Your area congested with many Infinite User. so they need to reduce your infinite number. Other full speed because they will use up the data quickly.
I suggest you cancel Infinite line because your area too congested. |

I am using infinite 150 but doesn't have any issue for me.
BTW, even digi control your speed during peak hour, this is NOT a hard cap. With limited bandwitdh, as network admin, they must control the traffic. Or else, you could see every plan of digi are facing 3-5m during peak hour or worse. |

15Mbps Up/Down is not too bad... Can't expect everyone to get 50Mbps... congestion will happen...

QUOTE(wc_how @ Apr 10 2017, 08:50 AM) I am using infinite 150 but doesn't have any issue for me. Ya, I believe DiGi detect if you use bandwidth 24 hours means you're heavy user and you will get throttle during peak hour.BTW, even digi control your speed during peak hour, this is NOT a hard cap. With limited bandwitdh, as network admin, they must control the traffic. Or else, you could see every plan of digi are facing 3-5m during peak hour or worse. But hey, you can download to your heart content during non-peak hour. DiGi is doing great job in capping TS speed during Peak Hour. I fully support this type of capping. Thanks DiGi. |

Not a bad idea, I have a streamyx 8Mbps and Digi 150. Guess what, i could not get 4G where i live so i turn off 4G and use 3G, which is actually faster than using the 3/4G signal line. On DL, Digi 3G is still twice the speed of my Streamyx. So, i can totally see how one would replace the junky Streamyx. Just few street down where my brother live, i can get Digi 4G up to 40-60Mbps during off peak hours, hope Digi improve their network soon.

Digi buat kerja kot.. spectrum punya kerja.
Tunggu jer la sampai Disember 2017. Kalau masih ada masalah terminate digi. Saya punya Celcom speed cecah 3mbps saja. Tunggu sampai SKMM punya kerja siap. Baru boleh decide spectrum atau digi capped speed. |

If it use for business purpose (since this plan is not commercial plan), 1kb already consider abuse. If it use for individual, 10tb is still not consider abuse. |

I don't know anyone can spend so much for a month. But it is just an example to explain to you that usage is not a guideline to determine someone abuse or not. Using TB as example maybe is too much, but 2-4hours streaming + some personal usage could be 200-300gb per month easily. And important is, this is "infinite(unlimited) plan, so usage should not become the term/guideline, but the contain is.So digi is controlling by what to surf/download (eg: limited p2p / block illegal website), but not impose quota how many you can download. |

A willing to pay, and a willing to give, and it based on contract (or the tnc) which agreed by both. And the hidden quota is 999GB, and i assume digi agree that this is an acceptable level for this plan before they conclude it as data abuse. This is the black & white, not something determined by a random usage, and everyone has different view on it. And a business is based on moral (which is without black&white and how to justify), it would bring a lot of disaster. |

Alcohol already a problem beginning when compare moral and religion, and it comes with limited quantity, and it may comes with problem when over drink it. Over download may not create problem (although maybe create congestion but it doesn't happen every time or every area). And if i agree that data abuse is decided by quantity, still the amount is not decided by you or me, but digi. If i give you a scenario like this. I spend 2TB per month. I use it to backup my 20 IPCAM to cloud for safety reason. How to you view this case? In some points, i very agree that majority of high usage involved with illegal download. BUT still, we cannot judge that simply seeing the amount only. For telco's stand, digi release unlimited plan, the intention is utilizing the unused bandwidth to the niche market. And i can tell you that, 2-3TB users definitely not the main reason who congest the network. 2TB usage probably equal to 100-200 normal usage users. But he are just spending 10mbps by average at the same time. But 100-200 normal usage users surfing at the same time, definitely kill the network more. |

If one uploads their video to youtube, their ipcam to youtube server or other server for almost 24hrs a day.. usage over 2TB a month vs someone who uses 1TB a month but uses it to download movies... pr0n.. but his activity only late at night while everyone sleeps. What type of user congest the tower more? doesn't matter upload or download. The tower still constrained by these activity. I'd say uploading are more constraining to the tower. |

Whatsapp me at 0196191991 for faster responseNeed your advice aswell Im planning to get the digi 150 Infinite plan however i am in contract with maxis with maxis one plan for 2 years The 150 infinite plan is to replace my streamyx 1mb plan hence i am not using it for call/sms etc. I do not need a router for wifi as I already have data on my phone. Need suggestions for a router that can connect with the digi 150 infinite directly to pc Thank you and regards |

