Discount and freebies are always possible when you buy from sellers/dealers. However, since some S8 are plagued with the red tint issue, you may end up getting a returned phone where the previous owner returned it due to the red tint. This is not just some wild guess. It's entirely possible since many people have changed their units to a problem free one. There should be at least a few hundreds of returned units behind the scenes and we certainly won't know how Samsung would deal with those units. refurbished? Or repackaging and sell to the next customer? No idea. That's the risk when you buy from a seller/dealer, unless you can find a reliable one.

Buying from the store is expensive compared to the others. No doubt about that. However, you can easily change to another unit if you find out your phone got problem on the spot. This may not applicalble to sellers/dealers. Not to mention the online purchase, it's even harder if you want to get a replacement.

If the budget is not a concern, I would suggest you to go buy from the Samsung store, for the sake of peace of mind.
