I've shifted the post out of LYN to a free wiki page so that players can help with the editing. All they need to do is create an account with pbworks.com and just edit on the wiki with the new information. The link to the wiki is below : http://wowstreamyxconnections.pbworks.com This thread will remain as discussions for problems ppl are facing with in-game latency when on Streamyx lines. eternallove, which area in penang are you at? might be helpful to know since certain areas may lag worst than others.

Currently lagging like hell for all other IPs at Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. Can't get 218.111.xxx.xxx at this time.

60.48.x.x 90% of the time fairly good latency, 300-450ms. [edit] After 12midnight on saturday, 60.48.x.x starts to lag, by 1am I'm getting 1000-1500ms. Reconnect to 60.51.x.x also no difference. This post has been edited by deodorant: Feb 11 2007, 01:11 AM |

Bangsar/Bukit Banadaraya - 60.50/49.......has been horrible late night this past week. After midnight, it tends to hover at or above 1000ms.

I'm a wow europe player so i don't expect to get the same ping as you US players. But ping after midnight has been horrible last 2 nights.
I normally ping my ventrilo server to check how fast my wow will run as both servers are located in the same place and I find that 218.111.17-18(lower numbers are usually better for me).xx usually gives the lowest latency. PJ, SS3 btw. I've been travelling a lot through the ASEAN region this past few weeks and i normally get pings to my vent server of about 220-270ms (that's in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam). So i really don't see why TM can't get their act together and give us solid latency. Tracert shows the problem is not with my exchange but further down the route. Ie.. the bottleneck is just before the packet leaves the TMnet exchange to the foreign router. Tracing route to xx.xx.xx.xx over a maximum of 30 hops 1 112 ms 249 ms 62 ms 219.93.218.177 2 15 ms 15 ms 15 ms 219.93.216.149 3 15 ms 13 ms 15 ms 210.187.133.83 4 15 ms 14 ms 20 ms 58.27.124.50 5 15 ms 14 ms 15 ms 219.93.174.67 6 420 ms 421 ms 421 ms 219.94.9.46 7 499 ms 497 ms 499 ms ge0-1.linx.lon.rapidswitch.com [195.66.224.207] 8 499 ms 483 ms 499 ms ge-2-24.pup.mer.lon.rapidswitch [87.117.214.6] 9 484 ms 497 ms 499 ms xx.xx.xx.xx Trace complete. |

(my ignorance is shining here. So i really don't see why TM can't get their act together and give us solid latency. Thailand + Vietnam = not a lot of ppl on broadband I would think so lines are not full-up. Plus, probably got a better deal out of the international telcos than TMNet. This post has been edited by myremi: Feb 11 2007, 02:38 PM |

Bandar Sungai Long is near Kajang ... still in Klang Valley la. Anyway this morning with 60.48.x.x was fine, then after lunchtime the latency got worse and worse, 1000-ish ms. Tracert shows this:

218.111 is the best 300-500ms, I had that for a few days, constant good ping and regretted I turned off the computer last night. Almost impossible to get back, but I'm gonna keep trying. 218.208 is giving me 750-900ms now 219.94, 219.95, also giving me 800-1000ms with constant timeouts. |

no successful acquisition of ip 218-ish, so far throughout all my dc anc rc efforts, i couldnt get it, not even once... 219.95.** and 219.95.*** -ish ips are NOT playable. AT ALL. With loads of lag spikes, ping exceeding 20k, as well as constant disconnection... |

for shah alam, klang subang jaya and nearby other places the best is 218.111.xxx.xx , with 218.208 seconds... but 219.95. is TOTALLY no WOW...as that was the reason why i quit WOW last time, but givin it another shot of try |

funny I used 219.95 and I got acceptable connection. 600-700ms. Good times good times. I'm on alterac mountains realm (PVP! nothing else comes close) and @ level 11 currently. Using trial but pretty damn tempted to get retail now. hahahaha. Using girl character called Elyanna. Whisper me and we can go partying on quests.

This is a list of barang that close lightning strikes have done to my PC in the last 3 years: - Surge protector x2 (real bullshit) - Power Supply x2 - modem x2 - motherboard x1 Maybe I should go farm some instances for nature resist gear for the PC. 218.xxx.xxx.xxx works well for me, typically 400-600ms latency. 219.xxx..xxx.xxx is typically 600-1000ms these days QUOTE(myremi @ Feb 21 2007, 08:58 AM) I like to play WoW during rain times. Got 218.* once early this month with 250-500ms smooth. but since then i've never been able to get a 218 IP again, even after writing a script to reconnect dsl for 18 hours. |

The Streamyx Tech told me that it's usually hardier than the newer versions of the modem. This is a list of barang that close lightning strikes have done to my PC in the last 3 years: - Surge protector x2 (real bullshit) - Power Supply x2 - modem x2 - motherboard x1 Before I got a better surge protector, I was using a cheapo Voltage Regulator. Now, ended up using a Belkin 7-plug surge protector (nearly RM200) plus UPS (no choice after my 1st PC went kaput after a year). For my first PC, had to changed out everything except for the Leadtek Graphic Card, Intel Chip and the above modem. This is through almost daily rainstorms + lightning strikes in Kuching. |

to those getting 200-300ms, dont be fooled as its just the new latency meter (even since WoW 2.0 pre bc patch if im not mistaken) being more "accurate".
what does that accurate mean? basically if your in an area with like no one, your latency will most definately drop to 200-300 ms (provided your on a good IP range and so on) once you start having activities, such as orgrimmar/ironforge AH, or starting to PVP like in AV or instance/raiding etc, your latency will rise to 300-500, on avg 400+ ms. no matter how good lagmyx go its not possible to lower it any further due to the distance, and the retardedly congested gateway lagmyx is on. but know this, even good isp from singapore/australia for example, the best they can go is around 200ms anyways, i know its quite a huge difference (especially to pvp enthusiast), but there isnt really anything we can do till lagmyx steps up and stop suckin. =edit= oh and to adress with the topic: 218.111.xx.xx = around 400ms 218.208.xx.xx = around 500-600ms (but have certain issues in connecting to certain websites, or ventrilo servers, either timeouts or high ping spikes, but for WoW ok for most of the time) 219.94.xx.xx = around 400-500 ms (sometimes as good as 218.111, sometimes just a bit laggier of around 500ms) 219.95.xx.xx = around 500-1k++ ms (total BS ip range, no matter whats your purpose. it only worked miracly during the underwater cable break [the taiwan quake], having around 400-500ms ping, dont know how that happened, but it did. the moment the cable is restored, back to BS status.) and i am from KL, taman intan baiduri (it is in between selayang jaya and kepong) This post has been edited by Quazacolt: Feb 26 2007, 01:32 PM |

