2. Usage : Chemical Engineering student, engineering software and online classrooms
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : Great Battery life

Prefer gaming/performance laptop or non gaming?

Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradeable RAM?

Don't mind srgb display, hope can have upgradable RAM(but don't mind if non-upgradable)

Can consider Latitude 5300/5400/5500 DFO

No preference, also Latitude DFO prices are now more expensive than stated in Ultrabooks Approval Thread

Yup.

Not sure whether you can extend your budget, but Legion 5 AMD with 80Wh battery is a good choice

Noted, that actually seems like the best choice 😯

Sorry for lack of info

Wait time : Not really urgent (in fact, I been searching on and off for months, but didn't see any 'great bang of bucks' that can moves my wallet)
Display Size : 15 inch if possible (used to this size for years already) or 17 (but my budget probably can't afford a decent 17 incher)

Doesn't really matter gaming or not, but hopefully it can last 3-4 years (in future, I guess I will still be doing some basic Photoshoping/AI/Excel for work purposes)

Display quality : Color needs to be kinda accurate
Battery Life is secondary, most of the time I sit next to power outlet.

this from illegearlooks kinda interesting, but the OS is trial version  sad.gif

Your budget is RM3000-RM3300, found a laptop under RM2000. 😉😅

Wow, thanks

I did some configuration to it, ends up RM2.5k with a 5% discount code (somehow the birthday code can't be applied for me)
How future proof do you think is the specs below?
The lack of graphic cards means I can't be playing game.. (but oh well, damn long never played any)

If BIRTHDAY can't work, try STUDENT.

BIRTHDAY only works with Ryzen 5 5500U model with 4GB+4GB RAM~

Also another suggestion is to not choose HDD Kit so that you can have a bigger 45Wh battery.

BTW my config with 45Wh was Part # 82KVCTO1WW, and you can add this config to your cart and edit the specs to your liking from there.
