What is Gunpla?

Gundam Models refers to plastic and non-plastic model kits depicting the mechas, vehicles and characters of the fictional Mobile Suit Gundam universe. These kits have become popular among anime fans and model-lovers, especially in Japan and in other nearby Asian countries since 1980s. The popularity of Gundam models increased in the 1990s with North America and Europe being exposed to Gundam through television, video and manga. These Gundam Models may also be called Gunpla (ガンプラ Ganpura?), a portmanteau of "Gundam plastic model". "Gunpla" more commonly refers to the practice of building Gundam models, rather than the models themselves.

Where the hell do those two huge yellow stickers go? I don't mind the others since stickers that small are easily substituted by Gundam marker, but those yellow ones look silly for a MG.

Bandai just announced the HGUC Banshee Norn in March. My question... Is the huge shield design similar to the 1/100 one offered as an add-on for the MG Unicorn OVA / ver. Ka?

but for 1/100 they make it separate and color molded

If it's pure yellow I don't mind too as can easily paint it
but if it's orange yellow like UC series then it'll be a problem getting the colours right sweat.gif

if this were 2005 i'll agree but its not. Bandai hav rg zeta; fully transformable at that, I dun think size is a problem for Bandai in 2013 and from the looks of it it isnt small either.

besides there r other technique to overcome small colored area. Take tallgeese shoulder for instance, it has small yellow trim along the edges. They place the yellow piece on the back and overlay the white piece on top to create this trim, surely tey can replicate this technique on the wing....

be warned, most of the good stuffs already sold out
plus that branch's price are higher than GA @ BTS, hence after 25% discount it'll be only like 15% cheaper than GA @ BTS
unless you are nearer to that area than KL, then it won't be worth the transport and time sad.gif

yesterday I was there, it took me quite some time before deciding any kit was worth to buy
in the end went home with HGUC Anksha, normal price Rm100, after discount Rm75

e@Curve's outlet does cost higher... but...

I got my MG Delta+ from there, by placing my order to the KL outlet and asked them if I can pickup from e@Curve outlet. They even gave me the same price they selling in KL outlet.

Very good service. thumbup.gif

Oh, probably the only hobby shop that doesn't charge you surcharge for credit card transactions? biggrin.gif

I assume, Nu ver KA has no discount there? I just bought mine before the close down announcement. sad.gif

I bought the MG Freedom extra finish version a while back.
Didn't like it. Should've bought the normal ones. If you think nub marks looks bad on normal plastic, the look worse on extra finish or whatever finish version.

because the runner are chromed-plated not color mold
I myself dont like the chrome plated on Exia Ignition

Didn't like it. Should've bought the normal ones. If you think nub marks looks bad on normal plastic, the look worse on extra finish or whatever finish version.

Hmm actually during my Japan trip, I stopped by Asobit City shop in Akiba. I saw they provide service to metallic-coat your model kit (though I'm not sure they coat by runner or by part or both). Is there any similar service in Malaysia?

Yup, I think most people will definitely will manage to go. but the only problem is to find a shop which has that coupon. I didn't manage to find in time last year(a bit lazy too) sweat.gif
and last year is more easier, just buy any Unicorn kits. Guess this year more strict

I really don't see Loto, Hamarabi, Asshimar and Gaplant are getting MG any time soon or if it ever be, hell i think even most MS that in the 20% range have more chance than them.

list pretty much useless since they dont mention MG 2.0 of Gundam Ground Type/ EZ8 / Gouf Custom
hey, the short movie of 8th MS Team will be bundled with BD set which be high chances to milking gunpla too like they did to Seed Remaster

I quite agree with prediction of HGUC FA Unicorn release, though there will be long wait since episode 7's date air dont announce yet
for now, they only highlight HGUC Banshee Norm release for Episode 6

Disagree with his Delta Kai. At best its 60%.

