Hi,

I m currently using default WLAN router ,RG 4332 provided by tm and it is started to give me problem.

Am looking for compatible replacement for RG4332.

Any suitable router from TP link? I am still using VDSL 2, not FTTH
*
Not from TP-Link. D-Link, yes. Two models. See here:

1) http://www.dlink.com.my/product/ac1200-wir...bit-4-port-iad/

2) http://www.dlink.com.my/product/dsl-2877al...s-modem-router/

I would recommend the first link.

Have been in development for a long time for some reason. Who knows? If there are good ones, I will get it from them.

Hi

I am not sure if I need an upgrade or not but need some advice for my home net work situation. Previously I am using UNIFI 50 Mpbs plan with their stock router Dlink 850L with TP- Link AV500 Pass through Powerline Wifi Kit. My PC connected via wifi to the plug extension via wifi and able to get the speed by the network provider. However after upgrading to the 100 Mpbs plan, I am able to get the speed promised (UL 100 DL 50) when I run speed test on the Dlink network 5GHz wifi band and LAN connection to the D link router. However on the powerline adapter I only able to get DL 50-65 Mpbs UL 30-40 Mpbs using network cable and wifi connection. I have make sure no other user connected to the network when I ran the test. So I believe the bottleneck could be from the powerline side. What do I need to do to fully get the 100 DL and 50 UL? Thanks. nod.gif

Power line is crap for WiFi and crap for LAN as well as it depends on the power line, best thing you can do is to get another router with a higher coverage and connect to the 5GHz of that router or get a wired connection to the router.

need advice

am using AV500 powerline now
previously connected to D-Link DAP-1360 simple wifi AP and recently the AP give weird prob
thinking of buying an adapter with wifi signal extender rather than buying another AP as replacement
eyeing on TPLINK TL-WPA4530
based on my reading, seems like it can connect with my existing AV500 pwerline and by its own can generate wifi signal
so I can save one power outlet (no need power for AP and at same time for powerline adapter)

is the above good choice?
or still better to use dedicated AP like my previous D-Link to enjoy better connectivity?

please share ur view....tq

Lol why do you want IPv6 anyway? It is not implemented well in Malaysia at all, and this router is old. You would do better switching router, to something newer, like the C7 v4. If you still want to configure it, read the manual here: https://static.tp-link.com/res/down/doc/Arc...0(EU)_V1_UG.pdf

Same question. Anyone?

Also, is your hypptv run alright with Archer c7 v4? Mine sometimes got "no connection" but it turns alright if I use the given router (dIR850) by unifi.

You mean the word "no connection" ? i never encounter that.

My Archer C7 V4 so far encounter 2 time Hypptv hang with a small satellite dish crossed icon come out. but when select other channel with the set top box, all is ok again.

once in a while Hypptv will lag a bit around 1 sec like that. this also happen with C1200 TM router.
