Ok,I just bought hero white today from pda expert,2299 including credit card charges.I bought a pouch too,but I dun like it at all. Do you guys use pouch ?

Do i need to flash to 2.73.405.66 before I apply MoDaCo 3.0 ? Im still in 2.73.728.5

And where do I process to upgrade to Android 2.0?

I just realised that my hero, even though not flashed with any custom rom, the camera focus point can be moved freely on screen by dragging the targetting-box

whoop, i was misleading. i JUST realised, again, my virgin hero can do exactly like what u said, touch anywhere on the screen, get focused and take picture.

I didnt know it can actually do this, I thought I read from somewhere else that Hero cant do this unless it's flashed with custom rom.

htc sync failed to detect my hero

my hero was detected right after I freshly installed htc sync. But after doing something else ( i switched to usb mount to copy the recovery image ), it won't detect anymore

I tried re-installing the driver and rebooted, it still works only for the first time.

Well I'm using win7, and I tried the solution suggested to use the driver for vista instead, but it doesn't help..

I just moved to Modaco 3.0.

I find that previously associated facebook accounts wouldn't show up, and my facebook friend list couldn't be downloaded. I can't re-attempt to link the facebook profile of my contact list again, it shows "Friends data is either downloading or unavailable"..

Solution to this problem, is to connect to 3G Mobile Internet rather than Wifi.

I connected my phone to Wifi for the whole night but it still failed, but
the facebook contacts get downloaded within a click after connected to the Mobile Internet.

Nope, I tried the update there, but it still doesn't get updated if I were connected to Wifi, and I dunno why it's ok with Mobile Internet.
Same thing goes to my plurk. It doesn't connect with Wifi.

you'll eventually find out your own way to type smoothly using hero after some practice, I myself prefer to type 'vertically' using my thumb

even if you pressed on the wrong characters, as long as your finger isn't too far away from the right characters, hero would suggest you some words based on the 'pattern' of what you've pressed.

has anyone purchased Camera Zoom Fx?

too bad nope, i've rubbed it for the whole afternoon with wet cloth, but they are still there

I found this seller (sak.gaming) in eBay selling FlexiShield, but the seller refused to deliver to Malaysia.

I then saw people from other forum recommended this substitute, soft gel case from Epik similar to FlexiShield (seller: dcmugen88 http://stores.shop.ebay.com.my/dcmugen). Thinking to get myself one black and one white so that my hero can change his shield daily depend on his mood

I just flashed to SenseHero (1.5) yesterday, was using Modaco before that. More and more custom roms are available in xda forum. I know this question doesn't sound clever, but which one of them is 'best'? I havent tried those like VillainRom with Android 2.1 yet anyway..

I'm kinda annoyed with one prob

My facebook contacts / event updates / display pictures etc etc, all wouldn't get downloaded or updated when im connected to the internet with Wifi.

But when I switched to Mobile internet, it works..

This happened since when I was using Modaco 3.0, VillainRom, and now SenseHero. I wonder if there anyone encounter this same problem. Perhaps I missed out a setting or something?