QUOTE(Kidicarus @ Feb 11 2007, 05:53 AM) I'm a wow europe player so i don't expect to get the same ping as you US players. But ping after midnight has been horrible last 2 nights. Ah, a fellow EU WoW player. Which server/side do you play? Haven't played much recently due to CNY/Work. Connection wise it varies a lot regardless of IP from my experience. Regardless of the IP number, it usually comes down to how the time of day. Mornings for us are best generally, but probably cause I play on a busy server (Stormreaver). Connection is worst around 10pm-3am for gaming (I work nights so am able to sneak most of my gaming then Anyway, back to being on topic: Kuching, Sarawak 1mb Streamyx Stampin 60.52.*.* - Good most times. Best around 3am-11am - 300-800ms (Considered good for me 124.82.*.* - 50/50 with this range. It's either great or completely laggy. Info probably won;t be that handy unlss you're a EU player though. Can be annoying that my guild generally raids from 3am-6am sometimes |

If you want to get something done about the lag, perform tracerts and send them to streamyx. Whenever you get pings in excess of 4k, and where you get constant disconnects and lag spikes, it's pointing to lost packets. Lost packets = bad for wow.
Details on how to do the relevant tracerts can be found in the technical forums of the wow website. A lot of the dropped packets, for me at least, are happening before it leaves routers owned by streamyx.. typically 219.94.xx.xx. Call streamyx 1300889515 and moan to them. Get a case number after you've told them you've gone through all the usual troubleshooting BS. Send them emails at streamyx@tm.net.my with the case number in the heading. If i'm the only one complaining to TMnet, then they won't feel the need/pressure to do anything about it. But if more of you guys make some noise then maybe they'll actually find out what's going on and fix it. |

Come to think about it, one day I had enough, especially when people talk about lag and yet have nothing else to say except the word "lag". No IPs, no tracerts, nothing and they refuse to make their case with streamyx. Maybe I didn't achieve this at all with the information posted up. Then again, as mentioned in the 1st post, this thread is to post up IP information and it was to try it out (to see if people find it useful). What to do with this info, well, hopefully it gives a glimpse of hope for ppl who could try redialing or it could act as a reference for them when they experience lag. This is basically a call to arms. If more of us actually make some noise then maybe we'll become loud enough for tmnet to hear. ps. When you call them tell them to shove that stupid bandwidth test up their arses as it has absolutely no impact on latency. As a gamer I would rather have a stable low latency connection then the bandwidth. |

After 3 days of very very bad connection, 5-7 March, last night was the first night of true WoW bliss. 219.94, connected at 300-400ms the whole night. Went from lvl54 to 15 bars into lvl55 at a single sitting.
WoW on a good connection is orgasmic! |

As much as I agree with you and sympathize with you on this, I'm going to have to ask you to start another thread to keep arguments to a minimum on this thread. Since I'm not a moderator, I'm asking as nicely as I think I can. It is basically your (and that is everyone who has to suffer dropped packets and high latency) duty, if the services are not up to scratch, to make a complaint to tmnet. This is basically a call to arms. If more of us actually make some noise then maybe we'll become loud enough for tmnet to hear. ps. As a gamer I would rather have a stable low latency connection then the bandwidth. And if you're expecting it to be my duty to rally for everyone, I'm going to have to pass on that because I get frustrated easily with hitting brickheads who know the obvious answers but are not taking it. But like I said, start another thread. Or better yet, think of a way to lead the changes needed. Posting up complaints on a forum that Streamyx and Telekom will most likely not read is not going to help matters, or even calling them when their helpdesk is known not to record down case numbers or that they can't deal with all the technical details. For everyone else, this thread is not a Call-of-Arms thread. You can head over to the Network and Broadband Users for that or until someone post up another thread in WoW. Also, please do not assume that I can do anything and everything. I'm a puny female, remember that. |

QUOTE(myremi @ Mar 9 2007, 10:24 AM) As much as I agree with you and sympathize with you on this, I'm going to have to ask you to start another thread to keep arguments to a minimum on this thread. Since I'm not a moderator, I'm asking as nicely as I think I can. Apologies for hijacking your thread. I am not trying to be confrontational, it's just that it's very annoying to see whine posts here which do not provide any further information. As it is, it appears that, at least in my case, the traditional reliable/fast IP ranges have been acting really strangely this past week which means that a lot of the information posted in the past can now be considered out of date. QUOTE Also, please do not assume that I can do anything and everything. I'm a puny female, remember that. I don't think i'm asking you to do anything, I was referring to the 'tidak apa' malaysian attitude of just whining and not doing anything proactive. If anything it's a plea to them to try to find out what the cause of their problem is and to do something about it.And since when does being female mean you're any less capable than any of the other males we have lurking in this male dominated forum? Kudos for trying to provide a useful service on this forum but wouldn't it be nice if there was no need for a thread like this? |

Depends. Whether we can play on a good line or not, it's still worthwhile to see what IPs are good connections to play on. It's not going to reveal to us the reason behind the lag but it's the easiest quick-rule-of-thumb to know whether you're in for a good session of WoW or not.
Yes, we are all fedup with Streamyx. Problem has always been how to present a united front and how to persuade TMNet to improve Streamyx. Anyway, for the lag this week, I don't think it's all contributed by the line but one of the international connections out. Some friends on Oz and NZ were saying that they were experiencing weird lag as well and that their ISP mentioned it was an outage on one of the gateways out. Only thing to do atm is to wait it out and see what happens. Then again, Streamyx has posted up a notice about service interruptions in certain areas during 5-March till 16-March. And everytime an area goes down, the entire connection nationwide slows down anyways. As for that statement being female, it was a cheap shot to diffuse the situation a bit. It did the trick I think. Hmm...and I think I wrote a bit too much. Oopsy. |

well i remember last time when i called them and talked about the constant bad tracert i get from TmNets servers and it goes something like this:
<after lengthy talks argueing its actually TMnets fault and not my machine> me : ok i have done some trace route and it shows that the signals are jammed at Tmnets server before reaching out. Tmnet guy : erm... what is trace route? ~ at this point i feel pointless ~ Tmnet guy : anyway, can you please do that check i told u about just now again? (after checking 2 time already) me : nevermind. |

