Do you get edge blue lighting when got notification for new messages while the screen is off?

Anyone of you get the Edge Lighting on while the screen is turn off?
I already turn it on for all apps, so for only stock SMS app is working, other apps is not. |

WhatsApp does work too if you select turn on Popup Notification in whatsapp's setting. I guess developers need to update the apps in order to work with edge lighting.
