This sounds like 14 months salary. If there is no performance bonus, would the staff put effort for the company...

Please specify if you know any small firm have performance bonus. And of course fresh employee get bonus too in condition he/she does not join the company close to year end.

OSK - 3 to 6 months bonus
Perodua - Around 6 months bonus
Petronas - 6 month + 1 month merit + loyalty bonus = 8 month
Prudential - 2 months contractual
Public Mutual (damansara) - 2 time bonuses (Performance bonus and year end bonus up to 6 months)
Roche = No bonus, but u can choose to split your annual income into 14 months and receive 2 months "bonus" at the end of 12 months
SAP - 2 to 3 months bonus
Scope International - 1.5 to 3 months bonus
Silverlake - No bonus
Sony EMCS Bangi - Bonus 2 times per year: April & October. Around 2.5 months total.
Standard Chartered Bank - Average 2.5 bonus
Technip Geoproduction = 1month + appraisal +- 4month
Toyota - 4 to 6 months bonus
York - average 5.5 month bonus and got people get 12 months bonus
YTL Power Services - 2 to 3 months depends on appraisal review
Titan chemicals - 1 month contractual. Variable performance bonus . Averagely 4 months bonus per year.

Because 12 months is kinda ridiculous unless you are referring to a position with pay less than RM 500...
