QUOTE(melondance @ May 15 2024, 02:05 PM) Personally, majority of my holdings are in FSMOne. Only starting to deposit into IBKR 2 years ago for its Irish Domiciled ETF, if FSMOne release LSE ETF support for Malaysia platform, I would really prefer to have a local broker with office. If anything happens to me, I hope the process is as simple as possible. Furthermore, it is really really simple to deposit and withdraw from FSMOne, and the withdrawal from MYR cash account is instant too... The FX saved from using Wise or CIMB SG method shouldn't cause much loss to your wallet if you buy and never sell. When LSE come to FSM Malaysia? Already got in Singapore

QUOTE(Medufsaid @ May 15 2024, 02:24 PM) FSM RSP is actually RM1 + RM1 (stamp duty). that's U$0.42. not just that, current S&P500 annual dividend yield is 1.27%. you are losing out on RM19.05 annual savings per RM10k if u picked USA-domiciled etf funds Thanks for the calculation. For me, less RM19.05 for every RM10k is not much. I guess I will continue use FSMone as my main trading platform, IBKR as secondary.

QUOTE(buffa @ May 14 2024, 06:09 PM) Ya, processing fees, my bad. I was referring the other poster saying FSMOne has higher FX rate and platform fee. Overall, I think FSMOne is worth to use, if you dont want to do all those sg bank, RM > SGD > USD hassle. The only bad is no irish decimal ETF. I think it will be available soon since FSM Singapore already have. For RSP S&P500, VUAA is available.

QUOTE(Ramjade @ May 15 2024, 02:21 PM) Good funds available on FSM not available in Versa 1. TA global tech 2. Manulife India fund I only use FSM to buy 2 funds for my PRS and EPF. Principal retire easy 50 (PRS) KAF core income. FSM also have chart centre to check performance of funds. You can check it out here, use the funds I mentioned above to compare with what Versa have to offer. https://www.fsmone.com.my/funds/tools/chart-centreYou will find that what is available on Fsm is superior to what is available to Versa. What I am looking for may not be suitable for you and what you are looking for may not be suitable for me. now china market have potential..not reconsidering Principal PRS Plus Asia Pacific Ex Japan Equity - Class C?

Force to do national service and what nonsense common prosperity. I was a holder of Principal PRS Plus Asia Pacific Ex Japan Equity for years. Besides principal retire easy 50 also hold this fund. Rather reduce my holdings in Principal PRS Plus Asia Pacific Ex Japan Equity than 100% in it. If no emperor xi, maybe no issue.

For Vanguard S&P 500 ETF, how do we sell all our holdings ya?
System only allows to sell unit by unit, and I have fractional left.

QUOTE(virgoguy @ May 23 2024, 03:24 PM) you reduced the existing PRS and move to where? Principal retire easy 2050. I won't reduce cause I am not going to get penalised 8% for no reasons. QUOTE(coolguy99 @ May 23 2024, 06:21 PM) That PRS fund quite good no? I am invested for a few years already portfolio still in the green. It's good fund. But you see what happen during emperor xi last year. It's not the first time and won't be last time. Property developer issue isn't solved. People still no job. Think emperor xi won't do some more "common prosperity" or "national service"? This post has been edited by Ramjade: May 23 2024, 06:43 PM
