Thus our risk is capped at Rm250, thus why should you buy the insurance?
*
it's for protection, u might not know u'll face this senario:
- cc fraud dept investigation found that u're liable 4 the fraud
- after appeal to FNB, the verdict is still remain
- next step, court case = layer fee etc
the CPP coverage is merely RM440 per fraud cc, it's still better 4 nothing smile.gif
it's also convenient to just call 1 number to stop all your cc,atm. i'd just sign up recently rclxms.gif

btw, to claim this CPP, u'll need to make a policy report.

Is the above true for all banks ?
I thought we can "gain" back some CL once we start paying the monthly 0% installments....  cry.gif
*

CIMB send me a letter regarding to the CIMB Touch and Go credit card, I don't plan to take it anymore as have to pay RM50 service charge, when I open the letter, the letter already charge me RM10 for the Touch n Go activation fees -__-"

anyway, CIMB has yet to call me, shall I ignore the letter? assume like I didnt receive it tongue.gif

or shall I go to bank with the letter, and ask for credit card cancellation?

they will charge me the RM10 right? hmm.gif
*
if it's a pre approved card, as long u're not using it yet it's ok. Usually if u use it = accept the t&c.

Safest way to cancel it is:
1. write a simple letter stating u do not wish to accept this pre approved card & hereby return to the bank.
2. print two copies of the letter, one copy for ur nearest bank, another copy ask the staff to chop the "Received on date" & keep the letter for ur reference. smile.gif

Zing card is not economic, you have to top up at touch and go line only.
Somemore, each top up uses RM2.
If I really have to top up at touch and go lane, I would pay the cash and no commission.

I am using smartag, if they reduce each top up commission to RM0.50 and automatic top up at smartag lane, I will take it.

u can reload by credit card manually as well in TnG Hub in KL Sentral, Tmn Desa KL, Tol Plaza office such as LDP, Pantai, Kesas, Plus at Penang bridge Duta Sg besi Damansara Subang Batu tiga etc at no extra cost.
can comfirm with TnG on details 03-76285115 careline@touchngo.com.my smile.gif

They're trying to retain the current base by offering auto CL increase. The same tactic is being used by CIMB and CIMB DA.
*
Citibank does the same to, they send a congratulation letter to me informing the increase of my CL smile.gif

You can check the feedback from following Citibank customer experience

http://www.citibank.com.my/MYGCB/APPS/port...estimonials.htm

Don't ever trust the rumor, so far they have good customer service in credit card business
Citi never sleeps
*
the experience campaign is merely a marketing gimmick, however citi cs is still one of the best smile.gif

Well I wanted the card for better cash flow, obviously. You have between 30+20 to 20 days of interest free period during which you can hold on to your cash depending on when the purchase is made. My cash flow was really hurt without the card when I spent a few hundred on air tickets a month. Imagine coughing up those money 1-2 months in advance.

Btw, one of my relative is a senior teacher in a primary school. CC sales personnel are no strangers to her as they keep flocking schools to practically push CCs into hands of fresh-out-of-college teachers. I was like, my annual salary is at least 10k higher than those teachers and they get cards shoved into their hands? Just WTF.
*
criteria to enjoy 20 days interest free is paying full every month,
if u does not pay full b4 the due date, next month no interest free

The most (possibly) sought after card in this forum is not even a Platinum card - it is just a Titanium card with no attractive extra privileges or special petrol rebate that everyone is crazy about.  Some of the regular guys here will agree with me. Plus ... it is no longer available for new application which makes it slightly more exclusive now.
*
OCBC still issuing Great Eastern Titanium

No ... it is not the OCBC GE Titanium. OCBC you can still apply ... this card you can't anymore.
Oh well ... it is the SCB JustOne Titanium.

Hahaha ... wait till he sees the 'standard' Annual Fees that he has to pay!

if this SCB card still available, i don't mind even paying RM100 tax for the 5% cash rebate tongue.gif

anyone got any alliance bank credit card?
just wanna ask how to you access the internet banking (i.e., allianceonline personal) to view the statements?
btw, i do not have any savings/current with alliance bank so there's no way i can access their internet banking using atm/tpin or whatsoever....
tried to call them several times and each one of them gave different answer or kick me here and there... terrible... one even dare to say "no hassle, u just go to our website and key in ur cc no... no need any pin..." vomit blood...
*
the 2 option given by cs was:

1. walk into branch & apply 4 online access + password, wait 7 days & go back the same branch to collect the access + password

2. open a saving/current & apply 4 it, access + password given on the spot.

if ur cc is not listed in web, click add account & wait 4 few days smile.gif