Sometimes getting 218.111 and 218.208 is a big difference. Unless 218.111 is starting to have problems too. When you post the 1st number only, you're just posting which country the IP is from. Hehe! Well, as a general rule of thumb, that's the 1st number anyways. It would be nice to get up to the 3rd number but that might involve a lot of recording for everyone so I usually ask up to the 2nd set of numbers. Ta! |

guys, i'm going to stop editing for a bit. the in-game lag is extremely weird these days.
morning and afternoon are ok with 300-500 ms so it's bearable. but suddenly in the evening starting 8 pm onwards, it's shooting up to easily 2K secs. when that happens, log out of WoW and reconnect back. sometimes that helps but only in current situation. also, don't run thottbot or wowhead in the background, especially wowhead. |

QUOTE(skincladalien @ Mar 21 2007, 12:17 AM) be considerate la, the packet has to travel across the sea you know... it's not a thing about being considerate. nitrofang is right about that server. could be that it's having a bottleneck of some sort. there was a LYN reader that could contact the TMNet team managing the firewall to send feedback to AT&T. anyone remembers?pray that they host a server in australia lo. u try ping some aus website most are <100ms as for Oz server, don't hope. more expensive to host it there than in the US. Added on March 21, 2007, 8:35 amguys, when you're posting, please put down the time that it's usually fast. some of the IPs seem to be fast morning + afternoon but slows down drastically in the evenings + late night. also post which server you play on. Crowded servers tend to have a different latency compared to the lower population servers. I'd suggest you try to log into a lower population server and see if there's an improvement to the game. Only to check if the line improves. I'm not asking you to transfer lah. This post has been edited by myremi: Mar 21 2007, 08:36 AM |

Just to report in, Section 11 PJ, my IP range is 219.95.*.*
I get like 4-5 digit latency from 1am onwards with massive packet loss and frequent disconnects. |

I think the best way to solve this is to get some big guy (or his children) to get addicted to WoW. Bet we don't even need to complain and everything will be lovely daisy :b
Like me, my problems with playing in a CC that refused to patch WoW until about 3-4 days after the patch ended when I moved to a CC where their employees are playing WoW. They even auto update all the addons. |

guys/gals, even if it is an AT&T problem, it's only localised to a few IP ranges (streamyx included). i proxy my connection through a local server and i get 250-350ms no problem. i connect directly right after that and i get 2000ms!
whatever it is, tmnet needs to figure it out. even if it means working with AT&T or whoever in between to get it done. they can't expect us to call the people in the US directly. :\ sorry myremi, for hijacking your thread. edit: 3rd block was 16something. actually each set of numbers don't really mean anything. IP subnets can also be segregated within those sets themselves. This post has been edited by myuu: Mar 24 2007, 10:36 AM |

the last time we had a problem with an AT&T server, it was around the quake time. i have to dig LYN for that particular posting but I did remember that the feedback wasn't that positive.
as for AT&T, they are the largest telcos around and probably Telekom has had joint agreements with them for awhile, if the most recent agreement to develop local IPs is any indication. no prob about hijacking the thread as long as it doesn't go into a promotion on how-to making complaints to streamyx. i tend to crit ppl with text when it grats my nerves a bit. regarding your remark about 219.95.*, i suspect that if we go down and check the 3rd portion of the IP address (the * bit), we could literally nail down where the problems occur. I'm not sure what the 3rd potion represents though, whether it's the physical location of the phone exchange or what. too much effort for me to go and crunch numbers and come up with stats. especially when majority of WOW LYN readers don't quite post up the relevant info. |

this is reply from one of the blue in bliz forum.
Hello all, It seems like the problem is resolved for most players but since there are still a few, we will create a sticky to help consolidate the information. Thus far most traces collected appear to be having problems nearing AT&T's routers: 14 * att.sjc03.atlas.cogentco.com (154.54.11.238) 254.117 ms 295.352 ms refer thread http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.h...&sid=1&pageNo=7 and yes. the problem is actually faced not only by malaysians, but from also from australia, philipines, south and east US. |

The ping is going up and down. I was able to get a nice stable ping of 400-450 around 5pm but at 11pm my ping is now at 1100-1200 + packetloss (30000, then disconnect). Missing a lot of raids. :/

Latency is very good on thursday, around 400~600 all day long, and no 1am lagging shit.
So i thought i can tmnut(or at&t?) fixed the problem. but then i was wrong,now latency is back to usual speed(700-1000in game),and 1am lagging shit is there again. i doubt is at&t problem though,just look at this: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 60.49.42.xxx ip,pic taken at around 1.30am |

Hmm...out of curiosity, do you guys use a firewall to block unwanted pings?
One of the things I used to do was to check how many "intrusions" came in via the IP I've logged on. Certain IPs get massive amounts of pings. By massive, I mean every 1-2 ms, there's a ping to your IP via one port. Whenever this happened, I used to redial up until I get a relatively "ping-less" line. And that usually means I can game for a bit longer. |

QUOTE(DarkSaviour @ Mar 26 2007, 03:16 PM) it got worst for me tonight.I'm from Damansara Jaya, Petaling Jaya and my IP options are: 218.111.x.x (was good and reliable before the earthquake) 60.49.x.x (usually bad) 60.50.x.x (usually bad) 60.51.x.x (good ~400ms) 60.52.x.x. (good~400ms) 60.53.x.x. (Good~400ms) on a good night, it can go as low as 277ms with IP 60.51, 60.52, or 60.53. Tonight everything is f***ed up, I'm getting frequent disconnects its not even funny. Averaging 2-4kms latency on the good IPs. |

hmmm...then probably just mind. between 7-9 pm, had guildies who couldn't see heals and buffs and were stuck in one place. but later on, it got better.
although we did have people disconnecting and mobs bugging out in Black Morass. bugger. Added on April 10, 2007, 10:54 amhmm...line seems to improve significantly over the past few days. how's everyone else? especially those on the west coast. nagflar, you need to be more specific laa...
Like where you are connecting from, what service you use, then go and do tracert (see below). Without those important information, a fortune teller has a better chance to help you than us laa How to do tracert (if you didnt know how to already): - Click Start, choose Run option - type: cmd - type: tracert -h 20 logon.us.worldofwarcraft.com > c:\tracewow.txt - close window, go to explorer C: drive, look for the file named "tracewow.txt" - Go to LYN, then copy and paste the contents of the file here This post has been edited by limsk: Apr 12 2007, 09:40 AM |

this is all guessworks but i think it bear some truth to the recent degrading in line quality (again):
maxis recently released a broadband services in KL whereby ppl can get a free router and have wireless broadband connection to their pc. From what i know is that broadband service in malaysia is monopolised by Telekom and therefore those bandwidth maxis is using is leased from telekom. Due to the usual lameness of Telekom (more customer and less hardware upgrade) i bet those bandwith leased to maxis are the bandwith that we have been having for the past year. and if i am right it explains why recently the 218.111 have literally went from heaven to hell. So game on tmnet, death to quality improvement via competition. all hail monopoly. |

