any one upgrade d, any comment? is it advisable to upgrade?

Hi i have an archer C7 V2 hardware.. flashed the latest Malaysian firmware.. after setup the internet is working fine.. but when i turn on my Hypptv the internet is gone.. i have to turn off my Hypptv and restart the router to make the internet work again.. anyone ever had this situation before?

You can both disable hardware NAT under ‘NAT’, it will be okay then. The new firmware supposed to fix that, but I guess not.

Unifi technician just left. They replaced my modem to a new one (i.e. the white AN5506-04-BG model).

TM Speedtest results are as follows (note: I'm on the 500Mbps Turbo package):
Download speed: 439.9Mbps
Upload: 108.1 Mbps
Ping: 4ms
Jitter: 1 ms

Note: The above speed was achieved using direct LAN connection from the router to my laptop.

My router: TP-Link Archer C7 version 5
LAN Cable: Ugreen's Cat6 cable

Overall, I'm happy with the performance of my setup.

Unifi Technician shared with me the following:

a) For direct LAN connection to a laptop running on Windows 10, their experience is that download speed is only averaging 80-85% on package speed. Therefore, my 440Mbps speed achieved is within the average. He said to check with fellow forumers if there is a solution to reduce that 15-20% speed loss.

b) For those whom have built-in LAN cables in their walls, to check whether their LAN cables are still Cat5 (which is only capable of 100Mbps) or Cat 5e/Cat6.

Hello, C2300 is a good product but now technology are changing very fast.

By now and the future, we will be using Wireless AX Router and Wireless AX Adapter.
If you wish to get a new router like C2300.

I would to like suggest you to get TP-Link Archer AX50.
Around the same price before.
When it first launched, the price starting from RM 799.
And reduce the price lower to around RM 599.

Hello, I would like to suggest you to bypass the ONU and test out the speed.

Have you tried factory reset on C2300?

Before you proceed above. You need to have the PPPoE Credentials ready.
