Somewhere mid 2017, TM auto-upgraded HyppTV to disallow playstore and the ability to install apps, unless you already installed ES Explorer or you disallow the auto-upgrade.

If you really need to install apps onto the STB, might as well buy your own, which is usually more powerful and of better quality.

Need you folks to help me understand this latest bill (19th Dec).

I was previously paying RM179 (excluding GST) under Thank You Surprise for 50M.
I upgraded to RYE 2017 100M on 28th Nov, for RM189 (excluding GST).

I need to pay RM199.33 (excluding GST) or RM211.29 (including GST) for this bill.
Not sure how the pro-rated figures work here?

28 Nov 2017 RM192.75 (1st bill After RYE100 RM189. Charged extra RM50 then rebated RM60 after complain)
28 Dec 2017 RM159.70 (2nd bill after RYE100 RM189)

Hmm. For UniFi, you gotta always remember you pay first and use later.
Hence, technically you have already paid earlier until 18.12 but based on old package pricing. So now pro-rated amount will kick in for 19.11 to 27.11 and 28.11 to 18.12, combination of both plans.

I must admit I didn't calculate for you because I'm on mobile and it's difficult to calculate, I have seen people have helped you on this.

What matters now is your package is accurate, you get RM 200 discount for Internet and no discount for HyppTV. Same as mine RM 99 + RM 90 (RM 60 for Jumbo and RM 30 for Ruby) = RM 189.

If your discount today is only RM 150, then yes you will need to dispute but looks normal to me. TM hardly makes calculation mistake unless discount is not captured correctly.
