QUOTE(ben8666 @ May 3 2018, 12:45 AM) Why did you even buy this router lol when there are so many other local options available? This router looks to be only for use in China, and therefore the configuration might be a bit difficult. You have to do it manually.QUOTE(Alex9182 @ May 3 2018, 01:04 AM) how come this model not found in Malaysia TP-Link website, also all Lazada listing for this model are China seller. That is because it is only available in China. |

I have TL-PA4010 KIT installed with my TIME 100Mbps connection and I am getting 50Mbps - 60Mbps speed on my extended unit with cable connection at my desktop.
May I know if this is speed limitation on TL-PA4010 or it was due to my power circuit that fail to fulfill the max speed from the ISP? Does upgrading to TP-LINK WPA8630 will help to maximize my cabled connection at my desktop? |

I am more inclined to say that it is due to your power circuit, and not the powerline. But, in saying that, the WPA8630KIT is one of the newer models that could probably handle electrical noise. With 2.4 GHz I am getting full 50Mbps speed when connected to the extended device but when comes to cabled connection it goes to 60+Mbps only.My house is newly build house and I don't do much power thus I believe it's 1 phase circuit. I am confused as TL-PA4010 spec describe it could handle up to 600Mbps. |

QUOTE(TP-LINK MY @ May 26 2017, 07:04 AM) Hi TPLink Malaysia, i need your technical support here.I am using TPLink Router Archer C1200 (provided by TM Unifi) On the back panel, it has only 1 USB port, but i wish to connect Printer & HDD together via using a USB Hub. Technically, is it possible to "share" the 1 USB port by using USB Hub, and then connect Printer & HDD together? Becoz my result was failed, Printer can be detected, but HDD cannot be found. -I am sure my HDD, USB Hub are no problem, becoz when I just single connect the HDD to router, it can be detected. But if connect through USB Hub, then it fails to detect. It is just a theoretical number and you won’t ever get up to that speed. Transferring data over electrical lines is very difficult as electrical lines are very fickle and can affect the data transmission rate. I have suggested you switch to a better router or get a wired connection. It’s up to you to either do it, or just live with the reduced speeds. My house is newly build house and I don't do much power thus I believe it's 1 phase circuit. QUOTE(llk @ May 8 2018, 11:55 AM) They might not be too keen on releasing it here then. Incidentally, is your router still available by any chance? My brother in law bought them a TP Link C3150 v2 so I don’t need to buy them that anymore but I am interested to explore the latest Archer C7 v4. I have the C7 v2 but have flashed it to DD-WRT for use as an AP in the future. TM official firmware for the C7 v2 Malaysia is too old. |

Hi TP-Link Malaysia,
There is a semi-faulty problem for the TL-MR6400 wireless 4G Router. It automatic disconnect internet connection after 1 or 2 hours. At first, I though it is the network issued based on the telco service provider. But when I swap the simcard to another router, no issued at all and continue streaming the video and browsing the website more than 3 hours.. Got call to TP-Link Malaysia call center, request to me arrange postage direct to Plaza Lowyat there. But TP-Link Malaysia can request pickup service from my doorstep here? (Just like asus have provide pickup service from customers) By the way, I purchase from Lazada. But seems like don't want to take responsible for it and request me direct send to TP-Link service center. How should I do? The packaging box is quite big one. |