QUOTE(HolySatan @ Apr 15 2017, 11:47 AM) one last question before I goWill the dongle be degraded over time if in constant connected to pc? If the durability is worthwhile then I might go for this. Consider budget wise. Or worse come to worse might go for Huawei b593 and sacrifice portabilty for durability |

QUOTE(Criss Malvory @ Apr 15 2017, 11:54 AM) might aswell add abit more and get a router instead of a dongle aint that right. don't buy dongle, cos you cant share across device... prefer either router + dongle, 3G/4G modem router or Router with build in Sim slot..hmm consider this as an investment then dongle is kinda age tech to me This post has been edited by stevenlee: Apr 15 2017, 11:58 AM |

Guys, I just bought the i150 plan, porting out from maxis prepaid.
How long will it take? And how is the chronology? Sim arrived > mnp porting out message arrived OR Mnp porting out message success > sim will be delivered ?? In the email, DIGI has stated : If you are switching to Digi from another telco via Mobile Number Portability (MNP), your device (if any) will only be delivered to you AFTER your switch to Digi is successful. This includes Pre-order and Backorder. Please help |

So no biggie. Plus my power bank is bigger battery than any mifi in the market for sure. U can plug into car, power bank, computer or any USB sources. This device is less heat too.bear in mind this is LTEcat4 speed. Not yet LTE-AThis post has been edited by chuahcs79: Apr 19 2017, 01:36 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

After using tonnes of modems over the years and I have owned more than 20 modems and few MiFis throughout the whole journey, I still think Huawei performs the best and follows by ZTE. Though I'm not a fan of Huawei due to job related reason but it still does its work the best when it comes to wireless broadband stuff.
I have ordered E5186-22a and E5786-32a, both are with my friend now and she will bring over for me from China in mid of May. Remember only these variants work for Malaysia's 4G+. You may get cheaper in Taobao, but please check the variants and usually these two variants are more expensive and have lower stock quantity. The other variants may work for only 4G which I don't want. I want 4G+. Can't wait. At the same time, I still have UniFi 50Mbps on top of my Infinite 150. I have the plan to relocate my UniFi account to my sister's house once it is activated in her area or terminate when my contract ends, in few months time... Less than 6 months. QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 19 2017, 04:17 PM) After using tonnes of modems over the years and I have owned more than 20 modems and few MiFis throughout the whole journey, I still think Huawei performs the best and follows by ZTE. Though I'm not a fan of Huawei due to job related reason but it still does its work the best when it comes to wireless broadband stuff. bro how much price u order for huawei e5186-22a? this version hv LTE CPE?I have ordered E5186-22a and E5786-32a, both are with my friend now and she will bring over for me from China in mid of May. |

Running a trial on Digi prepaid daily unlimited before switching to Inifinte 150
Does E5186-61a support 4G+ or E5186-22a is needed for Digi? I checked the price and it seems like 61a is much much cheaper in TB. Managed to get my hands on a E5786 and just 1 corner of my house is giving 10Mbps at 3bars, which beats the 4Mbps TM I got right now. Those using it, this thing easily overheat? found out need to restart after a few hours. |

Asked live chat last week. They said no YouTube issue at my area. Emailed and Facebook DM 3 days ago. No response until now. FYI, P2P is capped all the while. Not sure now can get full speed. I think it will back to cap later. |

My case, from the digi coverage map website seem my place is not cover with either 4G and 3G network but when I check with actual digi sim card, it seem my place have a strong 4G connection (3bar).. haish.. |

Comparing to you guys, mine is really underutilized. I don't know what to do with it. Just barely 2GB. When I don't have it, I know I want it. Now I have it but don't know what to do with it.

