QUOTE(Masculine @ Aug 13 2017, 01:24 PM) Hi, Asus or TPLink should solve your problem. I've got some apples like MBP, iPhone& iPad. All of them have no issues with the router. Mine is TPlink AC1200 from TM.I have got the free upgrade from 30mbs to 50mbs for quite sometimes now. I have no issue of getting 50mbs from wired connection but wifi speed stuck around 25-26mbs... Reading from this forum, I need to upgrade the lousy tm router. I'm thinking of getting dual channel Asus or TP link. However, since most of my gadgets are from appple ( iMac, iPad, iPhone) I'm thinking of getting apple Airport Extreme. So would like to get opinion, is airport extreme will solve my wifi issue? Or I should stick to tplink or asus router? Before that, you might want to use 5GHz band which probably will solve the issue. |

QUOTE(Sirmacai @ Sep 5 2017, 04:53 PM) i got the 50 to 100mbps upgrade call from tm. She say she will call me second time to double confirm and then there will be disruption for my internet. Weird, no such thing during my case. After the call & sms, they just came, gave new onu & modem. That's it.So after i got the second call will my internet be down for few days or my connection will be slow? |

QUOTE(icebryanchan @ Sep 22 2017, 08:52 AM) I can't believe my Unifi 30mbps comes in just 3 working days. Installation is fast and the speed and ping is very stable too. I totally change my mindset about TMnet now. Streamyx was pain in the ass but not Unifi. Good to know. Let's hope your luck persistence for a long time. Some are not so lucky, having connection issues. I'm quite lucky, very rarely got problem with Unifi, and also not in the group 28, 47 or 90 like majority here This post has been edited by nikrizal: Sep 22 2017, 09:32 AM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 22 2017, 11:13 AM) Yes, it's good. I hardly have any outage unless it's affecting everyone else. Very stable connection, my sis coming from 4Mbps Streamyx to UniFi 50Mbps now, she said the difference is like sky and earth. Wow! That's great isn't it!Nowadays no longer having such group. |

Streamyx package will now be referred to as ‘Broadband’, while its subscribers are known as pre-unifi customers.

Yes, just leave it switched on 24/7 unless you want to renew the IP. It's recommended to use anti surge socket for damage prevention
QUOTE(vuiloong93 @ Oct 25 2017, 12:24 AM) Hello everyone, If you use switch then the speed will be maintained like the primary sourceI have a question regarding the unifi router and ethernet switch. I am using unifi, DIR - 615 modem, it has 4 Lan ports, the last port is for unifi TV. The other 3 ports are all used. If I want to connect 1 of the 3 ports to a ethernet switch so that it can connect to more computers/laptops, is it doable? Will there be any reduction in internet speed in that particular port? |

I did flash the Australian firmware for the C1200 this afternoon. It reset everything and the default password to access the router is 'admin'. No username though.
the setting quite straightforward except I changed the iptv port back to LAN4. The default was LAN1. IPV6 cannot connect with google DNS. I used ISP allocated DNS to make it working. Other than that the connection seem fine. |

QUOTE(MrSpeedy @ Oct 29 2017, 07:51 PM) Too bad IPv6 cannot connect with Google DNS... Maybe the google dns wasn't working when I tried. It should work because it was working before. I might try again later.Have you tried changing the DHCPv6 and SLACC mode located at IPv6 settings? I used similar ipv6 setting like previous firmware because it was working well. The ipv6 connection I use SLAAC. The LAN setting is SLAAC + Slateless DHCP. Other setting didn't work last time so I didn't try this time. |
