Last nite I able to use the garmin to navigate, but there was no voice. So I format the SD card and repeat the installation steps again.
Now again Garmin hang when it starts. Que.exe got problem. I really want to vomic & pengsan rclxub.gif

I have DIY padded it to avoid further damages.

To run Garmin on A800, I have to manually run the below items before run garmin.exe
1) Manually turn on port splitter.exe
2) Manually execute taskbarhide.exe
3) Run Garmin.exe

got error : assert bmp blah blah blah..

i just follow the instruction given, still got an error

am i missing something..
is there any noob step not included on the step given...sad.gif

me so noob using GPS..

Hi ryujimitsui, myself took about 3 days only gao tim the garmin installation.
The instruction from Roiss quite clear. Perhaps you need to override the APPS folder, voice folder, RunGMXT folder for few times.

Did you copy POI into the garmin folder?
I did so. I have a copy from my mobile, I try it as well in A800, it works great. And the map I am using now is dated 12 Oct 2009 smile.gif

For A900 user, i wouldn't recommended Garmin.. bcoz it so slow and keep on hang while u navigate..
...due to A900 lack of RAM..
i don't know about a800 cz i hv no xperience in it.. hmm.gif

on the other hand, PAPAGO is better... it work very smoothly
+ it have 3D building... rclxms.gif

look for roiss instruction in installing PAPAGO X3 in earlier page..it may help thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Anyway, is your Garmin lagging on A800? Mine refresh very slowly.. I'm only using 2D view for navigation.. tongue.gif

2. You just need to rename 'ceDesktop' to 'dp_Guider' and replace it.

Both are good in performance and accuracy, it's just the matter of insufficiency in memory for the Garmin to perform properly. So, I'll recommend you PaPaGO X3 as it runs smoothly, moreover it has 3D buildings + junction view. thumbup.gif

just get my persona today, btw how to switch the display on the meter? how to change the clock display, KM/L & KM left before fuel indicator light up?should they any manual book come with? i cant find any manual which teach me those thing, thanks in advance.

I think they didnt give me the manual book, i only have the radio manual, safe tinted, master guard & gps. Cant find any manual about that...

the things you stated is indeed not the manual book. go back and ask for it.
the manual book is quite comprehensive and it has answers to all the questions you raised earlier.

How to say is IAFM model? My Persona SE was out on January, is that IAFM model? As I knew, shouldn't be.
There are actually a lot of people have different kind of solution, but never confirm it is work perfectly. Some said using heat insulation rubber to wrap up the power steering metal hose, then the sound will gone. But after listened to the technician at Damansara S3 SC, they said is because of the air cond component pulak... I also dunno who to trust...
I wish is there any Proton SC HQ technician here that can help??? Really hopeless now...

r u currently goin into cedesktop, browse to papago folder & launch navi74800? if so yes u can bypass cedesktop thumbup.gif but if u wan 2 go straight into ppg upon switching on, still researching... sweat.gif
