It is emitting infrared light, that's why it is red which is near the end of the visible range of the light spectrum.

I found registering the fingerprint quite difficult as it kept saying "cover the finger over the sensor".

Iris scanner does not work that well under bright sunlight while face recognition does not work that well in dark. There are actually complementary. But Samsung limit to only use one at a time.

Is your location history on?

To those complaining about slow charge using wireless charging, it is the heat dissipated that slows down the charge. If want charge faster, can use a fan to blow through the pad. One can wirelessly charge to 100% as fast as 2 hours based on my experience using the S7 Edge.

I think Samsung original SP is the smoothest to the touch compared to 3rd party that I have used on other phones which have rubbery feel. It sorts of like mimicking the feel of the glass underneath. To those that face case compatibility issue, I recommend that you cut the SP to fit the required size.

The only TG SP that I have faith in is this glass. But getting it is difficult and expensive.

Yes, CC is very rubbery at first. But after washing it and using for few days, it is less rubbery. But still RUBBERY. Cannot compare to the smooth feeling of the original Samsung SP, it is almost as smooth as glass. CC is even worst for S-Pen based on my experience with the Note7 (just informing those who intend to use CC on Note8).

Okay, saw their FB page. Sounds promising. But still prefers the 100% transparent screen of the Dome glass.