Depending on the server you're on, it also depends on the server reaching "critical mass" to cause "significant lag spikes". That's what happened yesterday around 6 pm - 8 pm on Aman'Thul (Oceanic server). The latency jumped from 400 ms to 2.5k. After that, it returned back to normal. With US servers, I've no experience but it could be the same. I'm not sure. This post has been edited by myremi: Apr 16 2007, 04:23 PM |

Hi;
Just wanted to add that recently (for the last 3 weeks) i have been complaining to Streamyx regarding the high latency issue (at all hours for me =( ) on my IP range that started about 4 weeks ago... I was shocked to find out that despite all the complaining I hear on the forums, Streamyx tells me I'm the only one who has complained to them about it... being told that "just one person" not enough to quantify a serious investigation is really really upsetting me (more then usual for streamyx). So I'd like to ask that everyone who has had bad experience with the wow server latency (e.g. 600 ms ++) please call them up and lodge a report and be stubbon about keeping that report open until they realise that their advertising about how great Streamyx is for online gaming is utter bull for any MMORPG worth paying for (I actually got a tech that suggested I switch to a local korean based MMORPG since my oversea line is bad... wtf). Location: USJ "Good IP": 60.51.xxx.xxx (used to get 300-500ms for this line now its a nightmare of lowest being 800ms = no raiding =( ) Rest IP : 60.48.xxx.xxx (rubbish get 1k minimum for me) 60.50.xxx.xxx (same problem) 60.52.xxx.xxx (ditto) |

Using 219.94.xxx.xxx at Setapak. Low lag spikes but it's still the most consistant for me.

Back then it was just the onset of worsening latency, and after months of putting up with the laggy gameplay I finally gave up and tried calling them up and complaining about the situation. The representative on the other end of the line told me that Blizzard was--no joke--blocking traffic from Malaysia, and they could not do anything about it. What a load of bull. He didn't even bother forwarding my complaint, or even look into the matter, but simply shrugged and pushed the blame to another party. A friend of mine lodged a similar complaint, demanding to know why the service was so bad, and the person on the other end of the line claimed ignorance and avoided giving him an answer. TMNet is touting their broadband service as THE solution to high-speed internet tasks in Malaysia, including large file downloads and smooth online gaming, neither of which are entirely possible, with the throttling of bittorrent bandwidth--even for legitimate and legal downloads--and this latency problem with WoW. Sadly the only solution now is to work around the problem by hoping you hit the right IP, but it doesn't have to be this way. Call them up and complain, I'm sure the WoW playerbase in Malaysia is large enough to make themselves heard |

I am sneaky. Rather than have them make the complaint for me in their system, I do it myself. That way, they are forced to deal with me, whether they like it or not. Because, I have a complaint number. Doesn't solve the problem but it gets them to put more effort into it. Whether it's a good effort or not, it's pretty much debatable. Suffice to say, if you were asked to nominate any company or a quality service award, TMNet would be pretty far down the list.
I'm sure of the tens of thousands they employ there must be some good employees but the front line staff are incredibly unhelpful. ignorant, and some downright moronic. Call their help line and list all the bullshit excuses you get, ranging from "your modem got problem" to "the sun shined too hot today and the heat affected cable traffic speeds" all of course are not TMNet's problem. |

Wangsa Maju, Setapak. Been using 60.49.xxx.xxx, only ip range that is fast for me, rest are terrible. Also I've had to change different ip ranges a number of time; initially only 218.208.xxx.xxx, then 218.111.xxx.xxx, to 219.95.xxx.xxx., now 60.49.xxx.xxx for the last 4 months.

Kuala Lumpur,
Bandar Sri Damansara, 219.95.x.x= sucks big time above 1.5k to 2k 60.48.x.x= sucks above 1k 60.51.x.x= average 500-1k ms, playable for me. 60.53.x.x= not much experience with this, got it few times, but better then those sucky ones. 219.94.x.x= the most consistent and fastest so far, average 600-800ms. that is until 1 month ago... I've Been a Wow Player for like 2 years, online gamer for more then 5 years. I know that different ips give different internet performance back in 2003-2004. and until 2 months ago, i lodge a report for my day/night problem, ( 8-10am till 6-7pm no connection, after that until morning is generally good, but i don't get disconnected from streamyx, i'm still connected with the same ip all the while, just no data get sent thru.) they fixed the problem after that, takes them like....... 3 weeks.... consider that they really fixed it, i should be celebrating.. but then, another problem came in.... i got locked down to 219.95.x.x range.... no matter how many times i reconnect, using router or direct, how many days i tried.... i'm just locked out from the others, what i get is just 219.95.x.x althou all my downloads, emails, and even WoW still works, but they are slow, and the ping time is bad. i've been calling the so-called "Customer-CARELINE", and i keep calling ever since, 1 month plus has gone by, my complaint only gets me reply of the operators, giving me explanation that means nothing to me, and each time i'm hoping they will get better, maybe after those "Technicians" tweak a little something here and there, i get something different then 219.95.x.x but it is unresolved until now, sometimes i'm just curious if they really do "care" about those "customer"..... BTW, i did keep my manners when i'm calling, i didn't get angry and start shouting, so i think i'm not in their "hate-list" right??? you know, those that they hate and they do something within their power to slow you down or whatever... |

strange that all taiwan traffic is going through those servers. when comparing to surfing US sites, telekom doesn't restrict.
P2P issue you reckon? |

Not that strange when you consider that, those IP addresses may be what's considered their 'backbone'.
Anyway, we can conclude that it's not a 'firewall' issue. |

