Don't forget Qualcomm claims 8 gen 2 is capable of 8k60 video recording. Expect such phones to be coming in 2023. Samsung still wins in One UI bestest Android UI. In terms of hardware CN set wins easily.

I actually welcome their current approached. The phone already has very good technology, so it is to better focus on what the customers want, just like Apple.

Increase the battery efficiency, resolved the camera stutter problem and improve the UI animation and interface for a better user experience.

S23U already $100 more expensive than iPhone Pro Max, I would say the selling price already reached the ceiling.

That day couldn't help it, thought my note10+ was having hardware issues. Turns out it was just a software issue. Lol. Using my note10+ as my spare phone. I love my s22u. Haha. Bought the 512GB one. And the battery outlast my note10+ by a lot. Usually my note10+ by 5pm will have 20% battery. My s22ubusually have 40%+ by 5pm. Really really good advantage.

Based on some members' feedback in the past, some buyers got their phone 2 weeks after the launching (the official release day), however, some buyer said their phone took more than a month to arrive due to selecting exclusive/unique colour.

So colour plays a factor on when you getting your phone.

Overall, shall be getting from 2 weeks to 1 month + from the preorder date.

Actually you can watch 8gen2 reviews on xiaomi mi 13 and make some estimate yourself. Use Mediatek Dimensity 8100 as comparison since it had 4x A78 cores vs 4x A77 cores on 865. A78 probably 5% or so faster than A77.

Of course these are all benchmark numbers and real world application could differ by power management etc.

Design wise is 99% identical to s22.

It is not about hardcore fans.
Mostly it is about what come with S23 that better than S22. Firstly it SD 8 Gen 2 from TSMC is much much better than S22 SD 8 Gen 1 in that come from samsung. If SD 8+ Gen 1 like both Flip4 and Fold4 then ok lar just a bit upgrade. My Flip4 which have way smaller battery can tahan nearly the same with S22 Ultra.

Not counting it come with bigger and hopefully better camera performance. Then i heard it will come with less curve screen which if true mean much easier and cheaper to put tempered glass.

For me, top range flagship should not last just a year.

I also have to add on. I think current Android generally also have better application management. So there won’t be tons of the apps actively running in the background choking the ram.
