What is Gunpla?

Gundam Models refers to plastic and non-plastic model kits depicting the mechas, vehicles and characters of the fictional Mobile Suit Gundam universe. These kits have become popular among anime fans and model-lovers, especially in Japan and in other nearby Asian countries since 1980s. The popularity of Gundam models increased in the 1990s with North America and Europe being exposed to Gundam through television, video and manga. These Gundam Models may also be called Gunpla (ガンプラ Ganpura?), a portmanteau of "Gundam plastic model". "Gunpla" more commonly refers to the practice of building Gundam models, rather than the models themselves.

same case with HG Arios when the fin at knee they decide to give foil stickers
but for 1/100 they make it separate and color molded

why cant they do same for MG Tailgeese?

I bought the MG Freedom extra finish version a while back.
Didn't like it. Should've bought the normal ones. If you think nub marks looks bad on normal plastic, the look worse on extra finish or whatever finish version.
*
because the runner are chromed-plated not color mold
I myself dont like the chrome plated on Exia Ignition
but then those nub marks can easily fix with silver marker pen

kinda got some  laugh.gif reading this prediction list

just can't imagine hyaku shiki getting an RG treatment doh.gif
be reminded though this is just someone predictions only laugh.gif

list pretty much useless since they dont mention MG 2.0 of Gundam Ground Type/ EZ8 / Gouf Custom
hey, the short movie of 8th MS Team will be bundled with BD set which be high chances to milking gunpla too like they did to Seed Remaster

I quite agree with prediction of HGUC FA Unicorn release, though there will be long wait since episode 7's date air dont announce yet
for now, they only highlight HGUC Banshee Norm release for Episode 6

none of the tv ver upgrades were release what makes u think epyon hav an iota of chance? Heck none of the custom variant were release except for wing n dhell when it can easily be made with existing kits. Let them do atleast that 1st b4 hoping for more.

cuz when u think about it, with all these ver EW/ka/original/upgrades and what not, if bandai makes all of it then it'll hav crap ton of wing kits (the most of any AU) which is very uncharacteristic of Bandai. If its UC then yeah but AU.... and its long been off air at that...... dun get ur hopes up.
*
well, MG Wing TV did release long time ago(2010).. It is consider as TV version right?
I could see Bandai can reuse the inner frame from Wing TV into Wing Zero (and possible Epyon TV)

but then we have enough Seed and Wing MGs lately, so I think still a long way to get release

thank you. But i dont think ill build it, for now. Might want to better myself in colouring department 1st before going for it on this particular kit.
*
true, I think it is a wasted rushing build for limited exclusive stuff
at least do flat top coat, panel line, sand the nub mark properly

it make your kit worth your money

Oh, I thought there's a fb page or something. My bad..

In the meantime, almost done with this guy. Having fun building it. Learned a few things, broke a few thing (notice the broken antennae thingy). Another bazooka to be built and painted. Both shotguns haven't been painted.
Maybe next weekend..

the broken antenna you can fix easily with Hobby cement and sandpaper(to smoothen back the surface after glued)

exactly same problem as my kemfer, but cement (mr. hobby one) strong enough?
*
no, it need at least 10 hours to harden
Super Glue is reliable enough but it leave a white stain doh.gif
and also if your part is joint or need to move, the part itself will break again

Well basically this = Bandai easy pocket money. Reduce decals, put in the bazooka everyone wanted, rebrand, and re-adjust price accordingly biggrin.gif

cant because it got peg to fit the hole connector for HGUC
and also the base is too small cant support the weight of MG and end up falling back

ver ka 7000 ver ova 7500.

I suppose the price without tax is 7000 yen?