Disagree with his Ashimar n Gaplant. At best its 10%

Completely disagree with his 20% list.
Altron 20%????? If hes gonna be consistent he should put all the rest ew in there or none at all. Doesn't make sense to put just 1 since the rest is equally as milkable/popular
We know GN-X IV has been shelved/canceled it should be lower then 20%.
We know V2 has been stuck in development hell for several years so that also less then 20%.
Gaia 20%, same argument with Altron where is its brethen?
F-king ZAKU WARRIOR??????? Many UC fans hates all incarnation of seed zakus. Unlike the UC counterpart seeds 1 r awful n completely useless. In UC it was piloted by awesome ppl; matsunaga, char, etc etc that accomplish great things including damaging the main character. Seeds? Useless lunamaria that miss every shot she fires, equally useless but slightly better rey, stock footage of yzak n dearka that does nothing but flies around in it, other ppl in it are cannon fodder, use in a concert. It accomplish nothing but disgraces the name zaku; so bad that i dun even remember any memorable scene with it. Correct me if im wrong but in every single battle of minerva, the zakus has to be constantly bailed out by the gundam. If its name was something other than zaku UC fans may not be so displease wit it. Bandai biggest cust is UC fans (and richest too since those fans r now adults with $$$) they will not release something that is so hated upon by its biggest cust. ZAKU WARRIOR absolutely 0%.

Some of his RG list are also farfetch.

^ haha I believe you should separate the design and anime standpoint. Not like whatever pilot who pilot whatever unit will appear in the model kit you built, not to mention many ppl will not even paint the figure if it is included, much less people display the kit with the cockpit open. Yes many UC fans now is adult with $$$, but they are getting older, and new generations nowadays mainly know UC series from Gundam Unicorn only, and might not be interested in older models if they are the kind of fan who only buy model kits of the mecha they like in the anime

yes design should be separated from the character since not every character is competent hence difference in achievement. Even in UC there r countless of useless ppl in zakus but ppl like char balance it out with his portrayal. Audience kno what it can do in the hands of competent ppl, most of us buys the kit not becuz of hu pilots it anyway (shin musha for instance nobody pilots it) but we kno its cool cuz its portrayal is cool. In the case of destiny if its just luna then its fine she sucks its not an indication of the suit capability, but virtually every single character whether competent or not (yzak n dearka is competent by virtual of their achievement from seed) does nothing in it. Looks cool but portrayal falls flat on its face.

we all agree that anime is for all intent and purposes 50 episodes of 30 minute elongated advertisement to sell kits but if that advertisement fail to show any memorable scene for a kit then that kit is bound to fail; in marketing a product how u present it is important. If its selling point is just its design (which i agree is not too bad looking) then its market will be very narrow from an already narrow fanbase, not many like destiny (many of destiny fans watch it when tey r young but now at this point in time most hav grown up n watch others n can giv a valid comparison hence its drop in popularity ranking, some of its characters r voted in to be the worse most annoying characters too which is inconceivable at the time of its airing) even among seed fans and i dun hav to mention UC fans; tey absolutely loathed it. The reason SF sold well cuz it look cool and it kick ass, the reason Destiny sold well cuz it look cool n put up a good fight, the reason IJ sold well is cuz it look cool and it kick ass. Same with Impulse, Legend and Providence thus i dun disagree with his list for both main antagonist, i dun disagree with the druggies as well i just disagree with its % or lack of its other brethren, however u cant apply the same argument for seed zakus. For this reason i gave it 0% chance.

As an indication just think about this, in every model kit box at the side will hav some action poses to emulate its anime portrayal, what r tey gonna do with seed zakus? showing them exploding??? showing them miss every single shot even though the enemy is just 10 feet away??? showing them get bailed out by gundams??? This is also the main reason why many grunt has not been MG-fied, their portrayal is just not compelling. GN-X is the only other non UC grunt but it put up a good fight, even manage to beat gundams at the end of 00 S1. By that virtue it earns itself among the cool grunts category.

best example of a kit that got a sales boost due to portrayal in anime is HGUC Byarlant Custom

P-Bandai Hobby Online Shop Exclusive: A New Limited Edition Real Grade Coming Soon!

