QUOTE(statikinetic @ Aug 23 2011, 11:51 PM) Depends on the figure you want. If you want to look like a marathon runner (Go Google for Olympic marathon runners), then go train like one and run long distances. If you want to look like a WWE star, then train with weights and compliment it with cardio if you want. Ok, I'm planning to hit the track 3 times a week in the morning (around 0800)...targetting 4km or 45 minutes of running, whichever comes first What is the appropriate food to consume before I start running? Would having 2 eggs + 250ml of full cream milk around 0700 be sufficient?

newbie here. could really need some tips/advises
i want to gain some weight. i'm really skinny.
was thinking of starting off with a better diet (6 times per day) + BSN true mass. Will it be enough if i just do some light weigh exercise? e;g dumbell + pumping..?

But your "light weight" exercise have to be consistent if you want to see results. what's your age/current size/gender?

Hi,
I used to drink Weight Gainers but it did not work for me as I am lactose intolerant and Weight Gainers are milk based. So it was just a waste of money. Then I started drinking soy regularly to increase calorie intake.
Now I just eat 5 times a day and it seems to be working. What I do is just eat my normal breakfast/lunch/dinner and eat 2 pieces of peanut butter sandwich with wholemeal bread in between at 10am and 5pm. I have gained about 4kg just by sticking to this simple diet. Is it healthy? I don't know but I do feel and look better than before.
Of course I also lift weights at home once a week to stay in shape.

After college ( and the discovery of beer and alcohol, late nights playing dota/ CS.) I seem to gain weight naturally! Then comes the phase of attracting girls and you tend to hit the gym due to sexual frustration...

Hi every1,
for those who are trying to gain weight , try out measuring your calories intake. Some of you say , i eat alot and alot already, but i still cant gain. A question here , how muhc is your alot means? 4 piece of tuna sandwich?
Firstly,if u wanna gain weight ( muscle mass) , do some lifting, one or twice a week is better than ntg,
2ndly, eat alot, try this out, if u are taking 3 meals ,try eating 1k calorie for each meal, and then supplement a super mass gainer that is around 1.2k calorie in between day, for example.
Breakfast (1k cal), Mass gainer ( half serving - 600 cal) lunch (1k) mass gainer ( half serving - 600cal) dinner .(1k)
If you wan u can add addition of half serving before sleep. With this , u are inflicting 4.2k calories a day, track your progress for 1 week, c whether u gain weight or not, if not, increase it by 500 cal.
Please pm me if you do have any questions for gaining weight / supplementation and etc. (pm me too for fat loss.. my most pro part.. >.> )
Best regards

Anyone could recommend me a good mass gainer supply ? It is my 1st time to try a supplement.
- The taste should be acceptable, taste like milk should be good. - How to I consume it ? In case I hate the taste, can I mix anything so that it become friendly taste - Importantly, do it have side-effect ? My people around me always say "U will die early if u consume those thing"
thanks in advice.

If its any consolation I do the same thing to gain weight (i do substitute the peanut butter sandwiches with a can of tuna in water sometimes) but have since stopped because I cant afford to change my wardrobe that often. Going from a size 31 to 34 means alot of trousers and working pants to change This post has been edited by stefanong: Oct 10 2011, 02:50 PM
