The simple interest per annum is 4.0%

But the daily compounded interest is actually lower at: (1+(0.039223/365))^365

In other words, the daily compounded interest rate is 3.9223%

Submitted a withdrawal at 6am on 28/4 and received funds around 9.30pm on same day.

Don't think it was a Friday. Both withdrawls were made before a working day. I think one was made on Sunday night

I recall its already been established that making withdrawls on a Friday is not optimal since it won't be processed until the next working day which would be Monday. Same goes for public holidays.

Weren't some of the previous posts about withdrawls made on working days but the users somehow experienced delays.. Hence I was lucky since my withdrawls were on/right before working days and I did not encounter any issues

I've withdrawn on a Friday before, manage to get it by Friday night itself. it's works probably 99.5% of the time. hence this statement is actually 99.5% wrong 👇The main issue here is, it's the 0.5% anomaly that makes it dangerous if you really need the cash urgently

It seems that the fund withdrawn from KDI Save is remitted from Citibank, via Interbank GIRO.


As such, which bank should we choose as our nominated savings account, so that we can quickly receive the fund withdrawn from KDI Save, on the same day that withdrawal request is made?

No need to be in a hurry. Few hours difference the money won't make any difference. Come on la. Just make sure to withdraw before the cut off time and you will get the money at the end of the day.