According to a Gtoys Blog post, Bandai will start taking preorders for an as of yet unannounced Limited Edition RG kit on Friday January 18th, 2013.

Using past releases as an example, it's more than likely going to be a recolor of the RG Zeta Gundam, perhaps in the Amuro Ray’s MSZ-006-3 custom color scheme, or maybe it will have the Hyper Mega Launcher included. Or maybe it will be something completely different.

well, they already milked RG Strike with Strike Rogue and IWSP, so RG Strike can be put out of question
RG Skygrasper & RG Mk-II I can't think of any variations, so do Freedom & Justice
so that left RX-78-2, Zaku II, Zeta and possibly Destiny

the variations possible:

RX-78-2
- G3
- Real Type Color
- Casval Custom

Zaku II
- White Ogre
- Black Tri-star

Zeta
- White Unicorn

Destiny
- Heine Westernfluss Custom

even the RG Strike + IWSP is just additional runners for the IWSP

wta, the GA at bts still at 7th floor?
need to get some line marker n etc.

need some tips as well. i realise when i cut the parts out, it left a quite un-nice scar on the plastic, which is quite fugly. how do you guys normally cut the parts out without damaging the kit too much?

(cutting it out by using the gundam cutter, did not use knife, i wonder should i use knife to minimize the scar caused) hmm.gif

Finally completed the fin funnels. Posing this guy is very nerve racking but as soon as you get the right pose, it's okay if you DON'T fiddle with it too much.

In fact, those pieces don't fall off even you turn the model around.

It's extremely frustrating though to hold all the 6 fin funnels together and join it, better put 2 funnels to the backpack first and continue from there, easier...

Yeah the fin funnel while can hold all of it, is just too fiddly and tend to collapse inwards. Mine have been modded to fix that.

Yes, GA still at BTS 7th Floor. You can also check the one at the IT center there, 3rd floor and also Time machine... I bought mine from Litt Tak Sg. Wang, 10 ringgit...

There are threads around showing how to cut, look around, they are posted by the sifus here...If you don't want to cut, use sand paper...guide also available around the net if not in some thread here.

You should use the hobby knife to cut out, using the nipper will stress out the plastic a little. Leave probably about 1-2mm to be handled by the knife, unless for parts you don't see

I was skeptical of the seller first as well, but his ebay ratings seem to show a reliable seller. I messaged him and he basically said that he makes his prices so low so he can stay competitive. That's probably why Nu ver ka was still retail price but PG SF was so cheap: no one would buy it otherwise.

I dont know what to do and panic, tried to wash those white area with thinner. it can come off then i start to become lazy and pour thinner into a pail, and soak the whole gundam it is and take it out. now almost all those plastic joins are breaking off. cry.gif. I think i have to buy a new unit because buying parts for all those joins won't be cheap..

You dunked the whole Gundam in paint thinner? You might as well have thrown it into a fireplace. You've made the whole kit into something that could shatter if so much as touched.

1. don't spray on humid conditions
2. heat can up with warm water first before spraying
3. spray parts one by one. i dont mean one whole leg, or one whole hand. i mean part-by-part. time consuming, yes. but time consuming > wasted kit

-don't spray after rain, on cold weather, or during night
-warm up and shake well the can
-spray about 20-30cm away
-spray in short burst, not spray continuously
-spray multiple thin layers

if want to remove paint, either use sandpaper or use hobby grade thinner, or use Mr. Paint Remover

you can spray whole kit, but then you can't change the pose already
and that only apply to gloss or semi-gloss coat, flat coat is more unforgiving icon_idea.gif

ya, like you said, sgd 124 fly away cos of frosting, and impatience

like mentioned, gloss is more forgiving than flat. unless you absolutely know what you are doing, always play it safe, and be patient. unless you want to throw another kit away, it is always up to you whistling.gif

i know what i'm saying sounds a bit harsh, but that is the reality. if you want to be fast, you can always spray while on the runner then only assemble right? but it won't be nice. be patient, do things step by step, and once you have a better idea, and control over everything only you start thinking about being more efficient. after all, why you want to rush your hobby?

