When in UniFi I always think TIME is the holy grail. Finally got the subscription for almost a month, 100Mbps vs 100Mbps. TIME at night time speed will drop to 40 - 70 Mbps and varies greatly.

Try UniFi, most time you'll get 96-100Mbps. 

I thought UniFi calls also using VoIP?

Yes it does but they do not require the use of your router and instead plug to your modem, which leaves you free to use any third party router you want.

Small inconvenience. But most important their international gateway not really superior than unifi.

Further to this topic, while I only have 1 cat5e cable running from my store room where the modem is located to my living room TV cabinet where I install my TP-Link router, would deploying a pair of Cat5 cable splitter to create a "pair" out of the single Cat5 cable worked? 1 out of the pair of split cable to be used to connect the modem in store room to the TP-Link router in TV cabinet; the remaining split cable is used to loop back to the store room and connect to the upstairs Cat5e cable installed in the store room.  Workable?

TM and singapore valve steam dota 2 server peering issue?‏ unifi fibre and streamyx ping from 10ms+- to 100ms+-

it just happen today to unifi fibre and streamyx. tested both. the ping is still normal at early morning today 10ms+- with unifi fibre, and now it is 100ms+- with unifi fibre.

Yes, it is one of the best router from Asus, and the one that you use if you are serious about your networking lol.

That will work but you'll be limited to 100mbps ethernet when you split the cable. Also there may be problems with crosstalk when all 8 pairs are active which they will be when you use the internet upstairs.

My suggestion is to get a good router (no wifi, just router such as a Mikrotik RB750Gr3,) place it in the store room and connect both cables to it. Configure your existing TPLink as an AP. If you use HyppTV, you can even run both your Internet & HyppTV to the living room using one cable.

What websites? Can share the link here for us to check if accessible via Unifi.

I prepared someone might call me an idiot  , but you can try disable your IPv6 and visit the site again.
At least disable IPv6 solved this similar problem for me.

I also don't know why, and I will be very happy if someone could tell me the culprit. 

My primary PC at home was having this issue, while my second PC (also at home, under same network) did not.
My phone and family members' phone did not have this issue.

Example: All browser cannot display this site (as an example) -> http://www.mi.com/my/ from this PC if I enable IPv6.
Other device have no problem with it.
Disabling IPv6 and the problem is gone immediately.

Other websites like samsung malaysia and eurosports also will get this error when trying to view things there.

Yah I upgrade to 100mbps from the old 5mbps plan. Have filed complaint to TM via Unifi website, waiting for the reply. If no reply will file to MCMC too then.

Log a complaint to tm and mcmc...
In the end they ask me to go tm point to complaint again...
And in the end I only can get to rm239 with no voice STD... with Ruby Hypptv...

Man... how do those people get 189only?!?! I keep showing them the screenshot they keep asking me to get the account number...

Do this from the router if possible. You can do it from your phone but much better if you disable IPv6 from your router.

Hmm, no issues with those websites.. IMO, I don't think it's an ipv6 specific problem cuz ipv6 is working on my end (stock router with Aussie firmware) and since it's only a particular phone giving the issue. That be the culprit. You running an anti-virus or firewall capable software on the phone? Disable those first as they could be blocking those urls unintentionally. Had a similar issue but with just "mail.yahoo.com" on a home pc only, yahoo and other related pages worked, just the mail section. Turns out, it was Bitdefender's website filtering firewall that was blocking access to the site. Disabled that feature and page loads instantly.. Bitdefender later issued an update that fixed the bug.

To be exact it is 2 different phones a cheap samsung and a xiomi phone that will have this error. My laptop and my old iphone 5 do not have this problem loading sites...
No i did not install any antivirus as i just got this xiomi phone recently and just only install 2-3 apps. Already factory reset the phone but still same problem...
So what do i do now? Kinda frustrating can't make use of the 30mbps on my phone..
