I've only used these 2 models. C5 has speed limiting, C1200 doesn't.

A few of the newer models like C1200 has VPN but no speed limiting. The older ones like C5 has speed limiting but no VPN.

Alex9182 After check my router, YES! you are right, you can see the picture attached.

However, if is your bandwidth throughput is low, basically you can't see the different.

If is HyppTV, actually TM have a dedicated bandwidth.

Speed control and QoS are 2 separate things which can be dis/enabled independently.

That’s correct, no QoS when Boost is on. Generally speaking, in order for the above to work, “NAT Boost” needs to be disabled because “NAT Boost” allows traffic to bypass the CPU (to speed things up) whereas speed control and QoS requires the cpu’s attention so it can exercise some form of control.

NAT Boost is also why a cheap router can handle a 500mbps internet connection which normally requires a much more expensive router.

I'm not clear on what you want to do and I'm not familiar with TP-Link but here goes.
1. HyppTV doesn't use NAT so I'm not sure why you're asking about this specifically.
2. NAT Boost affects the whole router. On will disable speed limit (and QoS). But off or on should have no effect on HyppTV traffic.

On a my router, a Mikrotik, same thing applies.
1. NAT Boost called Fasttrack here also must be off for any QoS or speed limit to work.
2. HyppTV traffic is accelerated (not for increased speed, more for less CPU usage) by another component called Fastpath. This works even when Fasttrack is off.
3. There's a 3rd way and that is to offload HyppTV traffic to the switch chip. This is the fastest, practically 0% cpu usage.

Also, is your hypptv run alright with Archer c7 v4? Mine sometimes got "no connection" but it turns alright if I use the given router (dIR850) by unifi.

anyone experienced slow data rate when using tplink router.

here's the connection:

4G modem router = > direct connection can get 100-190 mbps data rate

4G modem router -- Archer 3150 => at most 50-60 mbps. I have tried disabling the WiFi leaving only 1 connecting device for speed test.
Client connection was using the gigabit LAN port.

It used to be close or similar speed.
