Sometime not device problem but the signal tower problem,
i got 4g 3 out of 5 bar but i still received like 2-3 mbps
After few mins then back to 5mbps.

seems like digi is slowing down the speed for reserve

Maybe Digi 3G speed is poor in your area? Yes, I know your area is covered by 4G, but you still need 4G device in order to ride on their 4G network.

That means your 3G tower is not strong. Don't bother with 3G anymore, just use 4G. Change to a device which has 4G.
I lock my MiFi to only 4G.

Plug in ur dongle to ur pc, close the modem dialup software. Extract the mdma software then execute..

No 1 mb is not like edge, it is at leat 10x faster than edge.
3g k minimum speed shall be 200kbps and above is 1mb is 3g.

H+ can reach 28 mbps if good, but dont expect much. Still, all telco no longer advertise their 3g speed. 3g now will be at best effort basic so cant complain much.

Best solution is change to 4g phone.

Use VPN will do.

Definitely is coverage issue.
Tested with same phone , different area.
Can get 5mb.
But at my house ( even out door) can get 0.9mb only.
Ping was OK with 6Xms

It's just unlucky that your 3G tower is not working well. My area as well, only 4G works super well. In fact, it's LTE-A. I don't even bother about 3G and will not allow it to drop to 3G.

Works for me.
Used DD-WRT and configured as Wireless Repeater mode. Connect to E5786.

Configure different subnet between the DD-WRT and the E5786 and turned on DHCP server.
This bypasses the 10 device limit on the E5786 and also loading.

Very simple to configure. I followed this guide.

BTW, Tried ASUS-MerlinWRT and had trouble with this setup. Did not try Tomato.
For DD-WRT, if the router is unable to detect your Modem WIFI network, try this.

Go to Status->Wireless, click on 'Site Survey' and then join the SSID of your Modem
