Would everyone here agree if Digi start making one pass to bypass p2p & torrents block? At reasonable price, that is?

QUOTE(chickenducksoup @ Apr 22 2017, 06:46 PM) That means your 3G tower is not strong. Don't bother with 3G anymore, just use 4G. Change to a device which has 4G.I lock my MiFi to only 4G. This post has been edited by fruitie: Apr 22 2017, 06:56 PM |

QUOTE(chickenducksoup @ Apr 22 2017, 04:21 PM) Yes it's should be faster than 1mb. No 1 mb is not like edge, it is at leat 10x faster than edge.1mb was like edge.... Previously using Celcom burung hantu can ez hit 10mb. 3g k minimum speed shall be 200kbps and above is 1mb is 3g. H+ can reach 28 mbps if good, but dont expect much. Still, all telco no longer advertise their 3g speed. 3g now will be at best effort basic so cant complain much. Best solution is change to 4g phone. |

Definitely is coverage issue.
Tested with same phone , different area. Can get 5mb. But at my house ( even out door) can get 0.9mb only. Ping was OK with 6Xms |

QUOTE(chickenducksoup @ Apr 22 2017, 09:12 PM) Definitely is coverage issue. It's just unlucky that your 3G tower is not working well. My area as well, only 4G works super well. In fact, it's LTE-A. I don't even bother about 3G and will not allow it to drop to 3G.Tested with same phone , different area. Can get 5mb. But at my house ( even out door) can get 0.9mb only. Ping was OK with 6Xms |

QUOTE(mastermindsos @ Apr 21 2017, 11:59 AM) Upstairs is a different house. (imagine a shop house) Works for me.I just want to "tumpang" my 4g lte there because it has better signal and speed. So gigabit lan cable is not an option. I just want all my devices, desktop and server can connect to the internet. Revised diagram ![]() Used DD-WRT and configured as Wireless Repeater mode. Connect to E5786. Configure different subnet between the DD-WRT and the E5786 and turned on DHCP server. This bypasses the 10 device limit on the E5786 and also loading. Very simple to configure. I followed this guide. https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater BTW, Tried ASUS-MerlinWRT and had trouble with this setup. Did not try Tomato. For DD-WRT, if the router is unable to detect your Modem WIFI network, try this. Go to Status->Wireless, click on 'Site Survey' and then join the SSID of your Modem This post has been edited by kaiserreich: Apr 22 2017, 10:50 PM |