Wow, very unfortunate...it's a expensive lesson blink.gif I think the paint frosted dy...when did you spray it? In a cold environment? Also, did you shake well and rendam the can into hot water?

I suggest next time you experiment on the sprue first...

The glass you need to cut your own so really depends on which shop you quoted from but from that thread, it shouldn't exceed RM6 per piece..

The nuts I do not know...i saw before in a rather expensive hardware shop, got 4 nuts like RM13.80, and i think that is for bigger size one...can get cheaper for sure if look around...

In any case, the height is customizable to your own desire and definitely cheaper than owning another detolf... thumbup.gif

actually if not because of the thinner part, even frosting also can be saved. For my case, I once screw up my PG strike freedom's dragoon system, where the frosting appear right after the top coat, da*n the stupid weather was hot for the whole day, and suddenly turn dark at the moment i about to do top coat. vmad.gif (and le impatient me decided to finish it instead of wait another day)

So what i did was: re-spray the color... Use the 200 sand paper slowly sand off the very rough surface, and re-do all the color spray work. so after many days, it was done.

none of the tv ver upgrades were release what makes u think epyon hav an iota of chance? Heck none of the custom variant were release except for wing n dhell when it can easily be made with existing kits. Let them do atleast that 1st b4 hoping for more.

cuz when u think about it, with all these ver EW/ka/original/upgrades and what not, if bandai makes all of it then it'll hav crap ton of wing kits (the most of any AU) which is very uncharacteristic of Bandai. If its UC then yeah but AU.... and its long been off air at that...... dun get ur hopes up.

well, MG Wing TV did release long time ago(2010).. It is consider as TV version right?
I could see Bandai can reuse the inner frame from Wing TV into Wing Zero (and possible Epyon TV)

but then we have enough Seed and Wing MGs lately, so I think still a long way to get release

lead characters/titular suit r not unusual to get a release (what is unusual is when it didn't) so wing alone is not an indication. Despite epyon being the titular villain suit, tey dun get much love in AU. The only way it'll be made is to ride the wave with the other 4, even if (A BIG IF) zero tv is release it'll not guarantee its main rival will as well. Case in point, no versago, ashtaron, turn x, providence, legend, reborns, thus i dun think they will treat epyon any differently.

transformation on the epyon is substantially different from zero so u cant reuse much frame if any. Just like the epyon ew n the other wing ew kits, almost nothing in common aside from some small parts n swapable hand.

Short answer is no. Heck, even the outer armor is not 'necessary' to topcoat. But you can if you want. tongue.gif

I would say actually the reason why there's sudden rise of Wing MGs recently was due to the ongoing Gundam Wing Glory of The Loser manga (they use Katoki's design for this manga instead of Okawara's; thus why the recent Wing MGs are all based on Katoki's rendition of the gundams)

price for the limited RG Zeta is listed as 3360yen.. why do exclusives always get here and become far more expensive than that sad.gif price someone said earlier is over 5000yen doh.gif damn it! also damn you bandai for making it an exclusive!

on a side note, if anyone is looking for MG banshee titanium, it's in IT Toys for RM399

yeap.. that's the thing.. that's about 5000+ yen.. i don't think i can spend that much for an RG.. i know previously those exclusives like phase down ver. are also about that price
but personally i can't quite justify paying such a premium sweat.gif

yes this. Another reason why tv ver of any wing is not likely. The trend now is all bout ew/ka/custom, all wing project so far hav been focus on that. Infact i think Bandai when tey were planing to do all these ew stuff they look back on their inventory n realize wing is missing thus gave birth to it. I think without GoTL wing tv will not even be made or notice by Bandai exec.....

at any rate the most logical thing for Bandai to do is to make the rest of the custom ver. Its just swap color n add weapons anyway, but we haven hav any news regarding those which is abit concerning. Furthermore almost half of this year lineup (assuming AGE 3 n FX got the green light) hav been announce, seeing that Unicorn is their milking machine most likely the other half would hav Unicorn in there somewhere too which means that this year chances of any other wing would be pretty slim. Dun forget RG will also eat up the calendar space. Also competing with wing lineup is seed/destiny which makes its chances even worse.

