What is Gunpla?

Gundam Models refers to plastic and non-plastic model kits depicting the mechas, vehicles and characters of the fictional Mobile Suit Gundam universe. These kits have become popular among anime fans and model-lovers, especially in Japan and in other nearby Asian countries since 1980s. The popularity of Gundam models increased in the 1990s with North America and Europe being exposed to Gundam through television, video and manga. These Gundam Models may also be called Gunpla (ガンプラ Ganpura?), a portmanteau of "Gundam plastic model". "Gunpla" more commonly refers to the practice of building Gundam models, rather than the models themselves.

btw the Third is less powderful than the Second Revise
QUOTE
The original Blue Frame relied on speed, light armor, and a shield with an anti-beam coating for its defense. The Blue Frame Third departs for being a high speed mobile suit and into a powerful Close Combat mobile suit. It features a greater change of armor to make it more agile in combat and reliable in some situations. It's main Armaments are it's two Arm Blades used for close combat. The Arm blades is equipped with small rocket anchors similar to the GAT-X105E Strike E. It's also armed with a specially designed beam rifle, 2 Leg Blades and 2 Knee Blades. The prototype Third armor was discarded, since maintenance is costly and the design is considered bulky rather than agile. Also the new unit did not suit Gai's fighting style, and the Blue Frame Third was remodeled into the MBF-P03R Gundam Astray Blue Frame 2nd Revise.

Ok...I din know there was a new thread...lol...here's what I posted in the V26 thread:

Guys...I need an opinion from you guys. I want to make a diorama of two of my favourite HG kits that I have now...the Nu and the Sinanju...I want to make it a weathered battle royale between the two with the Sinanju holding the upper hand (take that Amuro and all you UC heroes! No one kicks Char's ass 3 times and gets away with it!)

My only issue is that weathering and battle damage will conflict with my initial plan of making a nice clean pristine Sinanju. Do you guys know of any nice weathered Sinanju pics?

so far, AFAIK, gundam with tight joint is the one that can transform (not all though). others, a re so-so. if holding bigger weapon, boom.. looks very loose. sweat.gif

can't coat the joints with superglue or paint or something to enlarge them? my sinanju also can't hold it's kick pose for very long without the leg sagging...hopefully after painting will be better...
