Check for the red tinting issue
a) Turn on your phone b) Type this at your calling screen *#0*# and select LED 
>
>
c) You will see all white background u can check from there whether there is red tint d) If you are satisfied with the tint, then all is well e) If you are unsatisfied, you can consider going into display settings and set up a few adjustments f) Go to the Settings app then Display>Screen Mode 
- Screen mode, you can choose from 4 modes, keep in mind on ADAPTIVE DISPLAY mode can fine tune your display - In ADAPTIVE DISPLAY mode, you can choose to make your screen warmer or cooler - In ADAPTIVE DISPLAY mode, you can adjust the red, green, blue colour balance of your screen 
- In ADAPTIVE DISPLAY mode, you can adjust the temperature of the edges of the screen (requires a restart) 
f) If you are still unsatisfied, you may be able to set the red tint with another solution, dial *#15987# 
- You can adjust the tint with values lesser than zero

Went to Pyramid just now. Some of the display units at the road show has minor red tint.
Heres what I feel. My device has moderate red tint meaning that the top half has red tint but not too bad. This can be reduced. 1. Turn on Adaptive Display. Over time this seems to correct the redness till very low or none left. I think using *#0*# sets the display filtering to basic because suddenly the redness becomes very obvious. Adjusting the *#<long number*# setting seems to make the screen more red or more blue which is not to my liking. I left it at default. Adjusting the edge coolness/warmness seems to make the edges too blue or too red. I left it at default. Now I'm wondering if I should exchange until I get a perfect display or should I leave it since its not too bad and doesnt really bother me? |

Samsung retail shop and Samsung Careline not allow me to do 1 to 1 exchange , red tint issie..they even ask to go to service to let them study as white mouse...very dissapointed...please help..any advice?

I think the 'quick charge' powerbank and 'fast charging' wireless charger are really old stock..
Why? I use both and it takes ages to charge.. When I use an Anker PowerCore QC 2.0 it takes literally minutes to charge full to 100% from 65%.. give it a try~~ |

I left the phone from 1130pm last night on the wireless pad with ori cable & plug. On the screen written 'wireless fast charging. Time to full 1 hr plus'.
This morning woke, saw the phone still charging at 84% but no fast charging & time to full written. Only something like 'charging'. Anybody else had same proble? |

Went to klcc to collect in the evening very few people doing collection.
Shout out to bro Afi very professional and let me check the phone without rushing. He said he hadn't had a chance to eat until evening cause many ppl earlier. When asked him about the red tint issue be said he hasn't heard of customer complaining of such issue at KLCC. Maybe those people didn't check. Sadly no time to unbox at home:

Had this issue previously when I used the Ikea brand wireless charger (non fast charging) with my S7e. I think it's not a wireless charger issue, probably more of phone built-in safety to prevent overcharging (which may also contribute to what some other forumers were saying that their phone is warm due to the phone constantly discharging a bit, then recharging again).This morning woke, saw the phone still charging at 84% but no fast charging & time to full written. Just now mine when look at the locked screen at 100% charged but LED still red, but i didn't switch it off, and after 15 minutes or so, the LED turned green. Guys, one major issue with my S8+
Taking photos with Instagram the end result picture is zoomed in, not as what originally captured. Anyone else having same issue as me? Current solution is to take photo with default camera app and add the photo to Instagram from gallery Feedbacks appreciated. |

those who did clear coat - do we have to wait one day for the coat to settle? right now it has a pixelated effect on my screen. very cannot tahan, gorgeous screen become like that. am hoping it settles down and becomes nice and clear. otherwise I'll tear it off and buy spigen sp - RM40 only.

Here mine with clear coatFor those keep asking for screen protector. here mine with clear coat by mobile outfitter. here my review its so thin that you barely notice the screen protector is on. yes it wrapped around the edge but not 360 because i choose able fit case type. there 2 types type 1- wrapped 360 degree might be challenging to fit case type 2 - front and back only side no sp to fit case pros very thin and slim sometimes i dont notice the sp is on wrapped around curve very well lifetime warranty replace by proffessional. protect from minor bump or scratch Screen still sensitive like without sp cons very expensive finger print magnet for the clear type might not be able protect from drop        |

Getting migraine for the past 2 days, started after using s8 with Iris scanner with glasses. Have stopped using iris scanner and no longer have migraine. Not sure it is related. I have no such problem while using Microsoft Hello