You can also use it to show that the cause is not "Inter ISP connectivity" inetnum: 219.93.168.0 - 219.93.168.255 netname: INFRA-TMNET descr: TMNET country: MY admin-c: TA35-AP tech-c: TA35-AP mnt-by: TM-NET-AP status: ASSIGNED NON-PORTABLE changed: hm-changed@apnic.net 20070209 source: APNIC changed: anieayop@tm.net.my 20050629 role: TMNET IP Administrators address: Level 17, TM Annexe, address: Jalan Pantai Baru, address: 50672 Kuala Lumpur. country: MY phone: +603-22406120 phone: +603-22402118 fax-no: +603-22402126 e-mail: ainols@tm.com.my trouble: abuse@tm.net.my admin-c: AS115-AP admin-c: SM135-AP tech-c: AS115-AP tech-c: SM135-AP nic-hdl: TA35-AP mnt-by: TM-NET-AP changed: hm-changed@apnic.net 20070209 source: APNIC |

how's the connection in bangsar/mid valley area today?
yesterday every IP is equally lag. Varies between 1 to 3k ms. Can play at all, and gives a lot of free kills to the opposite faction, as I cant respond fast enough due to the damn lag. This post has been edited by lexasp: Apr 30 2007, 03:52 PM |

could be deliberate network latency. bleargh.
anyway, try to see if you can get 124.82 or 124.84 . both seem to be ok for me but sometimes morning and afternoon is fine but lagging like hell in evening. |

I notice that connection to various server also matters. Not sure what that means.
Tested on 18th May 2007. Bandar Seri Damansara 219.95.x.x = Bad > latency above 2k 60.48.x.x= latency between 800ms to 1400ms 60.51.x.x= superb. average 350 - 520ms 124.82.xxx = avr 600ms to 1200ms Having said that, my connection on 60.51.xx.xx usually gives me 350 - 520ms connected to Gorgonash server, to Proudmoore, i get 700 to 1k ms. Related? |

218.111.* has high packet loss, tho tmnet doesn't seem to realize it.
60.49.* PoS 60.50.8 PoS 60.51.* Was ok, these days its not that good. 60.52.* PoS 60.53 Was ok as well, tho hard to get on it now. Contacted tmnet for the past couple of weeks, explaining to them the situation, providing numerous traceroutes and stats. Gist of it was telling me to shag myself and/or contact [upstream x] and file a complaint. I guess as customers, we have jack rights and if theres a problem, we have to run around the globe and sort it for them. Unfortunately, they do not seem to realize, international saturation on their routing paths is *their* problem, not ours. The simple fact that some ip ranges have less traffic congestion than others, and the fact that almost all their upstream providers are getting congested means they need to look at their routing and also lease more upstream to ease congestion on international traffic. Sadly I think the problem is not only congestion, but its complicated with incompetancy on their part, poor maintenance, terrible routing and annoying customer service. If it is indeed our problem, then lets take it to heart and flood them with complaint emails, calls and let them see the light. Please, lets truely make it our problem and start helping them sort it out. Whatever shitty ip range you are one, take a traceroute, pick some major upstreams that are with tmnet as well, and take traceroutes on those as well (very good chance its shitty as well), and submit it enmasse. Some upstream providers: 1) www.nac.net 2) www.teleglobe.net 3) www.att.net (what wow servers mainly use) 4) www.opentransit.net AFAIK a good majority of our int traffic goes through these providers, and we are pretty much shit out of luck going through 'em. We had another upstream provider, alter.net which was ok sometimes, but tmnet does not seem to use it anymore or cut its lease with 'em. Why are these monkeys removing upstreams and now I hear we've got 4mb packages...... |

218.208.X.X = Best. 200-400ms whole day. 218.111.X.X = High packet loss. 219.95.X.X = Worst. 219.95.2XX.X = High latency (400-800ms) but no packet loss hence no lag spikes in game. |

QUOTE(kelvint83 @ Jun 1 2007, 06:33 AM) coz they probably have a huge flood of complaints that they probably don't know how or where to start.and i can imagine them just presenting the case to the ISP and waiting for the ISP to do something so can you imagine TMNet doing something about it? don't think so. |

219.94 is still the best for Setapak. Currently playing around 300-700ms on Illidan. It lagged for an hour or 2 and now it's back to normal.
Edit: Lag mode ON at 9.30pm. 800-1500ms atm This post has been edited by TristanX: Jun 4 2007, 09:34 PM |

60.49.xxx.xxx best for my area, Wangsa Maju s4. 218.208.xxx.xxx is comparable to 60.49 but experience short lag spikes sometimes in game. Other IPs are terrible, lags and delays over 1-2 seconds.

60.53.x.x is the only playable IP, but quality varies widely. 300-400ms on good days, 400-700ms is normal, 700-1100ms on bad days. 60.50.x.x typically 1100ms and way above. 124.x.x.x also typically 1100ms and way above. My line quality may have something to do with it, have heard from friends here who consistently get 200ms on 60.53.x.x |

60.53.X.X - totally unplayable... average 1.8k ms or above. Enjoy more DCs!!! 60.51.X.X - lag... still playble(soloable, no raid). average 800+ ms. 218.111.X.X - good ip!!! 5XX - 7XX ms. Man, this is really HARD for me to get this ip class in my place. Another thing, I found out that I can get average 3XX ms(60.51.X.X) in early morning. Must be TMnutz bandwidth problems. |

just for info, dont know if it works for other but it did for my friend...
my friend using Streamyx 1M and play with him lag like hell, always getting red latency bar more then 1000ms... so he call up TMNut and ask to check. They ask him to clear the cookies and temp files and now is latency not going more then 1000ms, mostly around 400ms - 500ms... so give it a try and see... |

Still missing are info from : Kelantan, Pahang. There may have been players posting about those locations but as they didn't mention which town/suburb they live in, I didn't update the main page. Can players from Kelantan and Pahang please provide feedback? Thanks. |

For the past 1 month ++ I've been playing WoW on US:Gorgonnash, this is what I've been getting: 60.51.x.x 60.52.x.x 60.53.x.x generally good, below 800 ms, as low as 240 ms on 60.51.x.x lastnight! I generally reboot router modem a million times to get on these IP ranges :/ 218.111.x.x - 1k++ to 2k++ 218.x.x - sucks as above 60.50.x.x and 60.49.x.x - 900ms to nearly 2k ms Sigh. raydenex, u're probably in one of the areas where 60.52 doesn't lag at all. that one is damn slow for most areas.

