What do you guys pay via credit card most of the time? Do you all settle the outstanding at once or by paying the minimum payment each time?

When I first had my credit card with the 3k credit limit, I terribly love to max up my credit card. Before the due date, I would attempt to hit the highest debt possible, like in open defiance. The highest I did manage to is RM2,992.56. Nowadays I can't do that anymore cause my credit limit is high. If I do that there is no way I can pay my balance in full. sweat.gif

Haha I do that just so that I could 'limit up' my CC as I desperately wanted to buy a DELL pc back then and I need it fast laugh.gif

I gave them a call after a few months that I would like a credit limit increased to RM xxxx. Thankfully, they raised it without question. If I didn't use a lot I assume that they will ask for my payslip which guarantee will fail.

How do u able to spend RM3000 whilst your salary is not more than RM2000 ????
Im sure your salary is not more than RM2000 else u would have get higher credit limit, no?

What do u mean "limit up"?
So that bank will raise the credit limit for u? they dont usually do that except u have been using the card for atleast 1-2 years.

I just got my card raised RM1000 automatically.

Nono, you dont need 4k salary to buy dell 4k laptop, My friend had max his credit limit at 6.3k(with 6k limit and settle full after statement arrived, weird overlimit but no extra charge). Then bank just give him another extra 100% limit upgrade.

Has anyone know is paypass work as HK optopus? Can i dont need take out my card, and wave my wallet on the machine to made the payment, can it be done?

Simple, my petrol is 100% claimable. Its about RM400 a month. I practically paid everything with my CC and thats about RM900 and thats about RM1,300 a month. But yeah back then my salary was only RM1.5k. I was really pushing it. By the time its near the due date its about 3k. So when my card is maxed up and and I paid the statement balance in full, it creates the impression that my credit limit is limiting me and not my salary. It works. wink.gif