After using the S8 for two days, I must say that the first impression is, DAMN THIS THING IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!
The UI is as smooth if not, better than Note 7. When using S8, I had this feeling that my ex-Note7 has finally came back to me! Too bad this S8 is for my wife. Let's hope that the upcoming Note 8 will be better than S8!! |

oh and also the number one reason IMO why the S8 UI feels good is because of the Icons with Edges feature under display or wallpaper iinm.
If you change it to Icons only, god it looks like old TouchWiz damn ugly, now Icons with Edges makes it look sleek. Go test it out for yourself. |

Just had a chance hold the S8 & S8+ just now.
Theres not much different for the size. But the price. I think i will get the S8. But not now. Maybe wait for the 2nd batch. For the time being just enjoy all the feedback here |

The nav bar has some light color overlay on it, hence the stripe look as in it was OLED burn in. If you test on a white background then there's no stripe it means it still is fine.

Im still having a hard time using the fingerprint sensor on this phone. Not only it is so placed to to the top, it is also so slim.
Had more sucess in using my redmi note 4 that this lol. |

Finally I'm a proud owner of S8+ orchid grey yeaaahhh!! I wasn't planning to buy it but this thread poisoned me loll.. bought it at sunway roadshow.. the fingerprint placement somehow is very comfortable for me.. my hands are small btw.. loll..

i think need to change the way things work. place the phone face down. when you pick it up, auto read finger print and screen unlock. |

Dunno why so many people keep complaining about the fingerprint sensor I just need drag extra 5mm to reach it.

But also wanted to download android Auto. The thing is, Android Auto not launch in Malaysia. So dunno those apk file got virus that hack my phone.. |

To improve colour adjustment. Has anyone update yet ? Btw anyone using spigen liquid air ? Coz the sp that comes with starter kit not compatible with the casing. |

I know it's still earlier to tell a phone battery life just for couple of days. This is my first impression on S8 as well as other Samsung phones. Hi all, I just got my s8+ this afternoon and it is gorgeous.
But I found that my phone screen always on even it's lock. I know there is a function called always on display but is it normal that the background light also always on? I did Google but no idea whether it is normal |

hi guys, want to ask is it normal that the signal strength is always at 1-2 bar? but it increases (3-4 bars) when i'm calling and receiving the call and then it drops back to 1-2 bars. my phone is s8, using celcom and location is in gombak.

To those complaining about slow charge using wireless charging, it is the heat dissipated that slows down the charge. If want charge faster, can use a fan to blow through the pad. One can wirelessly charge to 100% as fast as 2 hours based on my experience using the S7 Edge.

when u guys take pic , press screen to focus 1 place then take pic right ? i find out all the pic i take very bright need to press focus and adjust to brightness to very low only look normal for those photo is it normal? |

guys, i'm using tempered glass right now, as what other youtuber said, it just sucks unless you go for those very expensive 1 (gpel/olixar/hao), anyone experiencing this issue? (all side of the screen vry hard to use, especially btm left and btm right), however, samsung SP should be no problem on touch right (since not as thick as tempered glass), i guess i will throw this 1 away and go for samsung 1 with shock prove, what do you guys think?

Compared the S7E with S8/8+ side by side and found the S7E display to be slightly brighter with the same brightness settings. This happened with auto and full brightness. Hmmm.... |

The Galaxy S8 is 5 to 10 percent Brighter than the Galaxy S7, and up to 19% Brighter in High Ambient Light with Automatic Brightness. For most image content the Galaxy S8 provides over 460 cd/m2 (Luminance, which is a measure of Brightness sometimes called nits), comparable or higher than most LCD displays in this size class. The measured Brightness on the Home screen is even higher at over 525 nits. When the display Brightness is set Manually with the slider, it can be adjusted to reach a maximum screen Brightness of up to 610 nits, which is impressive. Still using my old trusted cheap AKG Y23 as my daily earphones.. Ear so itchy want to try the 99$ AKG samsung given but then, unused accessories will always be a selling points when selling used phones.. 😂 |

My s8+ kena camera failed. Front camera failed.
Cant selfie, cant iris. Tested all method recommended in the net. Even Master Reset. Now need to go baxk to Maxis Hope they change a new one for me. Btw i wash the phone everyday with dettol...will it affect it? |
