QUOTE(benny888 @ May 6 2017, 08:11 AM) Seems Samsung as Huawei is also involved in "cheating" consumers about its ufs type storage its only certain Snapdragon S8, Exynos totally not affected and Snapdragon S8+ not affected too. I checked mine and is ufs 2.1 https://www.xda-developers.com/the-hardware...-1-and-ufs-2-0/ |

QUOTE(juwels @ May 6 2017, 01:31 PM) those who did clear coat - do we have to wait one day for the coat to settle? right now it has a pixelated effect on my screen. very cannot tahan, gorgeous screen become like that. am hoping it settles down and becomes nice and clear. otherwise I'll tear it off and buy spigen sp - RM40 only. same thoughts. |

QUOTE(Vape On @ May 6 2017, 02:09 PM) Huawei fans butthurt. haha but its true, on reddit thread it has more replies, and quite a few or most of them using Snapdragon S8 checked and only have ufs2.0Samsung fans checked and found they got the best ufs2.1. I doubt those in xda ufs2.0 are the real deal. So little voted. Might be trolling. Huawei fans checked and found they got ufs2.0 or emmc this is a Snapdragon S8 only issue. Unaffected units are : Snapdragon S8+ and all variants Exynos S8/S8+ https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/...hip-s8-t3601656 see Snapdragon S8, split 50/50 between those getting ufs 2.0 vs ufs 2.1 This post has been edited by LordDenning: May 6 2017, 02:44 PM |

oh and also the number one reason IMO why the S8 UI feels good is because of the Icons with Edges feature under display or wallpaper iinm.
If you change it to Icons only, god it looks like old TouchWiz damn ugly, now Icons with Edges makes it look sleek. Go test it out for yourself. |

QUOTE(Xirality @ May 7 2017, 02:06 PM) i use contact lenses and glasses, both works well..actually, it even exceed my expectation.. You see when use iris scanner got the 2 circle thing pop up and ask u to "place" your eyes there, but in actual fact you dont have to align your eyes to the circles, just LOOK at the top part of your phone where all the sensors are and that will unlock the phone.. The 2 circle is a bit misleading into thinking u need to adjust your phone or eyes to the circle which takes up time and is a bit of an inconvenience.. but you dont have to, just look at top part of phone where sensors are will do the job |

QUOTE(Bujal.x @ May 7 2017, 09:22 PM) Using the phone naked is an act or daredevil. Dem so slippery. Not to mention the smudge. Using the clear back cover also not helping. Haih.. im using it without case, only clear coat on for front, back and sides. clear coat helps with the slippery part because of its rubbery feeling.. |
