QUOTE(Lester1987 @ Jan 18 2013, 10:54 AM) i screwed up my MG Destiny extreme blast mode. i tried to apply the flat top coat, then after a while, i see the whole unit turning white (like kena a lot of snow) and the white is not balance. I dont know what to do and panic, tried to wash those white area with thinner. it can come off then i start to become lazy and pour thinner into a pail, and soak the whole gundam it is and take it out. now almost all those plastic joins are breaking off. actually if not because of the thinner part, even frosting also can be saved. For my case, I once screw up my PG strike freedom's dragoon system, where the frosting appear right after the top coat, da*n the stupid weather was hot for the whole day, and suddenly turn dark at the moment i about to do top coat. So what i did was: re-spray the color... Use the 200 sand paper slowly sand off the very rough surface, and re-do all the color spray work. so after many days, it was done. |

QUOTE(TaurusOxford @ Jan 19 2013, 08:52 PM) I got both SF and Nu from him. It won't be a problem. Even ebay sent me messages saying the items I purchased are probably fraudulant cause of his closed account. Is that any chance to complain to eBay, may be can get something courtesy from eBay? ( I knew many international corporation will do such thing when their customer got scammed, like booking.com, singapore airline... etc, even not they're not directly responsible for the case) Anyway, wish you all the best to get back your stuff. |

I tell you a secret, Agito is actually a girl, due to her overly pretty face, she have no choice but put her gender as Male to avoid all the harassment. Her signature is her actual person.

QUOTE(TheAdmiral @ Jan 22 2013, 10:32 AM) whenever a part is broken n glued back together (regardless of whatever u uses be it super glue, cement, etc) will never be as strong as when its a single piece. For instance if u sand a very small piece that is glued together u cant apply the same force as if it were a single piece, u hav to be gentle and light or it'll just break again at the same location. Ur question of strong enuf required context, strong enuf for what? Hold itself together sure no prob. Withstand rough handling, flexing, bending, etc nope. Yope, I means if it's strong enough to hold it back together, for me cement doesn't seems strong enough to use as glue, but I dare not use super glue (like the elephant brand one), it will melt my model |

QUOTE(sai86 @ Jan 23 2013, 09:30 AM) wta, where can i get the compound as in this site around Bukit Bintang area? (One U too far) that really put our patience to test... Fine and Coarse compound, as well as that top coat spray. i believe i nvr saw these in lit tak at sg. wang. these are great ways for nubs like me in painting how-to-remove-nubs-with-polishing-compound For me I simply knife it off carefully, sand it with very fine sand paper. After the painting you won't see where's the nub. |

Hee hee, a bit of '"re-work" for my Strike Freedom... I bought new decal from Samuel and applied them, the original decals from Bandai are just.... erm... shltty... Maybe the metallic one on dragoon wing still ok, but the rest are seriously
What surprises me was... Samuel uses Silver color to replaced all gray color decal, which makes them visible on darker color part, really love Samuel on this design. (And WTF wrong with Bandai for that sh|tty decals Here are some pics: ![]() ![]() A closer look: ![]() And some comparison with older photos, which without the additional decal: -- edited -- So sorry for the blurr-ish photos... QUOTE(hitsugayat10 @ Feb 17 2013, 10:59 PM) Spam! My completed zeta and the rest of my rg kits with the exception of char's zaku which is still in box nice ! tapi... mana putih punye RX-178?Of all d kits, i prefer mk2 the best coz the joints are stronger and stiffer which allows me to pose it easier and not as loose as strike or rx78 nor light as zaku...it's heavy enuf for its size and zeta's to me back heavier than freedom due to the more concentrate weight » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