QUOTE(DracoEvo @ Jun 12 2007, 02:36 PM) I think what package you're on has nothing to do with TM's own physical links to overseas. Doesn't mean you subscribe 4mbps package TM put you on some privileged dedicated pipeline to US. Or permanently assign you an IP range that has consistent 50ms latency to any online game. Just won't happen. Not this lifetime. At CSC where I work, we're on VPN to CSC's network in Aust. Generally my connection to anything in the States is good. Too bad can't WoW here |

Fast IP Connection IP Number: 60.53.XXX.XXX, 60.54.XXX.XXX, 60.52.XXX.XXX, 60.49 (on ocassion). Latency around 215ms (lowest) to 990 ms (highest). Time that you connect that for sure gets the fast IP: Weekday: Depends to days.. Line is good after 8pm. Slow IP Connection IP Number: 219.XXX or any 2 series line.. Latency reach 4K minimum. Latest: Last 2 days, latency on the fast IP connection is roughly 20K ms cause me to dc every time I log in. Slow IP is triple that amount and practically cannot do anything, just waiting to be dc after 5 minutes of no action. |

Oh well, i dont know wtf they did but lines in JB are screwed up again. Only reliable ones are 218 (good all day except from 4pm to 6pm and 1am to 2 am) and 124.xx (not as fast as 218 but if you are getting a lot of spikes on 218 this will certainly feel faster.
As of now the 60 series (49/50/52) are all bad all day. |

Modem only protected by voltage regulator. so far ok. if they die, it's usually from long-term use or dust. >> |

Hi, I have a question for those who are from Tabuan Jaya, Kuching as well.
I'm living in Tabuan Jaya and my streamyx is 1Mbps. With good IP (124.82 or 60.53) I'm geting latency around 400-550ms. I'd like to know what latency you guys getting to make comparison. Sorry but the latency is not reported for Tabuan Jaya at the front page that's why I'm asking here. So please tell me your latency and your streamyx package if you reside in Tabuan Jaya. QUOTE(mysticark @ Jun 29 2007, 11:57 AM) Hi, I have a question for those who are from Tabuan Jaya, Kuching as well. who say don't have? go check again and read properly. So please tell me your latency and your streamyx package if you reside in Tabuan Jaya. as of this time, 124.82 is slightly better than 60.53 which is starting to give lag spikes in game. 400-550 ms is already good lah. there were times last month it hit 700-900 ms. raiding also with that lag. but since last week, there's been weird lag spikes happening for all streamyx package owners. everyone is feeling it and complaining. For package, I downgraded from 1Mbps to 512kbps package after having a lot of disconnects. Change 2 phonelines with better wiring. Speed no difference coz the phone lines in the older part of Tabuan Jaya got problems anyway because it's so old. Even normal phone calls got problem. If you're in the newer part of Tabuan Jaya, shouldn't be a problem or as bad as those who live in older housing areas. |

Thanks Myremi, for your reply.
My house is built around 8 years ago, hmm new or not I don't know LOL. But relatively new compared to those which have been built more than decades ago. Wish I had decent connection like those of US players, the latency has too much impact on us casters. |

Got a question here. This started over the weekend (Sat nite) - when I connect to a so called good IP, its beautiful within the 1st five minutes. 400 - 500ms. After that, it somehow degrades to 600, then 800, then 1K, then 1.2K, etc. My guildies tell me its packet loss. This is happening not only on good (218.111.x.x / 60.48.x.x) and bad (219.95.x.x / 60.50.x.x) IPs for me.
1. How the hell do I avoid / fix this? 2. Will getting a fixed IP help solve this problem once and for all? This post has been edited by saingau: Jul 31 2007, 02:09 PM |

1. cheapest way : wait it out.
2. maybe but this is streamyx we're talking about. additional costs urgh. having problems this week connecting to vent server located in Oz. not only me but others in Asia like Singapore and Philipines. No major impact to WoW but sometimes lag spikes on 6 - 9pm. After 9 pm, no more lag spikes but consistently slower than before. |

Use Trace route and report to them. I've found out that only certain areas are affected, other streamyx users are still fine with WoW. There can be many reasons;
1. These certain areas are congested and surgical separation or automatic rerouting is occuring. We're currently using backup routing with 17 hops to reach any WoW server (previously 11 hops). 2. Everywhere is congested - certain areas are given priorities and the others aren't. Most likely, it's #2 because TM/Streamyx has done so before in the past. With the new 4mbps being promoted like a cheap prostitute, the 512/1mb will be given the lowest quality of service whereby customers will be forced to upgrade. This is how the Tech industry works and Streamyx is running out of options and new subscribers. I won't be the least bit surprised if this becomes the permanent arrangement for non-corporate subscribers, who tends to be ever so quiet when it comes to lodging official complaints. |

it got better on sunday morning/afternoon i think. but maybe for certain areas. if you call streamyx helpdesk, there's a voice msg stating that they were facing some technical difficulties since friday? from what a guildie told me anyways.
try to restart your modem now and see if that works. Because for me the legendary ip's such as 218.111 is actually hard to get around Taman Megah area , while the legendary ip at kota damasara is 128. something which is playable but the first 3 overseas hops are above 500 so while playable defininately not long term. both range are pretty much well latency, around 300-500. i tried the vb script, dont think it work now unles someone can edit it to have a timer to reconnect every maybe 30sec. i think the loop is too fast and tm block it.. |

@tarzan15
Mostly, its given by the servers. For example, Penang one mostly given by Brickfield Servers. Well, I dont see mine as a problem. Cause Im the only one using in the country side of Penang. @all Hmm. Have anyone notice that certain ip like 60.51.x.x or 60.53.x.x is connected slower then 124.82.x.x to US or other countries. |

219.94 is still the best connection for Setapak. 219.95, 218.111 and 218.208 having ridiculous lag at 10am.
Edit: 13/9: 219.94 is lagging. 219.95 has no lag atm Edit: 17/9: Seems like every IP has no lag. Setapak IPs = 219.95, 219.94, 218.111 and 218.208 This post has been edited by TristanX: Sep 17 2007, 12:44 PM |

I just moved to Seri Kembangan. 60.48.x.x is the only IP I can get, and it's 500-ms ping ... IF I wake up at 6am to play. By 9.30am the ping goes to 900 ms. At night, it's 1,200-3,000ms, and worst part is that the connection drops regullaryl - super annoying.

kota kemuning here, used to play but stop around half a year ago.
i think in kota kemuning, it depends on which area you're in. normally oncidium's connection suck, and it gets better when you move closer to bukit rimau. |

