Well I went through the same thing and trust me we have probably 1/3 of the number of HO during our time LOL... And we are still hitting the gym almost daily pre/post call.

my 1st post here, still newbie

my current routine, all using 8kg dumbbell, 5 days a week, 2 days for rest or one of the days i go for jogging

one arm shoulder press 5 x 10 - 12 reps
one arm upright row 5 x 10 - 12 reps

one arm dumbbell curl 5 x 10 - 12 reps
concentration curl 3 x 10 - 12 reps

push ups 10 x 10 - 12 reps


any comments? i have to settle for simple work out now since i dunhav a gym near my area

Heavier, and leaner than before, so that's definitely a good thing. One question though, do you have scoliosis, or is that due to the lighting?

thats the lighting i guess..haha..definately got an acne problem though..soap soap? no one else here with body acne problems? sweat.gif

Needs chest, shoulder and back.

I think push-ups alone wont be enough. You need to gradually increasing weights for you to improve.

i will be increasing the weights to 10kg in a week or so.but tht's already the max of my dumbbells

any other chest exercise other than push ups?

elevate your feet while doing pushups. focuses on the chest more. and imho without heavier weights/gym membership, there's gonna be little improvement with just a 10kg db.

wear a backpack and put books inside then pushup..

dips with the back pack on ur lap

floor flys with the dumbell for chest

floor press with dumbell

variations of the push up(diamond push up,wide stance push up,sliding push up)

many things u can do...but for sure after mayb a month u will lose motivation as its quite hard to be pumped up to work out at home with limite equipment
