Hi i have an archer C7 V2 hardware.. flashed the latest Malaysian firmware.. after setup the internet is working fine.. but when i turn on my Hypptv the internet is gone.. i have to turn off my Hypptv and restart the router to make the internet work again.. anyone ever had this situation before?
*
Not really. Check to see if HyppTV is connected to Port 4 on your router and it is VLAN tagged correctly, which is VLAN600. The rest of the ports should be VLAN500, which is for Internet.

No. You can plug your HyppTV cable to port 1.

You can both disable hardware NAT under ‘NAT’, it will be okay then. The new firmware supposed to fix that, but I guess not.

Just try upgrading the firmware first. Then, if it still doesn't work, disable the Hardware NAT.

anyone experienced slow data rate when using tplink router.

here's the connection:

4G modem router = > direct connection can get 100-190 mbps data rate

4G modem router -- Archer 3150 => at most 50-60 mbps. I have tried disabling the WiFi leaving only 1 connecting device for speed test.
Client connection was using the gigabit LAN port.

It used to be close or similar speed.

I mean if u done speedtest using phone on 2.4Ghz band, switch off phone Bluetooth first because it may have impact on the result.

I tested using LAN cable. direct connection to the modem can get more than 100 mbps 4g download speed. modem connected to Archer 3150 and test connected to archer the speed cannot go more than 65 mbps.

Hi,

You will have to retain your existing router in addition to the Deco system.

Thanks

Hi,

I've just bought the unit and I was told by the shop (All IT) that it does not need the router for the connection. Now TP-Link saying otherwise and my current TP-Link router also has issues that the 5G connection is not functioning. So shall I return this Deco M5 and get another wireless router?

Hey bro, I would recommend the TP-Link AC3150 v2 if you are planning to return that and get another wireless router.

Bro, I am sure that it is the TP-Link C1200. If you want something good and high-end that have excellent wireless coverage, I will recommend the TP-Link C3150 v2. Otherwise, if you want the ultimate router, which is quite pricey, I would recommend the Asus-RT86U.

I wouldn’t if I were you. It can be hit and miss, as it is using your electrical wiring to carry the signal. Change to a better router and you will be happier for it.

How to connect tp link wpa4220 kit for hyptv.
If I connect to a laptop by changing to lan port 3 on the router it works. But when
I connect to lan4, my hypptv fails on gateway, central, ntp, dns and multicast.

If I leave it on lan port 3 on router, I fail on central and multicast only.

What am I doing wrong?
