I think most bank will auto convert into RM. But regarding the limit convert, not sure it can be done anymore

i think UOB platinum card, is not those platinum card we really think. Last time I heard that it offer one card, called platinum....not quite remember.

most bank classic card is RM18k per annum. Gold card is quite subjective. Alliance bank require 48k per annum. If you wanna apply, can always pm me.

UOB ONE Platinum is just a name of credit card lol... saja let u feel "syok" haha...

the most easier to get plantinum is CIMB Direct Access... only require 80k annual income.. .other famous bank like HSBC , Citibank , Maybank etc all need 100-120k annual income...  rm5k/month confirm cannot get .. unless u got a guarantor..  or ask your parents that own it sup for you

I hold a UOB Platinum and there are many other exclusive benefits compared to normal Classic/Gold (just like any other Platinum cards). Plus, you have a special hotline to call instead of the normal general number. The annual fee is waived as long as you have at least 6 transactions a year so literally, it's free The ONE Platinum is targeted for younger people and have many other privilledges as well (they gave it to me but haven't used at all till today).

Earning RM2.5k and hoping for platinum card ??? I don't think the bank will approve.

Annual income for Gold card : RM48,000 per annum
Annual income for Platinum card : RM100,000 per annum

Not many people have RM100k per annum...else Platinum card won't be EXCLUSIVE lah.

It's a marketing gimmick
Mr. A's income is RM40K/PA

Bank A's minimum income for Gold is RM36K/PA and Bank B's minimum income for Gold is RM48K/PA.

If Mr. A's intention is purely just to have a Gold card to signify his status, then naturally he'll choose Bank A's Gold Card.

In this case, Bank A 1 - Bank B 0

plat card easy to get la nowadays

Public Bank Plat
Main Card is Free if spend RM10k pa
Sub Card is Free if spend RM5k pa

Every card need to pay. For public bank, just need to use certain amount then can waive the annual fees, if that is what you mean

I still dunno why people like plat card when they cannot afford to spend so much. I rather stick to gold card at the moment

I'm not credit card sales exec. But I help to do credit card sales. From what I know, usually based on your salary x 3. Or they will just follow your previous card. Unless you have loan from the bank, they will direct offer you the appropriate card. This info I got from those working in banks.

About alliance bank card, I also do the card for this bank. The requirement is a bit strict for gold onwards. Classic is standard for most banks. But this bank offer cash back and as well as points (lifetime) unlike most cards that give either points or cash back. And you need to swipe 12x in order to waive or spend 5k and above.