QUOTE(wc_how @ Apr 20 2017, 11:06 PM) 64% is good enough. It almost won't boost speed anymore, but will increase your ping if you buy antenna. But yagi gives you an option to change another tower when you face congestion. I think congest is not my problem because im not living in middle of big city, just trying to get something more stable connection since right now the speed is up and down like download speed at IDM running from 600-700kbps and jump to 1.8mbps-2.4mbps then drop to zero Maybe because my modem dongle is inside the window, thus im thinking about antenna. So maybe can tarik more coverage from outside QUOTE(HolySatan @ Apr 21 2017, 12:06 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « i still consider myself lucky when i150 can give me better speed than my 2mb streamyx This post has been edited by ajoi57: Apr 21 2017, 12:17 AM |

Hi guys,
I am planning to subscribe to this digi 150 plan. I have a few questions related to network setup. Does anyone has any idea whether this setup will work? ![]() See my current setup and how I want it to change. The 4g lte modem/router will be placed further from the living room, near window to get higher reception. Gigabit lan cable is not possible in my case, so I have to add a wireless router in between to connect by wireless. I am also not sure how/where to set the dns(adblock server) in this case. Please advise. Thanks. |

I bought the digi prepaid to test the speed first before buy the infinite. Ran the speed test throughout the house and got a good speed around 15 - 20 mbps. And my thought is, 'nice speed'... so I proceed with the purchase, and the sim card converted to infinite within an hour.
But, little did i know that time also play a major role in speed.......... and now anytime past 8 pm the speed crawling to 1 to 2 mbps, sometimes spike to 5 mpbs, but cant hold consistently. its been 2 nights like this. Cant even streaming properly.. Can complaint solve the issue? what's the most effective channel to complaint? |

My contact from Digi just called me and Digi is working on this. Apparently it's those apps cannot accept Digi's frequency or something. Rest assured, the Infinite team is working on it.

Probably because so many people started to use Infinite (80/150), and Digi had to do something otherwise we'll have network congestion. Imo, they should stop new registration already. Otherwise, we might see silly things like real 500GB/1TB data cap, bandwidth throttling, etc (thanks to the abusers) But, little did i know that time also play a major role in speed.......... and now anytime past 8 pm the speed crawling to 1 to 2 mbps, sometimes spike to 5 mpbs, but cant hold consistently. its been 2 nights like this. Does the Huawei WS880 (with Xwrt-Vortex firmware) support a 4G LTE USB modem?
I am thinking of subscribing to Digi's Infinite 150 plan. As I am already subscribed to Unifi, can I utilize the dual WAN feature, or do I have to switch between Unifi and Infinite 150? |

Anyway, according to my WS880 USB Application tab, you can use a 3G/4G USB modem. You just need to use one that is compatible with Digi network and the WS880. Click on "Support" to see a list of compatible USB modems. ![]() I think you can also use the dual WAN feature under the WAN tab. BTW, I have not tried out USB tethering on the WS880 before. |

Switch e398 to band 3 and untick band 7. Dl speed can reach 30Mbps with 100% signal strength.

QUOTE(starz92 @ Apr 22 2017, 09:52 AM) inside apartment I sometime get speed like this but it is not stable .. sometime go down to few mbps only...you facing this issue? are you using router btw? If I put my Huawei E5776s-32 Mobile WiFi near the window, then no. The speed is a little unstable if I put it in living room. |

QUOTE(raynman @ Apr 22 2017, 06:26 AM) Does the Huawei WS880 (with Xwrt-Vortex firmware) support a 4G LTE USB modem? Depends on the usb modem, i tried with Huawei E8372h, detected but it's not connectingI am thinking of subscribing to Digi's Infinite 150 plan. As I am already subscribed to Unifi, can I utilize the dual WAN feature, or do I have to switch between Unifi and Infinite 150? Might need to update the merlin firmare to latest and see if it works. I never tried dual wan feature On latest gargoyle firmware, huawei e8372h is detected as hilink modem and can connect with no issue Also, what 4g lte usb modem do you have? |

QUOTE(chickenducksoup @ Apr 22 2017, 03:14 PM) Things may improve if you use a better device. I have more than 30Mbps with just one little bar of 4G using my MiFi. I have a spare phone of Sony Xperia M also can reach around my MiFi speed. Try with other phones first before deciding so fast. |

QUOTE(chickenducksoup @ Apr 22 2017, 03:14 PM) H or H+ is not even 4G, more like 3.5G. Maybe you can check coverage from their website and see if your location is 3G or 4G or try other devices. This post has been edited by Ryonegma: Apr 22 2017, 04:45 PM |

My area Band 3 faster than Band 7.. Band 3 is exceeding 40Mbps but Band 7 only can hit till 9Mbps.