Normally i use www.myipaddress.com to check which ip im on when connected to streamyx. Its a known fact that the performance of the connection varies depending on the ipaddress & your location. For example, for people in my area, a good ipaddress to have is 219.94.xx.xx. This is the most stable connection and has the least lag/spikes unlike a 219.95.xx.xx connection.

while i was attempting to obtain 218.x.x.x ip, i was doin frequent disconnection and reconnections. after several tries, my connection stops responding. my router will pop up a message saying "unable to connect to pppoe" kinda thing. then i will either have to switch off the power to reset my router and my modem, or to wait for like 5mins or more to regain the ability to reconnect. then after a few tries, same thing happens again.
anyone experiencing this kind of issue? |

QUOTE(LiteBulb @ Oct 26 2007, 11:58 AM) while i was attempting to obtain 218.x.x.x ip, i was doin frequent disconnection and reconnections. after several tries, my connection stops responding. my router will pop up a message saying "unable to connect to pppoe" kinda thing. then i will either have to switch off the power to reset my router and my modem, or to wait for like 5mins or more to regain the ability to reconnect. then after a few tries, same thing happens again. im havung this problem too since 2 days ago.. zzzanyone experiencing this kind of issue? |

124.82.xx.xx used to be best IP address for my area (kuching sarawak) but now it's laggy with frequent lag spike. My friend in the same area is experiencing lag too so it's most probably ISP side problem.
Can anyone suggest what I can do to resolve this problem? I got an important raid this coming Friday >.< |

There is nothing much you could do. Moving to maxis or Celcom means you'll be increasing the latency. I mean its wireless. So forget it. If you are a healer , and you are a lagger , you'll get your @$$ whipped (I mean you'll be kicked out of the guild , etc..Trust me). My advice is to call TM and complain. Just pray that they will resolve the issue ASAP. The other option is to use a lease line or 'SDSL' But then its usually overpriced.

after 12am, the ping time gone stable like normal... Anyone notice that even thought you can manually ping the WoW server with a nice low ping of 230ms+, but when connected to the game, your latency shoot up to 500ms+?
For me, i can get a nice ping below 250ms but when connect to the game it shoot up to 500ms+. |

I've been getting spiky latency the last 2 weeks, anyone hv that problem? The worse part is that even with Gamepath it doesn't help. >.>
Sometimes latency shots up to 4Kms.. yesterday the vent ping was at 6Kms in middle of Archimonde fight. I had to sit out on the fight.. lag on archi = death = soul charge = raid wipe... :'( Been using 60.54.xx.xx and it has been stable until the last 2 weeks...sighs.. what did streamyx do again.........? Really dependant on what IP address you get. I usually get better latency (300-600 ms, usually yellow. Offpeak hours will be 250-300 ms) with IP addresses on 60.xx.xx.xx and 218.111.xx.xx. Really horrible latency with 118.xx.xx.xx (1k-2k+ ms) and 218.208.xx.xx (700+ ms) Will just keep reconnecting till I get my desired IP. Takes some time, usually it's very hard to get 60 IP range during 7-9pm at my area (USJ)

Oo I'm envious.. I have never ever get 218.xx.xx connection. All i get is.. 60.54 or 219.95 or 124. .......
So far the connection is slowly degrading.. day by day I'm looking at increasing latency. I did try a whole day (i'm serious) of connecting and disconnecting modem but nvr hv i ever tasted 218.xx .. although I do get can't connect to tmnet when i do repeated reconnection -.-' Yes, I'm using Gamepath but it doesn't help. I've been kicked out of raid today bcause I can't tank Mount Hyjal trash. Why? Latency spiked to 5Kms once the trash start pouring in. And then the d/c and more d/c. So.. any idea how I could get 218.xx ? |

For me these two ip is the only one that offers decent latency to WoW.
1. 60.49.xxx.xxx - Best IP for me, i get in game latency from 280ms to 550ms. 2. 218.111.xxx.xxx - Good latency, but has very frequent small lag spike. Remind me of watching VCD in a 486sx machine. |

Kelana Jaya here.
I'm not on WoW, but I play on a NWN server in the US. Lag spikes are horrendous now. Can't play at all. Can't even access the host forums decently. Game server IP is 216.32.94.186 CODE Ping statistics for 216.32.94.186: Packets: Sent = 191, Received = 151, Lost = 40 (20% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 509ms, Maximum = 856ms, Average = 583ms I've been trying to catch a 218.x IP, no dice. Keep getting 60.x here. Sent email to TM, like that's going to resolve anything. Any clues as to what's going on? Added on June 27, 2008, 11:07 pmOK new update. I finally caught a 218.x IP. getting 300ms ping now. However, still a LOT of timeouts here and there making it still unplayable. I'm not resetting my modem now... Soo... in KJ: 60.x - 600ms 218.x - 350ms This post has been edited by colinpoh: Jun 27 2008, 11:11 PM |

QUOTE(hong315 @ Sep 13 2008, 01:13 PM) I am playing at Taiwan WOW server, my ping is very bad all the time (especially after taiwan earquake one year back), therefore force to use VPN service, however recently even with VPN service, the ping is sometimes really terrible, I am talking about 10K ping ~ 20K ping in the game, really can't play at all.Just wonder it is caused by the new expansion or not..sian |

Anyone here from Genting Klang area could try tracert to WoW or let me know your latency plus your streamyx package? Im getting humorous ping and as always, Streamyx could only assist me via reading thru the manual book that probly was meant for dummies. I wanna do a comparison before bombarding them another time.
I just tried to ping to Jubei'thos again (12.129.225.103) an I get an average of 290ms. However, it's totally the different story when Im in game as I'm getting about 2.5-4k ms. Anybody in particular hv any sort of idea regarding my issue? This post has been edited by Characuta: Oct 24 2008, 02:34 PM |

Right. So I did scan my pc yesterday and yeah, no threats found or whatsoever. Did defragment my hdd after that and same problem. Did some ping test to several other websites (ie Google/youtube etc) and google came back w about 65ms average and youtube 150ms average. Couple other ping test on other websites such as DA, yahoo etc came back normal w most below the average of 300ms. Except for WoW which I get timed out on all 4 tries and tracert returns negative as well. Everything else works fine except WoW. This is truly frustrating and I've tried all I could (at least I thought I did) but nothing really works.
I'm starting to believe that it's the IP range that cause all this (I could only get 118.xxx and 125.xxx range) and both doesn't vary that much in terms of latency. I felt as if I'm pushed to make a decision whether to keep pushing my luck and keep paying that subscription fee which I consider as wasted for the past 4 months or so; or quit. So I kindly appreciate anyone who might have any idea or whatsoever. |

