hi guy,

i just notice form BE was required when applying maybank petronas cc... seem like problem for me,cos i just work less than 6 month and didit have it..so how i goin to apply ?

can i print out my bank statement online via maybank 2U ( no time goin for branch ) for credit card application ?

i just submitted my credit card application when should i call them (bank) to
check my application status ?

will bank staff call my company admin to verify my application? i just affraid my company admin person will miss their call because those admin person always took long time for lunch and meeting

no one answer fo rme

My sister income around 2.5k only and she was holding Citibank Gold card ( which also upgraded / offer automatically by bank ), curiously her credit limit

was 13k

I do think Bank will increase cc credit limit depends on ur spending habit

As i knew she always helped our family member paid first for gold stuff (for wedding), PC , laptop ,gathering dinner expenses and buying fly tickets

(for sure we did paid back ) , which mean her spended amount would be around 4k to 6k for certain month

how long did u wait until u get approved ur maybank petronas cc? mine submitted application on monday and now still no call from their staff to my office to verify my status.

p/s: me first time applied credit card ya, dun laugh me on my stupid question

thats mean took around 2 weeks for whole process? did they call ur office ?

emm....seem like only way is wait wait wait for me

i called maybank CS and they said didt have my application record although i

submmited on monday. They said this because of overwhelming reponse on Maybank petronas Visa cc thus

they need 3~4 weeks to process. wow..

wow...recieved my CItibank Clear Card today..just Done Within a week from application Bravo

HI guys, is that current maybank ATM card can be change to Maybank Visa Debit card in any Branch ? Or we can only change it in BRanch that we

opened account ? Since I open my account in hometown but currently work in KL ....any idea ?

lol, don be worry too much..different person have different personal / finance profile ..i wonder maybe some of ur colleague didt meet citibank requirement such as type of job, education , or else loan background...but i not so sure...

i got my citibank Clear card within one week from application to card arrived and my credit limit was 4.5k nearly to gold card..haha

was her first credit card since she just started to work last year....

How u saw the card appeared in ur M2U ? enlighten me cos i applied maybank petronas cc also along with citibank and cimb cc last month. I

got credit card from both bank already except maybank one

i see,thanks for ur info i did have an account with MBB & M2U, i just checked it and seem nothing about credit card info in my account summary.. i

guess application rejected maybe since already one month...

lol, a bit disappointed with that as all my saving and FD were put in maybank...futhermore my salary also credit in it... guess i will withdraw

Is true....i and my colleague apply cc at the same time with the same bank ...i already got my card but he didt ( he called card center and been told didt recieved any of his application) which he applied thru walking to branch, reversely i fax to card center.

so do u might to share or elaborate benefit / rebate of maybank petronas visa cc / cimb petronas master cc... ( since u got one of them if i not mistake)..


how actually 2% Rebate at PETRONAS service station works/calculate ?

and wat is the meaning of this ? =* Rebate is subject to a maximum spending of RM2,500 at PETRONAS service stations or rebate of RM50 per card per month.

haha i remember last time when i applied cc from citibank...i gave warning to my HR person ( which always late cos out for lunch.. ) be standby to answer phone calling from citibank...

yes, citibank clear card was my first card in my life ..i applied it last month along with cimb petronas cc ,maybank petronas cc.. i received citibank clear card first ( last 2 week), followed by cimb petronas ( last week ), and today..my maybank petronas cc

but i gonna cancel my cimb petronas cc cos they gave me classic one ( green color=too ugly for me ) instead of gold card anyway, its

credit limit was highest ( 6 k ) compare with my citibank (4k) and maybank cc (4k)..

If i am not mistake, gold card for cimb petronas needs 30k annual income. my income range? above 30k annually but lower then 30k after deducted EPF and socso.. .

As i knew , credit limit that bank assign to not only depends on income earning but there was other factor they also consider like type of job, payment history (loan ) and etc...but i not sure about that ( i guess only )..i think may let other forumer to answer it clearly for u

As i wrote in early posted, my friend got his first card in life (Hong leong bank) with 4.5k credit limit. His gf, card with 8k credit limit ( alliance bank) hope my info provided may help u

Added on April 2, 2008, 11:55 am with combined credit limit 8k ( 2 cards ) is enough for my expenses for now i put card's design as pride of place then credit limit..
