Tak tau. I baru 4 months working, nothing is too detailed in the websites actually. Have to call them and ask perhaps.

QUOTE(rawrkun @ Jan 2 2015, 09:56 PM)
You can register with BEM even without any working experience as long as you've received your degree cert. but that's for Graduate Engineer registration.
For Professional Engineer aka IR, you'll need at least 1 year of local experience before you can register. That's the case the last time I checked with them, but that was quite some time ago..
*
doh.gif I haven't register BEM haha... See when I can get it registered.

QUOTE(jitshiong @ Jan 3 2015, 03:03 PM)
1 year working experience in Malaysia still a requirement for PE.
Better register as Graduate Engineer soonest, else u will waste all ur working experience. Just like rawrkun said.
If registered as PE in SG, still have to retake PI in Malaysia after registering and also fulfill the same requirements.
Then only u qualify as PE in Malaysia and can sign off drawings.
*
biggrin.gif I tak tau~~

But ain't that what washington accord is doing? Let PE in countries which signed that accord to work in other countries which signed. Not so sure. Maybe can't sign off.

You're on PR or Work pass (S Pass/EP...)

I doubt you can take on other jobs if you're here with work pass.

there are various positions in the banking sector such as front end and back end.  I have mys friends working/previously working in UxB for front line position.  She got a decent pay for her qualification but need to work on shift and she quit after 3 years due to politics within the branch.  She was recommended this job by another friend who is still working in there.  If you have friends working in SG, it is much better that you ask them to recommend you into the company.

I too am currently looking for position in banking sector. Been doing credit admin for 2 and half years total 3 1/2 years of work experience. Hopefully can get a job.

doh.gif I stay right near Joo Chiat. Yeah really a lot... But to be frank. They're everywhere. Food courts, any food stalls, any type of shops... Even Indian shop/mamak shop also hire them. They're really virtually everywhere. Just not much into professional career, more towards non-skilled job like restaurant helper/construction worker.

Guys, I would like to go for gym in Singapore. Currently I have a celebrity fitness membership and I am wondering whether it's worth changing to to international membership at RM199, or is there better and cheaper gym in singapore ? Is the Delta Clubfitt in Tiong Bahru good ? Per entry is like $2.50 that's pretty cheap ..