So those hoping for tv ver of any wing its probably a lost cause. Just like crossbone x3.....

By the way, i just notice that this back ankle armor piece that you suppose to remove during the psycho frame reveal transformation can be put back in after you push in the lock...not mentioned in the instruction.

Only this part can put back, the other one at the lower thigh cannot though. A bit dissapointed because need to keep that part separately if want to display in psycho frame mode

Is that any chance to complain to eBay, may be can get something courtesy from eBay? ( I knew many international corporation will do such thing when their customer got scammed, like booking.com, singapore airline... etc, even not they're not directly responsible for the case) Anyway, wish you all the best to get back your stuff.

your friend probably used flat topcoat
as for online photos, some people do use gray panel lines instead of black as it looks more natural
and for sharp panel line, it can be achieved with panel wash technique

and this topic should be discussed here icon_rolleyes.gif

I have not built many MGs, but out of the small number of MGs I have completed, I choose the 00 Raiser. I somehow enjoy building the 0 Raiser back attachment and the folding mechanism. Well, that's just me.

Hi guys...has anyone painted their MG Nu ver. Ka?

At least the fin funnels? Wanna know if that fixes the loose issue...eventually, thickness increases and it tightens the zig zag portion of the fin funnel locking part...

Want to know if it helps a lot, might coat that part if it tightens it very much.

I'm still battling with gravity...

it make your kit worth your money

In the meantime, almost done with this guy. Having fun building it. Learned a few things, broke a few thing (notice the broken antennae thingy). Another bazooka to be built and painted. Both shotguns haven't been painted.
Maybe next weekend..

the broken antenna you can fix easily with Hobby cement and sandpaper(to smoothen back the surface after glued)

Yup. I did that. It broke a second time when I fiddled with it.
I kind of like the short antenna. Makes it look like a horn. Match the shoulder spike. laugh.gif I'm thinking of sanding it down and making it sharp. biggrin.gif

It's strong enough to stick them back together but doesnt change the fact that the piece is really fragile. May break again if you play with it too much.

whenever a part is broken n glued back together (regardless of whatever u uses be it super glue, cement, etc) will never be as strong as when its a single piece. For instance if u sand a very small piece that is glued together u cant apply the same force as if it were a single piece, u hav to be gentle and light or it'll just break again at the same location. Ur question of strong enuf required context, strong enuf for what? Hold itself together sure no prob. Withstand rough handling, flexing, bending, etc nope.

actually, ur bone will be stronger at the patah location. Ur cell will repair it and in the process it'll make it more dense thus strengthen it. Alot of ppl rebroke the bone at the same places is due to them not taking care of it properly , immune system compromise or under certain condition (chemotherapy for instance) that prevents it from growing properly. I've seen alot of sportsman break their bone and comeback like it nvr happen b4. It'll nvr be perfect sure but it'll be stronger at the break point if it was taken care of properly.

this hav alot to do with atomic bonding. Since ur bone will regenerate it'll be like brand new, unlike on plastic where u hav to depend on chemical bonding the strength will depend on the chemical not he plastic itself thus it'll always be weaker. To properly and fully repair it, remold it is the answer but since we're talking bout gunpla here its just not worth it to go to the trouble to remold something. Just glue it, sand it gently and nvr touch it again will do.

