Yeah, use magic sponge or melamine sponge to clean it. The white Hero has Teflon coating, after all.

nope, malaysia sets don come with Market, instead, with SlideMe.
if u want Android Market, then you'll have to root it.

Oh my yes... Finally I successfully made my own 'custom' ROM!

Not exactly.

I did my own mods (for the time being just removing, adding apks only) to MCR 3.0 update.zip. I removed apps as per my mass-delete script. Then, I follow lox's tutorial at http://is.gd/5yH80 to repack teh update.zip.

Now I have a bare MCR based on MCR 3.0c! Bye-bye hackish, dirty mass-delete script!



Now let's see what happen if I put new 2.1 browser to this MCR... Oh my...

Edit: Oh my f*** yeah! Nexus One boot animation on my MCR! JIAHAHAHA.

How to customized ur hero with Nexus One bootscreen ... it could spice up ur hero usage ...

I found this seller (sak.gaming) in eBay selling FlexiShield, but the seller refused to deliver to Malaysia.

I then saw people from other forum recommended this substitute, soft gel case from Epik similar to FlexiShield (seller: dcmugen88 http://stores.shop.ebay.com.my/dcmugen). Thinking to get myself one black and one white so that my hero can change his shield daily depend on his mood

Ahhh, now that explains it. Malaysia doesn't come with market. I am glad I got mine under SiS

right now im using mcr 3.0 with teknologist 1.91. it is super smooth and fast.
if your 'custom mcr' can be much more faster then it will be great.

Unfortunately no. Nothing faster or special.

My Hero is just a bare version of MCR 3.0. I modded several settings (apns, apps + widgets, icons, boot anim. & some small small things) and repack it for personal use.

It's mainly for my own educational purpose only.

Guys. Need a little help here. I backup my contacts using mybackup pro before flashing my Rom. After that I restore the contacts etc with mybackup. But after I log into my g acc now my contacts was all duplicated. From 300 contacts become 600! TOgether with the favourite ppl. Anyway to delete the duplicate contacts ?

You use Google Contacts?

I read Google Contacts has this 'merge' feature. You can try that.
