Shit! My 2yrs old S23 Ultra got the pink light saber today after I updated to One Ui 7.0 last few days.

I took care of my phone very carefully. Ringke casing since day one.

Been loyal to Samsung since Note 5. Changed phone almost every year until 2023. All High end S/Note series. At the end, what do i get from this? I have to pay >RM1000 for replacing the screen, which was damaged by itself due to software update.

Screw it! No more support from me to Samsung. Goodbye, it's been a long ride. And good luck to you all.

mine was used tmobile unit

i tried to enable the vulkan driver, cant feel any difference

it seems different service center give different screen replacement fees
no harm ask whether got free replacement or not which someone shared on replacement thread

Mine back case seem got open up abit. Since already use 2yr+ d, want to replace battery too

What is the cost for battery replacement?

RM215 for battery plus the adhesive kit at Samsung SC
I will stick to SC mainly because of the possibility of replacing the screen due to green lines

there is a service program currently for 12 samsung models for one time screen replacement due to display line issue. s23 series included. it's until end of july. check with service centre.

ever since upgrading to one ui 6 edy experiencing battery drain rolleyes.gif
clear cache doesn't work also. chances are when ppl say clear cache increases SOT may be placebo as well. or battery degrades which isn't surprising

Sorry to hear that but if it makes you feel better, the price isn't Rm1k, don't refer to Samsung's website for the price. I contacted official service centre and the price is actually lower at RM855 and they guarantee your water resistance will be working fine as they will replace both front and back seal. And yeah I cracked my screen....

RM85 is for the labor fee. The replacement itself is free but it will not be done on the spot. Takes a few days.

Yes I changed it 2 weeks ago. Was curious about the price also, as website showed 1k+ so i asked the person there, they said its really this price, not promotion or smth.