whenever a part is broken n glued back together (regardless of whatever u uses be it super glue, cement, etc) will never be as strong as when its a single piece.
*
Yope, I means if it's strong enough to hold it back together, for me cement doesn't seems strong enough to use as glue, but I dare not use super glue (like the elephant brand one), it will melt my model rclxub.gif

gunpla cement is design to melt the plastic abit and then the melted plastic would act as the bonding agent between the 2 halves, once dry it'll be relatively strong. U cant use gunpla cement as ur regular glue, it wont stick to anything since its design was not to be sticky to begin with, also cant use on regular plastic only on weaker flexible soft plastic like gunpla; tried it on lego piece does not work at all. Super glue the chemical itself is the bonding agent, once dry it'll be very solid but extremely brittle. U can use super glue on gunpla no prob but its not recommended, sanding would be an issue since its so brittle sanding it could shatter the super glue agent.

no, it need at least 10 hours to harden
Super Glue is reliable enough but it leave a white stain doh.gif
and also if your part is joint or need to move, the part itself will break again

Christ I hate trying to reason with Youtubers. There is this Youtuber who is convinced that Bandai will make a MG of ELS Quanta. I'm trying to tell him that's never going to happen but he refuses to listen. His argument is that because Bandai does Titanium finish kits that Bandai would pre-paint ELS Quanta's wings. Who's the crazy one here?

that really put our patience to test... rclxub.gif

For me I simply knife it off carefully, sand it with very fine sand paper. After the painting you won't see where's the nub.

if you are going to paint it or just flat topcoat, using 2000 grit sandpaper as the final sanding would be good enough

the best thing they can fix is of course the weak waist joint laugh.gif

but in terms of design I'm not sure, need to try comparing the manga and anime version
but 1 thing for sure I can say, this version the decals are gonna be toned down sweat.gif

but those r accessories, nothing more then an addon so it doesnt matter if it was being branded as ver ka with cage or with bazooka or with chocolate chip cookies. Why go to such a length to create "manga ver" and hav distinction between the 2 when physically there aren't any differences. Unless its a branding error and they meant it to be ver ova instead, then at least it'll make some sense since it will be release around the time of epi 6.

regardless, new sinanju is always welcome since its already a good kit by itself. If tey make improvement on the waist n hand then it'll just be even better.

From what I can read, it clearly said anime, not manga. And Gundamguy has replaced the title to OVA version when it stated manga previously. shakehead.gif

ver ka 7000 ver ova 7500.

Tey probably gonna include new hand though. The old hand, while very articulated the peg is quite shallow, it couldn't hold the normal rifle properly (at least on mine anyway). So if tey use back the old hand it'll not gonna hold the bazooka well, tey probably gonna use the nu ver ka hand like stein and if so the regular rifle, saber n axe thingy will hav to change abit to use that double peg system. So i think tat xtra 500 yen is for this changes and the bazooka.

nop, tax usually u wont get such a nice round number.

Anyway the pic itself actually stated the price with tax is 7875 yen, so retail price at 7500 is the actual figure.

ah I quite blur with the price
always mix up with and without tax.. notworthy.gif

on another note,Sinanju OVA will gonna get:

-Brighter red color(red blood) to match the OVA anime
-Bazooka(confirmed)
-Lesser decals than version Katoki
-the sleeve sticker color gonna be yellow instead with gold(my theory, since in anime looks like that)
-Nu Ka style finger

anything too add? the inner frame will be same old one so I suppose think the weak waist joint is still there unsure.gif

-Nu Ka style finger

anything too add? the inner frame will be same old one so I suppose think the weak waist joint is still there unsure.gif
*
the thing with the yellow or gold emblem, Katoki originally drew it in gold, but in animation it's hard to replicate gold, since it's actually yellow with white sparkle pattern laugh.gif

I think it will look good in both gold or yellow emblem.. Gold is probably more suitable for titanium finish as the contrast match with one another, it both shines.. if its the normal ver ka version yellow could probably be more suitable for the red body kit.. unsure.gif

White stickers for the edges of the cockatoo headcrest?

