For some Adobe programs, better use Intel CPU. Though Ryzen CPU isn't bad in CC

Hi guys! Need some help on getting a Windows laptop, been using Mac since like forever and now in need of a Windows laptop to do some works so I am truly clueless about it

1. Budget : RM2000-RM2500
2. Usage : Strictly office works, word/powerpoint/excel. Gonna deal with a lot of documents
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : Big display is a must, because will open a lot of documents simultaneously. 15 inch maybe? Will only use in the office as main computer. Good processor with good multitasking ability. No need fancy graphic cards. Preferably something reliable with good after sales support.

1. Budget : max RM3K
2. Usage : light cad software, not much heavy rendering stuff, corel draw
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : prefer large display at 15', not much concern on battery and weight as usage is just within home

this certainly looks much more cool compare Huawei D15 which i had in mind
quick question, when you say +RAM, do you foresee 8GB RAM might not be enough for the CAD tool and corel draw app?

8GB is min nowadays, 16GB is recommended. If budget allows go for 16GB RAM

Yup that one, however I would highly suggest going for Legion 5 with newer Ryzen 4000 (even though over budget)

I was thinking to take New Alienware M15 R3 - custom OR New Dell XPS 15 - custom.

No preference, more emphasis on performance

If you want more performance you have to sacrifice on fan noise

3 hrs battery with minimal usage.

More emphasis on performance as only use heavy programs while plugged in.

2) Acer Predator triton 300 - around 5k
3) If you don't mind stretching out, maybe Acer predator helios 500 and its really powerful

So I need to get my mum a new laptop. Budget is around 1k to 2k. Just nothing exceeding 2.3k. Main purposes are web surfing, word processing, shows and videos, web conferencing (Zoom etc.). Dedicated GPU not needed. At least 8GB RAM and SSD is a must. If it's an Intel processor then must be a Core. If it's an AMD processor then must be a Ryzen. No size or display preference.

How does envy x360 (2020 ryzen 5) fare against similar priced alternatives? Looking for thin and light mainly for media usage and casual gaming (GTA V medium maybe?) High srgb not a must but good to have. Battery life > 5hrs would be good enough. Not necessarily have to be 2 in 1 laptop.
