Upgrade to what?
Usually they will upgrade for u (if they upgrade for u lar) they will do it when your card expired, they will send the upgraded card.

Maybank is launching new service, that is the ATM card with VISA capability.
It works as your ATM card and also VISA debit that linked directly to your savings/current account.

Go change your existing Maybank ATM card now for the limited edition card.
p/s: RM12 chargeable for changing the card.

My apologies, din make my self clear. I mean they wanna upgrade my card to gold or platinum. They requested that I sign and fax the form to them for processing. Credible?

Another ques, since I'm not working in Mal, no EPF, no office here. Possible to apply a CC? Found it a pain the *** to do.

Anyone that know the new flexi payment plan by CIMB??? Cant find the info at their website. The plan is like this: they'll charge you a one time interest. after that, you dont need to pay any interest for your installment.

Similar to the previous Easy Payment Plan by direct Access

1) Should have no problem if Hong Leong have that. Look for something like "Interbank or GIRO"
2) By default it will be blocked, means your transaction will be rejected but the machine might ask to call bank to get approval code and if approved then can overspend the limit, else u can also call up to your bank beforehand to ask for temporary credit increase.

4) Sure u can pay there's so many ways, like GIRO or ask your friend to pay for u 1st

I just cancelled my HSBC Mastercard today. With that, I don't know anymore CC from HSBC.

Anyone going to change existing Maybank ATM Card to Visa Debit ??
My ATM card already got crack de...but still able to use lar...just waiting for it to be totally break...haha...

Since the Visa Debit card is free renewal every 7 years... so why not ?

Just extra feature only, and limited edition card now if u apply fast.

yeah...i also read that the Maybank Visa Debit card need to be re-new every 7 year...
Might as well change my ATM card to it...so that every 7 year also new card

"The new debit card is valid for a 7-year period and is issued free upon renewal"

Maybank should remove the limitation of 4 FREE withdrawals in a month for this Visa Debit Card

HI guys, is that current maybank ATM card can be change to Maybank Visa Debit card in any Branch ? Or we can only change it in BRanch that we

opened account ? Since I open my account in hometown but currently work in KL ....any idea ?

I did mine today. They say if go back to the branch where I opened account, can change from ATM card to debit card free of charge. But I not sure if this is true or not...

So far I feel Maybank Visa Debit meets all my needs. So I no longer need to apply for Petronas CC. But there's 1 thing I need to check with you guys, this is what I got from their FAQ:



Does it means everytime I use this Visa Debit to pump petrol, I will be charged RM150? Then they only reverse back the extra money to me after 3 holding days?

Just noticed that my cancelled HSBC Visa CC information has been taken out from HSBC Internet Banking including the PDF statements.

definitely. that shows you have the capacity to pay.

The system is very straight forward - about similar to the old Flexi Payment plan.

1. You buy anything you want - make sure it least falls within the minimum spending requirement.
2. Call up the call center and ask to convert your purchases into your desired plan. (Ideally once it's posted into your credit card account - easier if you have the Internet banking facility)
3. Call center will confirm conversion
4. Your next bill will have the a. Installment payment b. The once off interest fee.
