The S23U will be worth if SME offers good early bird promo.

Meow'd get the SME's S23U if SME offers :
1) Free Care+, and/or
2) 40% Trade-in value of S22U 256GB, and/or
3) Current gen of Galoxxx Smartwatch.

Don't want those other silly accessories....
*
I hope they allow stackable trade in for samsung phones. I got one S21U and Note10 hopefully can get S23U biggrin.gif

Yes... after all discounts from Samsung Online Pre-Order promo, the Note23 512GB non-Lime is RM4,899...

Actually, ur current iP14PM is higher than RM5K for second hand units...
*
Is 4899 the lowest we can get for S23U 512Gb right now? ;p
I also got this price upon clicking around on samsung online.
My S21U 12+256 only cost 1150 unfortunately.

Meant it is better for me to trade in my Note 9 and get the S23 Ultra at RM4800+ then I sell my IP14 Pro Max myself instead of using InstaCash then I might no need to top up in the end.
*
I'm actually considering upgrading to 14PM or S23U. Surprise to see 14PM to S23U hehe

For public promo on 512GB Note23 non-Lime, that is the lowest "base" promo price... RM4,899

Can go lower if buy the Care+...

Even lower if redeem Samsung Reward Points....

U don't wanna try Telco promo @ RM4,399
*
If buy care+ then the total price is higher right? +Rm369 to 4899 not considering the 30% discount ;p

Well I never consider telco promo because I can never understand/catch up with all the "hidden" fees behind their calculation lol

Shopback doubles it today to encourage non-Lime to buy ASAP...LOL...
*
Just wondering , can I use it with Samsung Online Shop...if so where can I make sure I get the ShopBack discount, is it printed somewhere on the checkout page of Samsung?

I've already installed ShopBack chrome extension but still unsure how to use it lol

Thanks in advance!

I tried to login to education store and the offer does not include RM400 so I don't see it better than the current offer available to public

RM600 (during pre-order checkout) + RM5 (bank-in transfer on-the-spot) = RM605....

So if the trade in phone langsung cannot startup/screen rosak, they can't do any verification right? Just collect and cabut ke? hmm.gif

Just received my S23 Ultra from DHL. Wanted to shared the timeline with you guys and hope those PO's will received theirs soon.

Overall, DHL service and information update is quite up to standard. I think the main issue is from the Samsung Site when they have to cater part of their operation to satisfy individual PO in a global scale yet still have to allocate a majority of production for launching shipment demand globally. What they could have done better is to ship all PO in bulk and then have them process locally at each main branch per countries, instead of processing right at the manufacturing point.

Order Information
Order Place: 23 Feb
Order Type: Non-EPP/Non-EDU
Model: S23 Ultra
Storage: 512GB
Color: Graphite
Accessories: GW5 44mm
Delivery Method: Office Delivery

Timeline
23 Feb:
- Placed order at 23:49pm
- Received InstaCash email at 23:50pm
- Received Order Acknowledgement email from Samsung at 23:51pm
- Samsung Order Status went straight to Step 3: Preparing Order

28 Feb:
- Samsung Order Status changed to Step 4: Awaiting Dispatch when checked around 10pm
- "Track Item" button becomes available but shows tracking info unavailable in DHL tracking system
- All items are shipped together with the same tracking info.

1 Mar:
- DHL tracking information is available at 12:29pm
- DHL Status shows Awaiting Parcel Handover to DHL

2 Mar:
- Samsung Order Status change to Step 5: Out for Delivery at around 12pm
- DHL Status changed to Shipment Picked Up at 10:44pm
- IMEI is now available on Samsung Order Status website
- Production Date: 17-02-2023; Production Location: Korea

3 Mar:
- DHL start transiting to local delivery facility on midnight and out for delivery at 10:17am
- Received DHL SMS notification at 10:18am with driver and contact info
- However, shipment failed to deliver due to bad weather

4 Mar:
- DHL Status shows Out for Delivery again at 9:50am
- Contacted the driver through Whatsapp and successfully reroute the delivery address to residential address nearby
- Shipment finally delivered at 2:51pm
- Samsung Order Status still shows Step 5: Out for Delivery
- InstaCash to this date has not yet reached out for trade-in service

Thanks for sharing. This helps alot even though I'm not ordering S23 but a Fold 4 (was contemplating between these two and finally gone for fold series). Yet to receive my order but generally I think shipment will be faster than S23. Fingers crossed I can get it early next week! wink.gif

I bought the screen protector together with the phone.

The sales person helped me install. No bubbles etc but slightly off center, oh well. No issue with my case luckily.

From looking at the video and how the sales person did it, it is fairly simple, just have to do fine alignment even when the alignment tool is there to help.

The sales person took a while to remove all bubbles.

I am left with one spare.

Bought from SES 1 Utama.
*
yeah thats the prob sometimes i watched salesman help to apply is like seeing them SM my phone lol, they applying real pressure to push out the bubbles like its not their phone.

so this time I'm thinking to apply it myself with the tool, seeing the demo youtube looks fairly easy but i know it's not (bubbles are hard to avoid). probably will live with one or few bubbles lol

Same here. Still having iPhone 13 PM & iPhone 11 on hand. Although switched to S23U, battery life I would say still iPhone 13 PM better but the charging speed in S23U is compensation of this.

What I missed from iPhone 13 PM?
- Better notification control, simple & straight forward. Two clicks for no sound & no vibrate, for this S23U, messy like hell.
- Notifications come in faster & more consistent, not like S23U hit & miss.
- Better battery standby times.
- App switching is smoother than S23U, app won't relaunch or delay like S23U.
- Some apps I'm using in iPhone is running well but when comes to Android keep giving me issues.
- Siri is far more better than Bixby, at least Siri can hear me well to dismiss the alarm when I'm on the bed 3 meters away. This S23U I screamed like hell also cannot hear.
- The Face ID, the best face regconization that can unlock the phone when u r wearing a mask or driving to do something on phone.
- The bottom navigation bar of Facebook.
- Ecosystem of Apple, Apple Watch & AirPod Pro & etc.
- Still cannot find a floating clock (悬浮时间) that I'm having in iPhone 13 PM which can customized alot & keep screen on when using.
- Better 3rd party app control in terms of battery usage & system standby.

What I liked about S23U?
- Camera features (Moon shooting, 100x zoom, night photos, Expert Raw).
- SPen for drawing & photo editing that need accurate position refinement.
- Better mobile & Wi-Fi reception than iPhone 13 PM.
- Can install Macrodroid or use Routine to automate most of my tasks. Unlike iOS shortcut which is limited & restricted.
- Enabled call recording by changing CSC.
- Navigation bar at bottom with NavStar enabled can customize shortcut.
- Good Lock with lotsa customization although still not 100% polished for One UI 5.1.
- Finally, I no need to use iTunes to upload my downloaded songs/rigntone/notification tones & organize them like hell.
- Car audio media & call separation, which you can control your phone audio only use for car audio instead media audio.
- Split screen, bubble conversation & pop-up window.
- Dual messenger
- Samsung Dex
- Fingerprint unlock when ur phone is on the table

In summary, no regret switched to S23U because I'm started to use to it.
*
Nice summary, I always appreciate the long and point forms of pros/cons by user experience rclxm9.gif

As a long term Android user, I tend to think that with Apple phones you're not enjoying customizations but can fully enjoy the content.
On another hand, Android -- there're really tons and tons of system things to play with and customize so pick your poison thumbsup.gif
