Fundsupermart's Discounted Initial Sales Charge* 1.75 %
Annual Management Charge* 1.5 %
Trustee Fee* 0.08% p.a.of NAV, subject to a minimum of RM18,000 per annum.
Other Significant Fees* -
Annual Expense Ratio ^ 1.68% (as of February 28, 2018)

How does one count the sales charge ya? From above it seems like more than 3%. Does that mean that any ROI you get from your portfolio will minus the sales charge?

Hi sifu sifu here. I’m a newbie and just started with FSM. Let’s say I have rm 200 extra each month to spare and want to just get invest it in FSM ASAP, which fund would you guys recommend. ATM I saw KGF, Affin Hwang and RHB Management fund 2 that interest me. The reason why I’m asking here is because I’m still reading thru the 700 pages threads and atm would like to just go with a fund first. After analyzing maybe will add more in the future.

there is a minimum initial purchase amount before the minimum top up amount.....
The cost of getting a few funds at a start may be a burden to some people.
RSP helps to eliminates this minimum initial purchase situation by reducing the minimum initial purchase amount...

Yup memang going for RSP already hence why I said rm 200/month. Just want to park my extra money somewhere don’t really care about the high return or short term goals.

Every month park ur money in rhb cash management fund2 first.

After that try doing research which fund u wanna invest .

Or u already know which fund u interested? Then just go ahead

Bought RM500, as a starter. Still learning slowly, park first.

Hi sifu, why RSP no discount in sales charge ya? I searched for KGF the discounted sales charge is 0.8% but if you do RSP its the original 1.75%. In this way, isn't it better to do it manually instead of RSP? We still can top up every month without RSP right?

Key in the amount that u wish u invest in this fund every month

Payment method should b cash management fund 😙

RSP sales charge is 1.75, but if you buy like normal it will be 0.8. And they say sales charge discount is applicable for RSP.

Hi guys let’s say I DCA RM200 every month. Sales charge is 2%, and I will only be getting 196 nett. Does that mean that my cost shown will be rm200, current value rm196 and loss is -4?

Just want to make sure that the cost shown there is with sales charge or not.
Thanks.

Me, I am Holding it, if yours are green, then by all means, dump and get other prospect funds you prefer, but if it's red, then I would say keep it and wait til it turn green.

Hi. Anyone here still feel that RHB Cash Management Fund is a good option for short term investment..?
*
Putting it in CMF is always better than keeping cash at home or putting it in FD.

1. Daily interest rate calculation, for FD you only get paid once you fulfill the maturity period. If you withdraw earlier, you get 0
2. No need to chase banks for promotion, can put in anytime
3. 3 days redemption period is very liquid already, if you need more liquidity don’t put all your cash equivalents into CMF.

QUOTE(sewjin @ Apr 28 2020, 01:23 PM)
relating to this, have you all ever considered holding your emergency funds in something with a bit more risk (i.e. Nomura i-Income Fund).

My logic is, since RHB CMF need to wait 3 days for redemption, might as well put in a fund with a bit higher return? The only drawback is the minimum RM5000 for each withdraw/deposit.

I'm still holding my emergency funds in RHB CMF but was wondering if any of you guys actually went with my thoughts above. Maybe I don't mind just telan the RM5000 min withdraw/deposit small issue ler.
*
Higher risk means possible to get negative return? Then no because I just want to park my cash inside. And min 5k is a bit too much la, RHB CMF has no restriction u can sell how many you want

no one asked for e wallet payment method. E wallet’s fund comes from the bank as well, why do you want to do double work?
