0-1 month for dell??? omg..digi giving better bonus..

Sorry, but I don't think this type of sharing is necessary nor it reflects the true picture.
For instance, different department within the same organisation would have different scale of bonus, not to mention different ranks of employee with different scale too.
Bonus also most of the time depends on how well the profit of the organisation. And the split between department is on how efficient the department is in helping the organisation achieve that profit.
So, sad to say that usually the front end departments would receive better bonuses as compared to the back end offices.

Well, i agree that it depends on organization profit. This tread is more towards general information. However, if you can share specific info, then that would be great !

yep... Michael dell announce no bonus for FY08..

Primarily due to lost of market share to HP in PC business.

6-18months bonus does exist , maxis gave 7months b4. investment bank might give even more...

but his scenario is in oversea, so doesn't apply here...especially for someone who only willing to share about his job thru PM...

for me just max is 2 months.

I've never gotten more than 3 months bonus before in my life.

I want to have a monthly salary of 20k and a 6-month bonus...

when u reach tht salary n bonus range , pls hire me, i only want half of what u r getting but i will try my best to do as much as u do...

well its really depends on co policy..but most do not offer bonus for newly join staff (or staff joined after October/November)....tat;s what I understand...

1 month, but they give it to you slowly. They give me 1/4 of it, then after 3 more months 1/4 of it. Because they scare people run away when take the measly 1 month bonus.

Oki .. to give ya guys a rough ideas bout it. Im actually involved in betting industry that also consist of analysis and informations of matches being played thruout the world. The company Im in is actually licensed and a listing company at London Stock Exchange. Its kinda sensitive to enclose my company that Im currently attached to here, and pls understand that. Dont simply jump into conclusion without doing some thinkin and futher research!

6-18months is just the standard. The management level are getting even MORE!

Less pay, bonuses for employees next year

PETALING JAYA: Employees may not enjoy the same salary increase and bonuses they received this year come 2008.

This was revealed in the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) Salary and Fringe Benefits Survey for Executives and Non-Executives 2007 here Thursday.

Speaking during a conference, MEF president Datuk Azman Shah said this was due to various uncertainties in the global market.

"Increasing oil prices and costs, coupled with business uncertainties in the global market, are making a huge impact.

"Our findings have forecast that both salary increase and bonuses for executives and non-executives may not match that of 2007," said Azman.

The survey was carried out among 233 companies nationwide who are members of the MEF.

Azman said on average, employees were looking at a 5.74% (non-executive) and 5.69% (executive) salary increase next year compared to 6.25% and 5.77% respectively this year.

"Even the average forecast bonus in 2008 for non-executives and executives is lower by 0.26 months and 0.31 months respectively compared to 2007," he said.

There was, however, some good news for employees in several industries.

The survey forecast that executives in the construction, banking, petroleum, electrical and diversified industries will receive a high salary increase, as will non-executives in diversified, wholesale, business services, electrical and petroleum industries.

Azman said the survey also found more companies adopting performance-linked wage systems, rather than just focusing on seniority.

However, he warned that a high monthly turnover of employees could be expected next year.

He attributed this to the tightening of markets, more professionals being snapped up by foreign firms and a surplus in foreign workers.

Azman later launched two MEF publications - The Analysis of Collective Agreements and Awards On Terms and Conditions of Employment 2006; and Leave and Absenteeism in Employment (Cases, Commentary and Materials).

i have not receive any bonus yet. Even the increment. Damn stupid company!

Did you check with your boss ? MNC companies will pay at year end but local or chinese companies will pay before CNY.

local usually...end of Jan or some smart china man co. will pay your bonus around mid CNY due to holding u back for new jobs.

Increment some may have backdate too some may not.

Account closing date (financial yr) most probably on April? tats y u haven get your bonus?
