Anyone know whether we still can access our internet banking account for dbs/posb when we're overseas? Does the iB Secure device still works overseas?

Hello guys, i juz recently got an offer to work at Singapore. The basic salary offered was SGD2000. I'm currently working at puchong with a basic salary of RM2200 + OT claim (average around RM400-RM500). The question is, is it worth to take the job with that salary in Singapore?

Calculate your expenses in SG, see how much you save and see whether its worth it or not. 2k sgd is a bit tough in SG if you plan to rent a room here IMO. |

Guys, out of topic. I'm planning to apply credit card in Singapore. I will be having appointment for the PR application on 30th January. So by February I should be able to get the PR. Which credit card is hotcake right now? Mainly for cashback, petrol subsidize not required. Anyone has any experience on this? Thanks.

UOB One card for cash rebate, about 3% and some % for oversea transactions. For other cards, you can apply them, get the freebies, cancel them before expiry date, wait for sometime and redo the process for new freebies. |

But recently UOB is quite quiet on the vendor promotion, unlike recently OCBC and Citybank card. But I still try to compare between UOB and Citybank Card.QUOTE(knwong @ Dec 31 2014, 02:44 PM) 360 only worth if I have 3 bills to pay every month, and minimum transaction must be $600 per month, if not there will be a fix cash back rate of only around 1.4% ( if my memory serves right) for all. |

Say, if i'm gonna apply for PR, they'll need six months salary slips right. Possible to use the first three months from my current co+1 month gap (no salary)+3 months from my new employer?

You need to minimise your expenses.Try to share a room unit with someone else, then your rental will be around $400 only. Minus all other expenses, I think you can still save $1k a month which is pretty good. May I know how old are you and what kind of job is it? |
