Hi Clarance,
I'm working for a middle east bank and we offer a programme balance transfer too but not transferring to a credit card but to a financing instead. And this is what we have to offer.
> We don't offer a 6 months 0% interest, but a flat rate of 8.5% per annum (Lets say you have an outstanding of RM20,000) can you really clear it in 6 months?)
> Certainty in repayment, there's no minimum payment
> No interest, so no effect on compounding balance, (if you pay a minimum on your credit card the compounding balance will be charge interest, but for us, even if you did'nt pay there's no effect on compounding balance as there is no interest)
> No penalty for late payment, only postal charges (when we send the reminder)
>rebate for early settlement

If you wanna know more feel free to pm me.. : )
Regards, Hafiz Noor : )

Alliance Bank

Interest computed using Reducing balance method at 6% pa for life ( same method as a housing house ).

They have a few. This one is better.

The CIMB DA 0% BT transfer promo is indeed extended to September 2010 and I confirmed this with DA CS.

I also made a BT transfer and it was processed in just 2 days! rclxms.gif

HLB not bad, can early settle no penalty..
*
Promotion has ended.New BT will have a penalty clause if you settle early.Just got updated by Bank Officer last week.
IMHO, in terms of BT services, HLB is still the best. Reason:
i) Just a call to the officer and the process will be settled. Hassle free
ii) No need to submit latest credit card statement
iii) No need to fax anything. just call.
iv) BT processed in 5 working days(max). normally is 3 working days
v) BEST!!They can transfer money to any account you want, not just the credit card thumbup.gif

rate wise, not the best..6% per annum for 6 months
but if u want fast and hassle free BT or cash, I can only think of HLB
PM me if you need the contact from the officer
Just SMS her and she will call you

So those banks that offer 0% up to 6 months transfer, any catch or hidden clauses behind or not?
