im planning to install tint for my car...

my need is to reduce the "silau".. so my priority is my windcreen...

i saw last time price range from RM1++ to RM1+++.. and airkool it the easiest to get for branded product?

So, any recommendation?

if u have budget, u may go for V-cool ... Otherwise solar guard also not bad ... coz i'm using now... cheap cheap and not bad ... but don't tint the RM100 ~ RM200 range paper... that one like "tak rasa" 1 ...

budget? rm500 or less i think... ok or not, i just tint for my driving purpose, i cant wear sunglass all the time.. "rimas...rimas" hehe


is it weird?, bcoz i heard ppl start put on tint with door glasses first, then baru la go for windscreen and backlite...

windscreen only i think already cost around RM500 ~ RM600 .. this is the price for V-cool. pricelist from terengganu, don't know kl can get how much . must be cheaper then this ...

Just now i went to used car dealer to ask for trade, my 2years old Sona resale value is not up to my expectation ....

Yea same here... meter cluster is off centre. but i dun bother to have it readjusted... cuz worried later got sound.

How much they offered you, and how many years or months your Sona is? I also interest to know.

I only hear the kok sound when i'm going over a hump with steering to the right (haven't tried left) while going down into underground carpark. If it's the same noise I would assume it gotta do with something near the suspension?

BTW since there are so many Proton users here, why not consolodate a list of service centres & their reviews?

I think no one has any concrete answers. My klunking sound was "fixed" 2 months back but only resulted in a 50% reduction in volume and frequency of the noise.

The klunking sound is Proton's way of saying thanks for your continuing support and reminding you to keep buying Proton.

Anybody modded their meter cluster light to BLUE COLOR like Satria Neo? Just need to change the bulb color right?

I've tried to install garmin to my A800, very sad to say that after the screen shown the garmin logo, then it just hanging there.
Then I format my SD card to try for 2nd & 3rd time. Now my original lakotoo software totally cannot on. It just shown me the Proton Logo, and again it hang there Anyway to recover it?
I did backup all the files from the SD card, format, and copy back the files to SD card, now I cannot get back my orignal GPS.
So, my last chance is to try this Papago x3. Unfortunely, I'm not able to download the item 2 & 3, pls pls....

today remove the front strut bar...cause kinda annoying when each time need to remove the bar in order to change the airfilter... so just remove it...and after removal, i feel the car not so stable.... dunno physiological effect or real...

my persona tinted by TINTMASTER which is about RM700++...the outcome was AWESOME!

I believe this issue faced by most of the Persona owner who bought the car before May 2009. My car also facing metal klonking sound when turn to the right hand side on an uneven road, you won't get the sound if you turn left, unless the hole is big or the road is very uneven.

I asked the Cheras SC on my first 2 services, their department head told me, it was caused by the metal power steering hose, can't be solved, he said no solution from Proton Headquarter. Then on my 3rd service, I took my car to Damansara 3S SC, it took them 2 days to check the issue, then result is they said it was caused by the air condition component and no solution from Proton Technical Headquarter, but they already knew the issue and looking to solve this.... 2 different SC told me different cause of problem, I wonder if I take to their technical headquarter at Bukit Kemuning, don't know what reason they will give this time...

My Persona SE bought in January 2009, and until now already 9 month, still no solution!!! I am now really regret to support Proton again....

I am looking to see if there is anyway that we can take legal action to sue Proton? This is a new car, not used car, if is used car, I understand, but this is a NEW car, but acting like old car....

Or else if there are people who fixed this problem... PLEASE PLEASE share your solution... We can't rely on Proton SC, now only can seek from other people help...

By the way, my friend bought Persona SE at October, so far he don't have this issue... I believe they solve for new car, but don't care about existing owner who has the problem...
