Just curious... but with Macs, is there something you can use for MS Office files? And is there a good torrent p2p client? Now that I'm not gaming, that's all I use laptops for... work and torrents.

I'm looking for a new laptop but although I like how the Macbooks look, I have zero clue on Macs... Considering Macs this time around as any Windows laptop with equivalent Macbook form factor and battery life are way more expensive (like Thinkpad Carbon or Sony Z-series).

1. cheaper property. By renting out your Singapore HDB when you retire, You can live comfortably in Msia and even go for travel twice a year.
2. health care is a lot more cheaper in Msia compare to SG.
3. Msia houses are mainly landed property which you can enjoy your gardening during your retirement.

REP can be renewed online before it expired, and is usually approved immediately, done that for my whole family, and remember to save the digital copy so you can reprint it when needed.
if it expired, then have to go to ICA with employment letter from employer, and is renewable on the same day, happened to my colleague. he forgot that his REP expired, and is blocked from using the automated clearance when he tries to go JB.

Just got my international driving license, got one question.

I'm Singapore PR, can i drive my own malaysia car / malaysia rented car, into Singapore using my international permit ?

I only got malaysia license and international driving license. No singapore license.

I drove MY car plate into Singapore last Friday to complete my PR formalities (gave them my EP and they wrote my new Singapore IC number in my passport).
When I drive back to Malaysia via Second-Link, the officer don't bother to look at my car or so on.
So my question is, the responsible (to check) lies on the traffic police officer or ICA officer ? : ))