So i make report and call up and #$%^&* wat ever i could until they fix it for me. I jus tell them "I'm playing World of Warcraft and ur line sux" They fix my line after a few report and took me 1month... jus try my method... Now when i call up for checking, sumtime streamyx down for no reason, they will check my record b4 they ask u ur problem. Probably i become their "regular" customer bcoz they automatically greet wif me with "Yes Mr. Lim, wat can i help u?" each time i called. Well aft about a mth of pending report that they claimed to already be passed on to a 'special team' or whatsoever, I finally reach my limit and then straight call them up like 10 times a day, act like a barbarian and the next day someone came to my place. But no, that doesn't do anything good as well since that jerk basically just came in to 'look' and tell some obvious facts. Speechless really. But one good thing that they did was to fix the lines since according to them, TM technician who fixed my phone line brought up 2 wires while I only need 1. So yeah, they took off 1 and no more DC after 5mins thingy, although the latency still drives me mad.

Can you guys actually do tracert to the WoW server?
I could never tracert past the gateway. It happens when I try to tracert to Google or Yahoo that sort of thing. My ping (128.*) is so bad (2k~4k) until it gives me "You are disconnected from bla bla bla" BTW, I'm in Sarawak. Seems like we are more unfortunate than most of you here since the best ever ping I've reached is 500ms-ish. |

IP range is also 118.xxx when i notice my latency is around 2k-4k! It takes me about 10+ reconnects to get a different IP range. 115.xxx is much better and is usually around 600ms. Thus, all i can say is go IP hunt abit harder and if you dont get any other IP range, tough luck. BTW i am connecting from Cheras area.I'm starting to believe that it's the IP range that cause all this (I could only get 118.xxx and 125.xxx range) and both doesn't vary that much in terms of latency. Save your special report about latency. TMnet wont do anything to help you.
Ping via TMnet and Jaring server backbone is also 400ms to Tichondrius, 60.50.x.x IP range gets you 350-500ms. Not much hope left for us home users if business connection is that slow already. Lets face it shall we, TMnet -> US = terrible lag Try using lowerping <3 This post has been edited by rizvanrp: Nov 26 2008, 02:02 AM |

I am very pissed man. About last Friday, everything was planned, my priest hits 80 on Friday, planned to respec to holy and run instance all day Sat & Sun. Mana tau, Sat morning login latency bar is red. Previously when the latency shows 900ms, the response time is still ok, now is crazy...after a full 1 sec still didn't see the spell coming out.
How to play like that? Yesterday I mati-mati also try to play UP, the tank almost die at last boss. Streamyx always makes your life miserable. |

I'd like to update the information I gave re: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah way back in June 2007 heh:
124.82.XXX is the best with 400-800ms latency depending on how fast the Streamyx monkeys are working. 124.12.XXX is not worth trying. 115.XXX was recently made available, not tested much but seems similar to 124.82.XXX. 219.XXX, 218.XXX and 60.XXX no longer (or very very rarely) available, at least for me. |

Except streamyx is the "less worst" (I wont say best) ISP for wow generally.
Wimax and co can be good but you need to be: - Lucky - In a zone with not many people using it yet If not it's even worst than streamyx If there was another stable ISP in Malaysia stramyx would have gone bankrupt a long time ago, they just have a monopoly with a backup from the guv. |

Wireles will never ever gives you good latency. that is a know fact. you see how BN takes over Perak? So honestly unless we have a chance of government, we will never improves. The last mile connection monopoly needs to die. Seriously, if Singapore using the same undersea cable cannot screw up, why us? Its about management and proper resources utilization.

TM should say something about this. Your subscribers are suffering!
Give us Good connection especially to WoW server. Anyway, if anyone have good ISP to recommend for WoW, let me know because to me streamyx is almost/near to useless when talking about WoW, not sure about other online games. -unhappy streamyx subscriber |

at least you can enjoy the game at cc
I'm concern (or just utterly skeptical) about cc's when it involves WoW, after seeing the receptionist unlocked 3 pcs to grind level for the 'people mount people' MMORPG Perfect World using bots. Sadly I just found out that my area is not covered by Jaring, or else I hopped over for lower latency (at least not an average of 1000+ms every time I login) |

I can't believe it. About 2 months ago, I can do alterac valley fine and thats 80 ppl plus all the spells and effects. Latency was always <500ms. Now pulak get into a 25man raid also cannot. DC at Gluth, KT...wtf Shitmyx?
Thats why we need a better company to manage it. Never on the hardware side. The problem is they screwed up something but can't figure where the hell is the problem lol. |

But if the whole guild spam AOEs, and there is alot of mobs, confirm dc like mad... Those boss which have alot of adds, usually i will dc coz raiders spamming AOEs, etc-etc.. Else, ok ok la.. Do able, less dc... Those bosses are gothik , sarth with drake up ( especially the spawn whelp drake , man i hate that in 25man)... So far is like that la.. |

I'm experiencing that as well, 2 months ago 25mans are np with max aoe with max spell detail etc etc.
Nowadays i always dread going into 25 mans fearing of dcs and for some reason have to reduce visuals to reduce spikes.... and that's bad since i need to tank nowadays... imagine tanking 10s of adds then suddenly dc... oh the horrors! not to mention the mood swings 350ms -> 1500ms -> 1000ms -> 8000ms -> 200ms and so on and so forth streamyx line has deteriorated since last month. no idea if it's related to cable damage w/e |

60.49.xx is smooth as ever. Last weekend and Monday the whole time I do 25man never experienced any spike nor have the latency dipping into the red while raiding (malaysian morning till afternoon). during the late afternoon it dips into the 1k latency for a while but than its back to normal.
no disconnection means happy raiding and have better chances for loot since we can join from start to end and not drop in the middle like for the past month. ^^ |

QUOTE(siew14 @ Mar 14 2009, 12:54 AM) FYI, im not using any 3rd party latency booster to get my ping, just a normal 4mb package from tmtard. Btw this is my very 1st time to get a smooth connection in 25m raiding despite I've been using this package almost 2 months now, so please don't get cloudy over "4mb" packages. QUOTE(soitsuagain @ Mar 14 2009, 11:41 AM) I doubt that, it only effect your memory usage as far as i know, even with disabling UI, i still get the same latency, but it will differ on memory usage. |