Im building MG Strike Freedom. Is it a good idea to top coat matte the inner frame first before assembling or should I assemble everything and top coat later?
What bugging me is the top coat affect on joint - squeaky, armor couldnt fitted.

according to rrobbert184 tat seems to be the case, he mention that it'll be made out of paintable materials (whatever that means). I think it'll be the same type like nu ver ka, flexible n light weight; this may alleviate the waist issue though i duno by how much. Im on the side of redesigning the damn waist completely but if this fix the issue then im ok with it.

QUOTE(Ayam-man @ Jan 25 2013, 09:53 PM)

There r 2 posibilities
1: tey deliberately pose it at that angle so that the other arm could swing n grab the side handle
2: if u hav build the sinanju u would kno that the wrist guard hinders the hand movement abit. When the wrist rotates perpendicular to the elbow joint the wrist guard gets in the way of tilting the hand up or down. By pushing it to the side (like what the pic did) this may allow the hand to properly hold it.

without further pic thats is the only 2 posibilities i could come up with and i could not confirm either. So lets just wait n c.

because it has the word 'online exclusive' slapped on it.. it's actually just a little below 4000yen, which is about the same as any other wing kit

btw has anyone seen this around?

it's supposed to be may 2012 release, and some sites already have it up long ago.. but i haven't seen any in local stores.. even places like FT and GA normally have some Armored Core kits but i have never seen this one up.. been keeping my eye out for this for a long time and still no luck.. i'd rather not have to import, actually hmm.gif

yeap, as stated by d-y and myself.. the 'online exclusive' kills it.. similarly with RG Zeta III, they charge really high for them since they ship only in japan
and shops tend to want to earn more, i suppose? not so sure about this part sweat.gif

i'm pretty sure they wont get distributor price for exclusives.. but the prices are really crazy.. then again the shops normally charge prices according to yen so i guess it's only fair since they're paying more for exclusives too sweat.gif

Pretty much almost all the Alternate Century Gundams are smaller than it's UC counterpart until Hartaway flash with Xi gundam. After war UC like F91, Crossbone, Gundam X it on par or smaller size than the Alternate Century MS.

Here a much better comparison with Wing Zero.
user posted image

Edit: I forget to extend the leg on the wing zero but it marginally higher than heavyarms.

zeta 3a is actually using sticker. still remember lots of people would have prefer water slide
zeta 2.0 HD is the one that has water decals

QUOTE
The stickers weren’t the regular clear stickers, but weren’t dry or water transfers. In fact they felt like paper and its adhesiveness would remain even after two or three screw ups that required me to peel it off.

hmm, seems they're both the same.. the skyblue box is the unicorn mode, the destroy mode sports a red coloured box
i did some research and some online shops are showing that both the red box and the movie limited box contain the exact same thing in different packaging hmm.gif

it is miles better than the cheap one. i didn't buy into it at first, but 1 thing i realize was key is the fact that there are no holes made after you cut yur plastic from the runners. that makes a difference in not having to putty up holes made. have had mine for 1 and a half years, and still gogin good!

tkting is selling for 120, but maybe can get cheaper ones in trade zone..

GFF is mostly 1/144 scale, some of them is 1/100
while Robot Damashii is off scale ( a bit smaller than 1/144 gunpla)

GFF Psycho Gundam is 1/144
I saw someone selling used one for RM280 long time ago

^ Yep it was quite a sizable MS and the most expensive MG to date (Excluding exclusive/ shiny finish ver)

But with that been said tho it kinda disappointing since the armor just look too plain for my liking.

Yup. As is it's kinda plain. Hard to justify spending that much money on it.
However, all that empty space in its armor could serve as a good canvas to practice panel line scribing though. laugh.gif

if ur purpose is just to practice scribing panel line, why not just go for 1/100 no grade kit. Providence for instance, plenty of real estate there to do whatever lines u want at a fraction of the cost.
