how long have you been subscribing to the 30Mb? upgrade should be auto if you subscribed before Feb17 IIRC. And since your parents received message from TM, most probably already being upgraded??

A quick question.

For those upgraded to Unifi lite 10mbps as part of the thank you surprise program, anyone of you ask TM to remove the voice package (STD20)?

then most definitely you are eligible or already being upgraded just that you are not aware of it. You need to switch off your modem and router for 10 minutes to enable the upgrade. Check by logging into your OCC

I did restart and wait 10minute . Speed still the same one.

you might hv to wait then, upgrade is auto but hv to wait or you may contact them thru live chat after logging into occ

any expert can help me on this? Recently i got a free upgrade from 30mb to 50mb. My internet speed become horrible, dl only 20mb. i am using TP-Link ac1200 router. Previously when i was still using 30mb, i always got 30mb + - . Anyone facing the same issues?

Guys, TM called me to exchange my TM router so they can upgrade my 50Mbps to 100Mbps. They insist that they come and change that router 1st before they change my speed to 100Mbps. it is quite frustrated as i know my Nightgear router can handle 100Mbps

What is the make/model of the TM's 100mbps router?

lol...just ask them to deliver and get it done, if if you dont like their router, then reuse back yours biggrin.gif

Some get dlink some tplink, depends on location and device availability

Hi Guys,

I am original 5mbps user since 2009, last year been automatically upgraded to 10mbps which still RM149 (exclude gst).

Question : The Free call for landline still there or no more already ?

2nd. I receive the Thank You surprise sms , and goto their website choose the free Jumbo Pack for 12 month since around March, but now still not yet activate on STB.
Does any of you facing similar issue ?

the problem is, i'm only available at home during weekends and they only can come another 2 weeks blink.gif

i cant believe that they cant just up my speed 1st then only change the router

hey guys...

my house is so called fiber ready, with fiber cables
1) outdoor - black from nearby common manhole to my house manhole
2) indoor - white from outside junction box to inside junction box

when TM came to install had a problem with outdoor cable and when they try to pull the underground conduit was blocked, they offered to run new cable for RM400 ohmy.gif
but the cable would be visible at some parts not concealed so I disagreed

since then my developer has dug up the conduit and found the blockage and cleared it, leaving it open so easy for TM to pull a new cable or splice as the current black outdoor cable seems too short. will they charge for this? would it be better for them to pull a new cable in the conduit. will they charge for this?

also internally I would like them to extend the white fiber modem about 2m meters, will they charge for this?

my developer also ran the telephone wiring to the same point but did not terminate the cables with phone jacks (2 nos.) so that I can plug both phone lines into the TM unifi modem. is this chargeable as well?

sorry for all the newb questions but i tried looking for it could not find any real answers...
