Just called to replace my card..some terminals can use..some cannot..lol..

hi guys, since the tiers interest charge is 13.5-17.5. good paymaster for 1yr is 13.5. let say month 1-6 i dont used/so nonit to pay at all but 7-12 i used and pay on time will i get 13.5? or need to wait for 12pymt? thanks

I guess u entitle for 13.5% interest since u doesn't have to pay if you didn't use your card (minimum payment will be zero).

If u already have a Maybank Petronas Gold (Supplementary Card), what would be the main reason u got rejected when u r applying for amex gold card cc (requirement stated that supplementary above 18 can apply).

Who can apply?

* Malaysians and expatriates with a minimum annual income of RM30,000
* Principal cardholders: those between 21 to 65 years old
* Supplementary cardholders: at least 18 years old

What does that mean? Does it mean u need to become a principal cardholders first then later u can supplement 1 to other?

in order for the principal card holder to apply a supplement card for a person eg. the son, then the son must be at least 18 y.o...

i send to mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my as given by customer service my no reply.

bad service la maybank, cannot tahan their service.

for those new applicant for maybank please avoid it.

I usually call them instead of emailing them.

goto maybank2u.com.my then click on customer service...
MBB Customer Service
click on "compliments", "enquiries" or "complaint"...
the relevant form will appear for you to key in...
most probably they will email back within a few days... but calling them is faster if you cannot wait...

i got my standard chartered gold visa that comes with rm80 cash rebate. the first thing i found out via online banking for the card is that rm50 straight away deducted on the first day of the card issued as the gov tax. i tought the gov tax is on anniversary date which is after one year?

Yes,if you do become a principal cardholder then only you can sub your card to your family members..

If for example,your dad,applies the aforementioned card,then he can sub his card to you given that you are 18 years and above..

yes they are bad..their cs is famed for being one of the worst..although i am a premier account holder of their bank..

New cards approved in 2010 has GST charged immediately upon approval.

I agree. When I first applied for MBB card few years ago, it took 3 weeks before they call my work office to verify. I remember checking the application status after a month but still in processing stage. I forget about it already. I received a call from their branch nearby my place that my card is ready for collection.. but that is after 2 months since the application. Lousy service. Other banks - 1 to 2 weeks only.

Whenever I will call their phone, they are so lazy to answer soon or I have to wait a whooping 40 minutes.
