how to apply the flat top coat anyway? i just spray spray a bit, then become white white edi.
*
1. don't spray on humid conditions
2. heat can up with warm water first before spraying
3. spray parts one by one. i dont mean one whole leg, or one whole hand. i mean part-by-part. time consuming, yes. but time consuming > wasted kit

because i see tutorials at youtube, those fella just put the whole kit in the spray booth and just spray. last time  spray my exia with gloss coat, i pray part by part no problem.
haiz..... $124SGD fly just like that.....

ya, like you said, sgd 124 fly away cos of frosting, and impatience

like mentioned, gloss is more forgiving than flat. unless you absolutely know what you are doing, always play it safe, and be patient. unless you want to throw another kit away, it is always up to you whistling.gif

i know what i'm saying sounds a bit harsh, but that is the reality. if you want to be fast, you can always spray while on the runner then only assemble right? but it won't be nice. be patient, do things step by step, and once you have a better idea, and control over everything only you start thinking about being more efficient. after all, why you want to rush your hobby?

hmm... my trusty bandai clipper thing finally gave out after 6 years of service (spring doesn't rebound anymore).

remember you guys raving about the tamiya one - how is it better than the cheap bandai one again? and how much does it cost?

tq
*
it is miles better than the cheap one. i didn't buy into it at first, but 1 thing i realize was key is the fact that there are no holes made after you cut yur plastic from the runners. that makes a difference in not having to putty up holes made. have had mine for 1 and a half years, and still gogin good!

tkting is selling for 120, but maybe can get cheaper ones in trade zone..
