OT. BTW, anybody here that doesn't do gundams? We need more Panzer lovers, and i seriously have a problem emulating zemerrit on my old konig tiger.

i might be venturing into the tank modelling soon.. since i saw in my place THE STORE now have model kit for tanks as well... quite cheap since its a China brand.. Kitech.

i got one tamiya 1/35 tank which i bot 8 years ago. will post pics soon!@!@
but its destroyed tho.with missing armour plate and a detachable turret. |

Zimmerit here's some tips: 1) get a mini saw blade - the tip assembles the zimmerit pattern. 2) Epoxy putty - mix the 2 parts together and place them on your tank surface inch by inch. While doing that, use the saw blade and scribe the pattern onto the surpace of the epoxy. to add effect, after drying, use a sharp object to break little parts of the zimmerit to assemble detached zimmerit, but don't over do this. Hope this tip helps! |

after i build a model, can I send it anywhere for an airbrush finish? i can afford to buy a compressor.... i wish i could have some nice airbrush finish on my tank.
