hmm... my trusty bandai clipper thing finally gave out after 6 years of service (spring doesn't rebound anymore).

remember you guys raving about the tamiya one - how is it better than the cheap bandai one again? and how much does it cost?

tq

Here's the MG Freedom. Larger than the RG but much less detailed.
Also it doesn't come in this blue. This one I ab-ed.

wanna ask all the otai here, about this handbrush painting, why aaa my zaku leg become like that? done many layers already, or should i do primer first? for info that is acrylic colours

it is very hard to hand paint large surfaces, even more so if you do not use a primer. Best hand painter i know around these parts would be kukubeh but he seldom dabbles in gunpla nowadays. Normally hangs out in the hotwheels' thread.

I am older than most here I would think but I prefer Seed over Wing, both the anime and the gunpla!
Maybe I'm the exception.

I dislike The series with Exia in it ( although vanilla Exia itself is one cool machine) and haven't been interested with Age at all to watch enough episodes to comment.

The best for me is still the original U.C. series though, by far.

Ah, so the Exia series was called 00. Lol, terlupa.
Agree on UC having a fair few stinkers, but the good far outweigh the bad.

As for the gunpla, UC to me has grittier, simpler designs overall which I do like, but for some reason, I also like Seed's winged wonders... until they start leaning backwards anyways and have to be either wedged against the back of the detolf display or have additional supports made from clear pla plate!

problem is, when you are visiting Japan, there are 10000000 things that you would want that luggage space for, and gundams, which are available comparatively cheap in M'sia would be the last thing that you will want to bring back!

i usually AB in the balcony when I was still staying at my old service apartment. With a cardboard box so the paint doesn't land on anything else, and so that wind doesn't blow over the satay sticks.

now i AB outdoors in the garden, and with a cardboard box still.

actually this one should be easy enough to AB. Not that many parts appear to need much masking, and the clear parts, well at most a gloss topcoat will do?

eh i remember colour being quite cheap also la. About 10-12 ringgits per bottle (but lama tak beli d, re: backlog doh.gif).

topcoat i don't mind airbrushing, but basecoat i prefer to use spray cans cause i personally find it too time consuming to clean the damned gun after using with mr surfacer.

looks quite spartan really... and gunpla on shallow open shelves? that is a 'battle effect' diorama waiting to happen...
